I have to abandon the possibility of a symmetrical triangle on TYRIA.OB, but I'll keep the stock anyway. $0.029 is working as short term support.

David Randolph

TIRIA.OB just needs to hold current levels, so the next round of bullish news and results takes it into new ground above $0.046-$0.049.

Trey Resources Reports Revenues in Excess of $955,000 for Second Quarter
PR Newswire - August 08, 2005 06:30
Sales for the First Six Months Top $1.95 Million

LIVINGSTON, N.J., Aug 08, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Trey Resources, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TYRIA), the premier total solutions provider specializing in business software for the small- and medium-sized business market, today reported its financial results for its second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2005 in a Form 10-QSB filed with the SEC.

For the quarter ending June 30, 2005, the Company reported revenue of $955,527 as compared to $215,075 for the second quarter of 2004.

The Company reported, on a consolidated basis, a net loss of $334,203 in 2005, as compared to a net loss of $312,654 for the quarter ended June 30, 2004, primarily due to increased corporate overhead, including additional sales and marketing expenses.

For the first six months of fiscal 2005, the Company reported revenue of $1,964,941 as compared to revenue of $215,075 for the first six months of 2004. This nine-fold increase reflects the revenue from the acquisition that closed in June 2004 of our SWK Technologies subsidiary.

Net loss on a consolidated basis for the first six months of fiscal 2005 was $852,491, or $0.02 per share, versus a loss of $1,268,179, or $0.25 per share, for the same period in 2004.

Mark Meller, CEO of Trey Resources, said, "Our second quarter results were solid. Several major transactions that we had hoped to close in the second quarter were delayed, which impacted our final results, but we expect them to now close in the third and fourth quarters of 2005."

Meller continued, "All indications point to a very active second half of the year. Our sales activity and pipeline continues to grow at a rapid pace. Market acceptance of our MAPADOC EDI solution has taken hold, and our MAS 500 initiatives have resulted in several very substantial deals being quoted in the second quarter. We anticipate that some or all of these deals will close by year end. We are working on becoming a significant participant in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Our deal flow for potential acquisitions continues to grow. All in all, we are optimistic about the future and look forward to delivering superior financial results in the coming quarters."

Just one opinion, do the research

David Randolph

Great news fill_the_gap, in line with what I was expecting. Now tell me, how come a company with estimated $4M in sales in 2005 is worth only $2M?

Revenues were up ninefold from the same quarter year ago and the net loss per share was reduced from $0.25 to $0.02. Probably in the next few quarters this company will be profitable.

I hope the market sees what we're seeing and the stock breaks the $0.046-$0.049 resistance level, I have it for a long time now in the 3 SOF Portfolio.

yuyjust

Why is it everytime ther is news TYRIA dropped like crazy. Just dont understand?

"sell the news"  :)

The stock was below .025 a day before David jumped in. Some guys have loaded tons below that level. So if the market is bleeding then it does make sense to get some air from TYRIA.

yuyjust

Thanks for your post Stocky. Been taking a 1-2-3-4 punch in the past week. Well better go take some internal bleeding medicine. Hopefully  nothing will go down from here. Well if it does I will have to go to the beach and stay away for awhile any suggestions on the beaches ?? lol

Michael

Hi Yuyjust,

May I suggest Mozambique. They have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and great wildlife as well.

I am ready to go with a minute warning. BNT, CRYP and DNDN are down even though they all beat the estimates. Maybe we should try to find stocks that are going to disappoint. hmmmm... would be a hell of a lot easier  :D

Thanks for your posts folks, Mozambique is really a beautiful country, one of my best friends is from there ... it's a shame it's so poor  :-[

I have a hard time understanding TYRIA.OB  ??? Results were good and the stock went down: this is terribly bearish behavior !

But sometimes, even when the stock is good, the market is not on the right mood ... the time wasn't proper to rally, so when traders saw a rally wasn't coming on the news, they sold off.

I have to give a bit more room to TYRIA, fundamentals are great and we know how a single white candle can change the all picture. But I can't lose much on this trade, though I have just 3% of capital allocated to it, so I'll keep a close eye on this ... but I'm not selling today.

ehos

Just had a quick look at their financials...

It's true they made 5 times revenue over last years quarter, but their cost of sales has increased from 50% or so to around 66%  On top of that they doubled their operations loss.

They're making MORE revenue but less profit (the bottom line).

I think from a fundamental point of view, once they get their losses down, they will rocket up.  I'm curious why a software company has such high operations losses?

Thanks for your input ehos. Me too, I'm curious about it and don't have a clue ... TYRIA.OB is starting to get on my nerves. I have only 3% of capital in it, but I was absolutely convinced the stock was going up, and it didn't.

So, probably I'm wrong, I don't know, I'm confused.

What should I do in this situation?

Take a deep breath and design a technical trading plan that takes me out of this if the situation worsens. I see a Dragonfly Doji or Takuri Line on the chart, and the candlestick theory says that after a downtrend, if we get a takuri line, that's extremely bullish.

So I'll hold the stock a bit more ... if this candlestick pattern fails to lift the stock tomorrow I'll probably sell on close and forget about TYRIA for a long period of time.

Tyria is in good business but they need to improve their financial position.
I am not too sure about this management but I think they can play a big role to improve company's margin.
I am confident on Tyria's future growth and holding for a long term.
I don't see it as a short term play.
That's my two cents..

ehos

55 Million shares x .025 cents = 1.4 Million Market Cap.

For a company that makes 1 Million PER QUARTER in revenue, it's a bargain.  There is literally a TON of stocks that make much less revenue and are worth way more.  (I know it's a falacy to rely on the market, but, it's my rationalization I guess)

Technically it should be easily worth .04 to .05 cents (if only those operation loses weren't so high).

Can't have it all :)

ehos

Hi David,
did you sell Tyria? Can you let us in on the reasoning?

Why now etc?  Thanks Smiley

David Randolph

Hello ehos  :)

Yes, I had to sell TYRIA.OB, according to plan. I agree with you on everything you said, I don't know why the stock was going down with what I perceive to be attractive fundamentals.

I always fear my losses grow and hope my profits rise (these are actually good emotions to have, but not in the way the «not very experienced market man» does, which is to hope losses disappear by magic and fear to lose the profits he has).

Anyway, I was approaching my loss limit level of 30% and took a 22% loss on TYRIA.OB. I sold because of a matter of discipline, a belief that the market always knows better. I had a theory, but the market didn't agree with me. And, at the end, when you finally count the notes, the market is always right. The only way for a man to prosper in the market, well, perhaps not the only, but the best, is to be humble and respect the market. Unless you're Warren Buffet and buy the whole company and turn it around if you please, you need to be humble, go with flow and always respect the market, regardless of what you think it is right or should be happenning.

I wonder how many people lose a lot of money thinking the way Buffet does, ignoring that he has the power to control events, and the average man does not.

Good luck ehos  :)
