Snowy has this one in his daily updates, but this thread needs some new life... Terliso today the 50sma just smashed through the other 2 magics, we have missed almost 80% in the past 5 weeks... yet is there a chance that this party is just warming up?   NVEC was $60/share 2 1/2 years ago, the 3 magics are well set up.  Volume is still light but 9 times the 90 day average so it is up... great move in the past 2 weeks. 

This thread has been dead for a year!  time to revive it.  Terliso, Melf, Snowy what do you folks see as a good entry.... and even Nulz you may find an entry for a couple point short or this could be one to break the ice on a long position!

My thoughts  see if we get another consoldation then enter long.. see if it runs another day or two then if RSI gets over 85 or so enter a quick short...  lets see how it plays and what the volume does.

Thursday's bo was a good entry point.  If you can go back in time, 18 was likely good also.

Seriously, the potential here is tremendous - computors, hearing aids, military.

BUT MOST IMPORTANT, LOOK HOW THE VOLUME HAS BEEN INCREASING!!!

THE BIG PLAYERS HAVE NOT BEGUN TO GET IN ON THIS.

A month ago this was trading 50k shares.  Yesterday it did 700k.  It will average 200k soon.

It is looking toppy at this point.  The stock has been volatile.  I am taking some off the table right now because the market is unpredictable and I am sitting on a nice $5k profit.  For once I do not want to say "easy come, easy go".

Way down from its hod.  I took some profits - 30% - for the 2nd time (originally bt at 18, sold at 28 and rebought at about the same price after a dip).  The stock has some big swings - either stay put, if you have the nerve or sell on big gain days (I am in a hole and cannot risk losing a big gift like this)!.

Volume has been either huge or average.

I think this one will gain big momentum, but is due for a breather at the moment.

Patents do not guarantee that they will make money, but as new innovative uses for spintronics emerge,  and new deals made, this stock will soar.

Productivity decreased and wages increased, not a rational combination.  Fears of inflation loom and the markets dropped.  The big oil find in the Gulf of Mexico (which should no impact our reserves for years) further gave reason for oil and energy stocks to fall.

Plastic pipe manufacturer, PWEI, got a good article in IBD today, but fell with much of the rest of the market.

NVEC which shot up 5 on Tuesday, hit 38 today b4 falling back.  Here are the retracement numbers if you are interested:

MED got killed over the weekend as Barron's said the stock was worth less than 9.  I sold my few shares as soon as I saw the news as that was a self-fulfilling prophecy.  FNSR also took a huge dive today and caused my profits in that one to vanish.  And the lower oil prices have taken their toll on BQI, DK and ALY.

One stock that had an incredible run the past few days is SYX.  They are a marketer of desktop computers that had a huge profit surge this past quarter.

I was looking for more positive economic news to continue yesterday's rally.  There is a lot of fear and unresolved anger around as the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks approaches.  This might put a damper on investing, and maybe rightly so.  The terrorist attacks showed us how vulnerable the world is, and many people are still smarting from the hits their investment portfolios took at that time.

I guess this one does not take much of a breather.  Did a 61% pull back on big vol and then bounced like a ball.

I bought it back, saved hardly a buck.  Might as well stay for the ride to 40.

This is the exciting momo stock of the mo!  There is nothing like it.  It is behaving the same way it did when it hit 60 a few years ago!
