HAHA yah lets just hope he cashed out those 6800 shares($23k) to buy his kids some new cars, and not somethin significant to do with the company.

Here is the confirmation of the sell: http://www.secform4.com/insider/showhistory.php?symbol=CTE

TA: Today CTE dropped another $.19 :-\. Partly because of the insider transaction, probably spooked some people and increased selling pressure. Im hoping the support of $2.40 remains strong.

Well we had our first good days since i brought up this stock! Michael pointed out that the CFO had sold 6400 shares on the 8th though it was actually significantly more than that which could by why there is such a large retracement. The real amount of shares sold by the CFO was 63k. Just sold at 2 different prices, and reported on different days. Price action went up $.09 on our latest session though it was on below the 60 EMA vol. CTE opened at my support of 2.40 and closed a penny less at 2.39. In at 2.66 i have a stop loss at a close below the 20 day EMA. Though La-onda being in at 3.02 i maybe consider hopping off the train if we do not have a white day on monday as it would be busting through our 3rd support line and had dropped more than 70% from the top of the rally(calclualted from where the rally started). Im hoping monday we will see some more bullish price action as others who have been watching this stock will be hopping on board due to the first white day after a major pull back, a little volume wouldn't hurt either, above average preferably ;).

Here's the sale of 63k by the CFO:

Good luck everyone,

CTE looks like it could be bottoming out and is ready for it's rally.

TA:

-MACD is flattening out from its previous decline.

-Stochastics have gone just about as low as they can go with a value of 5 last friday and have turned up for the first time since the initial breakout only to 10, but we had a black day so at least its rising at all.

-The lows of the price action seem to be hovering above the 200 EMA.

Also today CTE announced "CardioTech to Present Paper on CardioPass at I-SECT".
Which did no good for price action but they're working on something that will benefit the stock price dramatically.

Heres a snippet from the article direct from Marketwatch.com

In the presentation, Dr. Szycher will describe CardioTech's efforts to address the challenges of developing an "artificial saphenous vein" complete with living cells and collagen from the patient into a new therapeutic product. The CardioPass synthetic coronary artery bypass graft was designed to mimic the human saphenous veins in biomechanical properties. The microporosity of the polyurethane graft encourages cellular ingrowth, leading to collagenization of the synthetic structure. Any cardiothoracic surgeon should be able to implant these grafts without any additional training, since the surgical implantation protocol is identical to current procedures that have been in use for decades throughout the world. The graft is currently targeted for "no option" patients, that is, patients who have had previous failed bypass operations, and are in need of a "re-do" procedure.

Dr. Szycher commented: "This graft addresses a potential $1.5 billion per year market. Currently, no approved synthetic CABG exists in the market. All previous attempts to develop a synthetic CABG have been clinical failures. CardioTech believes that the combination of biodurable polyurethane, the physiologically-designed porosity and the compliance characteristics of CardioPass may lead to the successful development of a suitable replacement for the human saphenous vein, the current surgical gold standard."

I'll continue to hold this stock for the long haul i think we will see great things from this company for the months to come.

Nothing too exciting is going yet with CTE. Price action is stuck in a short term trading range though closing prices are increasing. Today CTE closed at its opening price of 2.40. Momentum is building and I think higher stock prices aren't too far away.

Best of luck.

CTE is building some good momentum. Price action is moving back up but were still lacking volume. Though over the course of this week i think the rising prices are gonna attract more traders/investors and increase volume as well as price action.

It appears CTE is bouncing off it's 50 DMA.  Here's the chart.  Finanicals look pretty good.

Investing is all about timing and I certainly got the timing wrong with Cardiotech.

Now that doesn't mean that this is going to be a bad investment. On the contrary CTE seems to ba a great investment (even though it would have been better had I bought now!).

Their money making business, medical devices is performing nicely with sales up 17% but more importantly it seems from the CC that we can expect approval from EU of clinical trials of Cardiopass in November/December and maybe Stent approval in November/December.

All Brazilian patients are still in good health and for every month that pass this makes CTE's business case even stronger.

So I am all in all a very happy shareholder in CTE (just need to work on the timingĀ  ???)

Mike

Hi Michael,

My timing is even more wrong than yours but I am still holding.  I think it's a good investment and I am holding and perhaps add a bit more.

With the NASDAQ at a 4.5 year high, CTE can't help but join the rally.  Here's a chart update.

Michael

It seems like CTE has start to move under islightly increased volume on the pending news.

It is difficult to understand why they need to run all these trials having in mind that they already have several patients going strong for several years and that we are talking about the last option but that is the rule of the game!

nice day for CTE:

poorman1

I see this going much higher based on fundamentals.  Especially if CTE posts a small profit, which I fully expect.  The net loss has decreased in each of the past 4 quarters.  They are on the brink of profitability and have cash to sustain operations.
