I think I told the board this stock is "on fire".  This fire has just begun.

IMO this stock is "on fire".

just awesome

A lot of good information on the board today (and smileys  ;))

The investment in and partnership with T2CN is yet another masterstroke by GIGM. They are fast becoming the powerhouse of Chinese online gaming. There are several interesting perspectives in the deal. One of them is that even though T2CN's games are free gamers do actually pay for getting additional weapons and other advantages. T2NV therefore has a payment system in place with vouchers, credit cards and agreements with Internet Café's. This could proof to have immense value for GIGM.

T2CN has had a block of 8 million shares for sale for some time at a price of $1.5 per share. I am not sure if that is the block that GIGM has bought. There is a SEC prospectus with a lot of great details on T2CN here: http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1333194/000100487805000176/f1amend1nov05.txt

As said before it is time to raise the stop for GIGM. We will put a stop at the ascending trend line, which stands at 7.7 today. We will revisit the stop regularly.

GIGM shoots over 17% :o :o

LOL, i think i understated the impact of the news release in my previous post ;) GIGM now have entry into China and for $15M have bought access to 21M online potential customers plus a seat on the board of T2CN. The market for sure is rewarding the way GIGM management are executing to strategy.

Chart now looks like a runaway gap could be established as traders are falling over themselves to get on board. This type of gap is aways more significant if it has broken out of an already strong chart pattern (which with GIGM for sure is the case). Some refer to this type of gap (once it is confirmed) as a measuring gap because it occurs at the approximate halfway point of an extended run. No idea if that is a valid theory or not, it would give an $18 zone as a target though.

Flipside to the above is an exhaustion gap, which would mean this gap fills quickly and stock loses momentum to the downside.

I am betting on the former (based on the news in the pipeline and the execution to stated strategy that GIGM are doing), but will tighten stops to protect profit.

Good luck to all.

This news release came out just after I posted. Maybe we get more fuel on the fire on the run up to earnings. This next week or so will be interesting for sure.

Hey Aussie, could you please share your stop strategy on GIGM at this juncture?
Thank you!

Sure, I have a split 50:50 stop now. One at $7.70 below ascending support line and one at $8.20 below my previous ascending resistance line and the daily 9ema. That combination gives me 70% profit protected 30% at risk. I'll be watching how the gap up plays out over the coming days to re-adjust when required.

GIGM is a 10 baby!   Ok,  maybe it is just lust on my part

Did I tell you this stock is "on fire"?  How many new 52 week high's did it make in a row?  This is a sign to buy buy buy!!!  You simply can not afford not to be in this stock.

Amarens

Saw 3SOV updated the stop to $ 7,70, which is about my previous TL.

My update and descions for today:
Today I decided to started to follow a new ascending TL, rising $ 0,40 a day standing at $ 9,68 today. I've put my stop just below that at $ 9,60).

I know it's steep but, I'm simply unwilling to let 25% profits run away. If it goes through my stop I trust I'll be able to pick up GIGM at a lower level.

Michael,

Do you have a target price for this stock?
If not, when are you planning to sell? Only when you will notice it does not get higher anymore?

Thanks!

Normal profit taking.  Today's low still above yesterday's low.  We need to consolidate before earnings so after earning is announced we can make massive run out of this new base.
