I don't understand.  Is this stock less than a penny?  I don't even know how to enter an order on such a small amount - how much = $2000?

I am sure this is a pump. I read that GWGO will not verify the release. Once again trades don't get much more risky then this. The reward could be so sweet though. Anyways I am not putting in more then 2500$ of my cash into this thing just in case.

I would start with 500-1000. Add when you are already banked on dips. That is how I usually try to do it with OTC

assuming current pps of 0.0013, $2000 would buy you about 1,538,461 shares.  so careful, some brokerages charge you by the number of shares.

Look at the following yahoo article. Supposedly they gave a dividend in December for 1.8 cents per share.  Is that right?

This will tank hard if the rumor is not true, but I think it's worth the risk at his point for a couple hundred bucks.  I am just buying 200,000 shares though, think if it as a trip to Vegas.  Roll them dice! 8)

I never did a penny stock before.  I just bought 500,000 at .0013 = $650.00.

Hey, anybody else have comments on this stock?

I sold when I found out it was a pump and dump.  I am suspicious that a Portuguese bank would actually pay $.05/share for this company.  I figure if this does make another run, there is still plenty of green to be made.   >:D

brandyjoco

I guess I might sit on the $650.  It is pretty interesting - there is a conglomeration of gold mining companies that seem to have created a 'holding' company which will be listed on the London stock exchange in a few weeks. They own the mineral rights to major land accumation that contains gold and other minerals.  It is an interesting concept. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

Great West Gold, Inc. - Update on Purported Takeover Bid

By BusinessWire
Last Update: 3/2/2006 5:34:01 AM Data provided by

NEW YORK, Mar 02, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Great West Gold, Inc. (GWGO) announced on March 1, 2006 after it had been alerted by a substantial number of shareholders, to a Press Release in respect of a purported takeover of Great West Gold, Inc. by Banco Comercial Portugues (BCP).

Great West Gold, Inc. wishes to stress that it has no proof of this takeover bid being genuine nor has the Company received any communication from Banco Comercial Portugues (BCP) in respect hereof. Great West Gold, Inc. is attempting to obtain a response from this Bank as to its intentions (if they indeed have any) in respect of Great West Gold, Inc. Great West Gold, Inc. is not taking this Takeover Bid seriously at this time primarily due to a lack of solid information and certain suspicious dealings provided to the Company by various third parties which do however, remain unsubstantiated.

Great West Gold, Inc. is at this time attempting to verify whether or not this is a real takeover offer and until such time as the Company has all of the facts, shareholders are urged to exercise caution in their dealings in their stock in the event that this Takeover Bid is not genuine; and even if it proves to be a genuine Takeover Offer, it may well not be acceptable nor of any interest to a number of substantial shareholders of Great West Gold, Inc. which means that any Takeover Bid for Great West Gold, Inc. would fail.

Furthermore, any takeover of Great West Gold, Inc. would require the consent of substantial shareholders in the Company and in particular, the consent of St James Capital Holdings, Inc. which has a substantial interest in the Company as well as a financial exposure to Great West Gold, Inc of circa US$12 million after the acquisitions that are being announced on Friday March 3, 2006. There is no guarantee that any genuine takeover offer would be accepted by these parties who are the opinion that the Company is enormously undervalued and are committed long term holders of the Company's Stock.

The Company is continuing with its Stock Distributions, Company "spin offs" and its restructuring as well as the completion of the first series of acquisitions on Friday March 3, 2006.

Statements contained in this press release, which are not historical facts, are forward-looking statements as that term is defined in the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. These forward-looking statements are based largely on the Company's expectations and are subject to a number of risks and uncertainties beyond the company's control, including but not limited to economic, competitive and other factors affecting the Company's operations, management team effectiveness, expansion strategies, available financing, market prices and recovery costs, government regulations involving the Company, facts and events not known at the time of this release, and other factors discussed in the Company's filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

These statements are not guarantees of future performance and readers are cautioned not to place undue reliance on these forward-looking statements, which speak only as of the date of this release. The Company undertakes no obligation to update publicly any forward-looking statements.
