EliteG,

Its your message thread, but I couldnt resist asking you about FNSR. Have a look at chart and can you post the analysis and "opinion" here or on FNSR thread. Setravis, Higherstocks and I are looking forward to your analysis.

Also, thanks for squm and eyii picks...

Thanks,
Dhiraj

I'm going to look at FNSR  ;)

elite what are you looking at for MONDAY?

And what are you holding currently.

I'm all cash.  I thought this would help clear my head for next week.  Looking for the next "hot" item which may mean I will rebuy stocks I sold.  8)

elite does that mean SQUM and HYRF? Are you willing to chase them higher which I am assuming will have gap up on Monday.

it may be the case  ;) but I dont call it chasing.. I will wait for some pattern on the intraday  8)

Allright.. 8)

I really wanted to trade CPST and it looks hot this morning.

setravis has been all over this stock: http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=686.msg20452#msg20452

It closed above $5 on strong trading friday making it marginable for most people again.  CPST will be a daytraders paradise today.  Its going nuts in the pre-market almost 600,000 traded as I write this.

Technically it busted out of a tight consolidation with volume after a powerful rise which is the basis behind the g-pattern.  I am lookin for some great stuff from CPST today.  >:D  Hopefully will get a chance to buy some more at open.  I am in @ 5.70.

What a battle..now @ 662,000 volume 5 minutes till open

eliteG

shorts won the first round..out at 5.54..  :-X

SQUM and HYRF were bull traps

happens so often on these pennies

(question of how to find a stock pre-breakout moved to stock market talking.  this is sort of related to the g pattern, since it is finding the stock prior to g1.  if you have some input for the other thread, feel free)

I think you are incorrect drex.  SQUM and HYRF are still much above their breakout points.  I am out of both of them but I dont see them as "bull traps".

as an aside, is there a thread that addresses how to find a stock pre-breakout?

I've seen so many stocks that are flat for a long time, have a day with some volume action, and then explode the next day. (usually I find them the day they are breaking out and it is risky to chase)

Elite, stocky or Rams, you guys have a preset screen or method you can share for finding these prior to the breakout day?

Just follow the volume drex thats what I do  ;) and use historical charts to test your ideas.  You may want to ask this in stock market talking.  This is the thread for the infinite compound project I will eventually get back to  8)

heres one directly relating to g pattern then:

I'm confident when to buy with the g pattern, but what is the correct sell point?

would you hold as long as the price is still above the breakout, or would you have a stop loss in place?
TIA

eliteG

picked up some PRTL @ 0.99

-its got some momentum with this volume and I will add to this position if it can close above 1.  This chart pattern has potential, imo.
;)

selling is tough stuff drex.  For me its different every time on a g-pattern stock.  You must adjust to the current play but always protect your profit.  Hope that helps.

Hi eliteG.
Awesome pick and great timing.
Go in at 0.98.
Stockconsultant.com show breakout alert (confirmed from triple resistance above .93) and the target of 1.21.
Do you agree with the target and do you thing that stockconsultant website is useful.

Once again, great thread (me following now on :) and great pick.

eliteG

thx OneStockMind  ;D  I was hoping someone was following this specific pick, PRTL.

That target sounds good, you may want to 1/2 sell there.  I doubled my position @ .98 and just sold half @1.16.  I'm thinking the trading community gets into this one and sends it 1.50-2, possibly.

I am familiar with stockconsultant.com but I do not find it useful myself because I like to do my own TA.

PRTL kickin ass!  8)

Another possible breakout: FUEL.
What do you think about that one. I made some money on the last run but unfortunately took a position at 4.2 and got stopped out at 3.32. 20% loss - it hurts but I still think it could go back to 5.
Stockconsultant has a possible breakout > 3.64 with target of 4.24.

I followed it also....but due to lack of settled penny funds, I didn't get in. But you called it right...looked like others were watching for it to break $1 also....I thought the volume was dying but once it got over $1 around 3PM it was a frantic push upward. Yet another good call Elite. I would applaud but, being a newbie, I don't have the privelege of doing so. I have been watching here for 4-6 months though, and I must say that your track record, at least what I've watched, has been amazing. Keep up the good work.  ;D
