Hey G man,
My take on knowing the fundamentals.Long term good, short term not so good. Most of the stocks that we talk about in momentum trading. We will never trade if we start lookin at the fundamantles. So if you have success in the way you are trading than stick to it and don't make your life complicated.

I very much understand your concern ak  ;)  Its just great to be able to analyze the fundamentals in case it ever becomes an issue.  But of course your right, for the short term momentum plays its 99% about the charts for me.  Candlesticks, lines and volume bars.  8)

End of Day update:

-------------------------------------

GLIF - great close.. it really makes that blue line look like strong support.  This may just zoom back... next week is gonna be interesting eh?

-----------------------------

BIGN - ended the day with a nice lower shadow but otherwise an uneventful low volume friday.  I'm waiting for volume to tell me which way this wants to go.  The formation it is in, a flag break and an inverse H&S bottom, should takeoff with a break of .035.

-----------------------------

HQSM - broke the triangle and closed allright.  It didn't get enough attention on a Friday to be able to hold the higher prices it saw through the day but thats ok.  I believe this one is headed higher and soon and if it falls back it will show support.  Lets see what next week holds.

-----------------------------

Have a great weekend everybody!  8)
Relax so we can kick some @$$ next week.

Thanks for the info/interpretation on the notes.  That 196 million number at .011 cents/share definitely scared me, but after reading here and reading up on the web, I see that it's not a huge deal.  The warrants at .45 are encouraging too.  Anyway, I took a loss in GLIF on the day after it shot up 100%+ recently, so while my gut instinct tells me to hop back on board, I think I will sleep better at night letting you all ride this one out while staying on the sidelines :)  The close today (Friday) was impressive!  Best of luck - things are lookin' good!

From what i have read , I think most stocks start out with a large banker financing them, and most times they make deals ( the company) with them similar to the one you are talking about . The book stock market investing made easy explained the process this way. Going public is a three-step process. First the investment banker buys all the new shares directly from the corporation ( primary maket). Second the investment banker resells those shares in smaller lots to incividual and institutional investors ( initial public offering) . Third , public investors buy and sell shares on the open market. Between these major events there are exciting intervening steps. Taking a private corporation public is a high stakes game.
So most companies make deals that we are unaware of , but its what is needed at the time to get the money for what management wants . Thats what brvo did with coca cola. Hope this gives some insite into what happens behind the screen.

Some pages back there were links to free LEVEL2-sites (don´t like to search!).
Am I right that they all have delayed numbers? I think there is no LEVEL2-site without costs (beside you have an account)!
Thanks in advance!

So I was thinking about it and I am leaning towards creating one new thread.

Here is my proposal:

-I'll create one new thread(I'll call it something like EliteG Infinite Compound Project II).

-I'll leave it unlocked during the trading day but I will lock it from replies when the trading day ends.  This will let me have the 1st and last say on the thread each day... and that might help the thread be more focused.

-I'll create some guidelines for posting to help keep it focused. (Questions, info on the current picks..etc = good, news on other stocks, the smiting soap opera, insulting a poster = bad)  More on this soon, it will be important.

The reason I would like to have replies in my thread is because the dynamic of us traders talking, the feedback, the questions.. all of that really helps me out.  After the compound is sealed  :D (~5pm) feel free to ask anything over the personal message thing.  I will try to get to it by the next day.

Let me know what you guys think.  Good idea? Great Idea? The most amazing idea you ever heard of? Flawed? Dude wheres my car?

Hey G man,
I like the idea about the project II.What if everybody else's rec. stayed in project I.In other words only your rec. and talk about that rec., and that rec. only was posted in II.If you liked some postings in I you and you only would have the discretion to start a dialogue on that in II.
I believe it to be your board, and other members visit it because they want to see what you are buying or thinking of buying and members can fill in different information on that stock selection.I hope I am making some sense here.

wrangler - no go on CYOS, moving down, no volume rise showing support, lots of bagholders here
-------------------
la-onda - ETLT looks solid and it will be on my watchlist.. not sure how long it will take to breakout
--------------
akclide - One thing I'm sure about is that project 1 should be locked up.  Other picks should be made in their places on other boards.  But its no prob to answer questions.  I'll see how it goes and we can modify it all accordingly..
----------------
I'll test out the locking up the compound at the end of day thing and see how it goes this week(in project 1).. Its been a busy weekend and I have some other projects to get done this week so I may not be as available as usual  ;)

Everybody have a great week
