I'm doing a little test here. When I searched for "NGAS" several different threads showed up and this one was the fourth or fifth down in terms of relevance. But the "more relevant" threads were much less relevant than this one. I'm wondering if I type NGAS enough if it will pop this thread's relevance rating to the top. I think NGAS is ready for a pop so I think this thread will get busy again soon.

I just went back and ran the search again, and my theory was wrong. I wonder what determines the % relevance of a thread? Will have to check with Ramsburg.

Anyway, I bought NGAS today near the close. It broke through the upper trendline of the descending channel, MACD is turning positive/crossing over, and I like the way it closed above the center BB.

I bought in this week again too.  The cold weather brings to mind the importance of ng which is still relatively cheap compared to oil.  For a similar break above the trendline of a descending channel, look at NGS.  They make and service pumps for ng drilling - which will increase as the demand increases.

Nice HOD close yesterday, chart is turning bullish here after a downtrend, MACD moving up and RSI went through 50!

All of these stocks,NGAS, NGS, CHK, have a rising RSI, Rising Money Flow, Stochastics going from over sold to over bought, but as we know they can stay overbought for a long time, MACD slow/fast crossover occurred, and the histogram has turned positive.
NGAS is taking a bounce up from a 61.8% Fibonacci retracement.

Looking at the 4 week chart it is clear that NGAS is picking up steam as a result of largely...shortcovering (10% of float)

P/E is horrendously ridiculous, if you question this?
The rise of NGAS despite their high P/E ratio is due to their *ridiculously* small float. Does anyone know of any other stock like this one? There are only 14-16 million outstanding shares.

After all, it is, William J. O'Neil , author of the book, "How To Make Money In Stocks". That teaches that P/E ratio have very little to do with whether a stock should be bought or not. A stock's P/E  ratio is not normally an important cause of the most successful stock moves.

We are getting alot of snow now in the Northeast and winter is still officially 17 days away.

NGAS should do well this week.  Near term target $13.

Need to see an update on the new gas line going into service.They have been installing the compressor equipment, etc. Do yourself a favor and look at the slide presentation at their web site. Excellent and has a lot of info for those that want to understand the NG business. They have two of their own drilling rigs, which are in short supply in the industry.
