  DNDN...good pick....I didn't notice until after hours...looks like you should have held on roight now...but who knows by tommorrow. 

  I have hit the wrong button before and nearly typed the wrong stock symbol once. I don't remember what it cost me if anything. But I was using Etrade not long after they started, and had some options nearing expiration...on JBL, when it was JBIL and flying...the options had quickly turned several hundred $ into about 10 thousand and there was some bad news at the open...I could not get their site to take a sell order and couldn't get through on the phone...and watched that money disappear in about a half hour. I suspected that alot of people were trying to sell JBL and some others that morning and the system was clogged...I filed a complaint, but they refused it...I don't use Etrade anymore, even though, such a conundrum could occur with any of them...but it was more likely then. Anyway....with humans, these things...mistakes... are commonplace.

"Overall" I have noticed over the last few weeks that you sell a stock u have bought quite quickly.  often staying in that stock no more than a day.... if even a day.

Dave Randolph, on the other hand, as i would characterize his trading, stays in a stock often for weeks as long as it is going UP or if it goes DOWN until it goes DOWN too much or returns to the UP path.

It is almost like you refuse to lose on a stock while Dave will take a loss.  Dave's # of losses is more than the # of his gains.  If one of your stocks goes down you will sell it very quickly.

As this is the Infinite Compund Project I am trying to understand your style of trading and thinking.  It is almost like you win more often but smaller amounts and dave wins less often but bigger amounts.  Is this correct?

Ok G man, I need some schoolin here how did you know about dndn. Ive owned the stock for about three months, just because i knew it would be apporved, (ok speculated) sometime in the fall. The company sent me an email some where around 1 pm , so i added , but you picked up on it right away. Is it just involvement in the stock community, in play, crystal ball, do you talk with that guy in prison - the one who says hes from the future? Any way awsome job picking, ive learned so much from your posts and i know the rest of the gang has as well  . Thanks for sticking around      TonyG

agatto2: That's not a G pattern. There's no outstanding volume behind the last breakout (it would have to be something like the breakout right after June 6.) I recommend reading the summary on G patterns that's at the beginning of this thread or on the Potential G patterns thread on the board.

I just bought some AVNC @ 2.38.. I see the potential for it to reach 4+ today on a previous gap fill and my stop is close by so the risk reard seems right

i should add that 3 and 3.19 will be resistance points as well with 2.25 and 2 as support for AVNC

picked up some more AVNC 2.24 stoppin it all @ 1.99

and picked up MGAM @ 10.50

I read your post, and decided to buy, and had I bought literally 3 minutes later, I could have bought for 2.25 instead I bought for 2.44

I hate starting a trade off immediately with a loss, it is so discouraging!

I would think that it would close the gap @2.05 before it can continue up but that's not always the case so let's see.
