more dilution is all it is

here is to hopeing this uptrend can continue regardless

can you explain that statement doyer?  why are you considering a dividend payment a dilution?  they are not issuing more shares...

**edit... hmm i see what you mean, 1 share for every 200 to holders of the stock.. doesnt sound that bad(maybe even good.. like a split that doesnt affect the price), wonder how it will affect the stock

yes, and they did the same thing awhile back around .2 a share aswell

Looking at the two previous stock splits this company has had, it looks the the split drives the price up before hand, and after the split the stock drops substantially.  I'm not EliteG so take my observations for what they're worth.

I also have a general question.  When I check MBAH on Scottrade, the bid is .051 and the ask is .057.  Does this mean there was a large sell-off after hours, or is the information just faulty (as it often is for Scottrade on small stocks)?

If what you say is true about the previous "dividends" driving up the price beforehand and then dropping after, then we have more than a month of rise left  ;) since dividend is close to end of November..

A dividend like that I think would have to drop the price after or the market cap would rise dramatically... not a fundamental guy but i believe mkt cap = outstanding shares * price

unless perhaps this is a good way for a big investor to pick up shares quietly before a news item(just some speculation) right after a dividend.

the after hours bid/ask on most stocks is usually garbage but I find this is especially so on the OTCBB market.  So no worries.

Great day and a great close  8) MBAH rockin!

redmercury

I have been watching MBAH for over a year, having been in for the run a year ago. Some answers to a few of the questions that have been posed on this board:

No one really trades MBAH outside the normal trading hours. There were a few hundred thousand shares that were bought at the ask today towards the close-the MM's shifted up, and the buyer chased the ask up to 5.7 cents. However, the MM who has been sitting on the bid most of the day, NITE, did not follow the ask. If I remember correctly, the B/A at close was 54/57, but NITE shifted down to 5.1 shortly after close. NITE has been buying blocks at the bid for a couple of weeks, and has been willing to make the seller chase the bid, provided other MM's stay out of the way. So that explains the B/A spread a/h. Tomorrow I expect MM's to start the day at 54/55 or so, unless many buy orders are placed prior to the market opening.

During the last run, there was a large trading group pumping the stock into high heaven. The fellows convinced a bunch of naive investors to order stock certificates in order to cut down MM shorting, among other tactics used by the trading group to prop up the price as their shares were dumped. A lot of the dumping occurred around the date of the dividend, so the price sagged from there as the trading group dumped and stopped pumping.
Many have speculated there have been large short positions over the past few months that precipitated the drop seen over said time period. Perhaps management has heard shareholder concerns and decided to act on them. Personally, I believe any short positions were covered at the triple bottom. However, it appears less gimmicky as it falls in the same time period of the last dividend, so it may simply be a continuation of a yearly tradition-no harm in that.

EliteG: Yes, the market cap = #of shares*price/per share. However, the net increase in shares is only .5%, so there should not be a fundamental change of note to accommodate the increase in shares, given the stock's pattern of +/-10% swings during a given trading day.  Also, I believe that big investors made their bets during the last few months. If you've been watching the stock minute-to-minute, you have seen how tightly shares are held down, given the large increases in price on any buying interest.

I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on your plans of trading MBAH. If this run is anything like last year's, I would not be able to trade it. I use ameritrade and have to wait 5 days per flip. Last year, every consolidation period during the mega-run lasted, at most, 3 days.

I wasn't watching the lvl 2 on MBAH at the close but this seems like common MM behavior.  Nevertheless it makes the chart look hot.. and traders may be watching very closely.

Man 5 days for a flip?  Ouch.

I bought in @ .32 on 9/23, sold out and then bought back in and am up around 55% on the trade.  I rarely hold a penny for so long but I felt gmarc really brought this up at the perfect moment(applaud again, thx Julia).  If you look on page 1 of this thread I drew up the downward channel on some charts... and then wham it was broken that day, very nice timing.   8)

I always sell in parts so I will probably sell a part on our super mega volume day which I think is comin up(tomorrow we may get it as we race to the 200 like hawkeye Setravis pointed out  ;))..  I could not recommend an entry till MBAH consolidates and breaks with volume again since I am a technical/momentum trader unless you feel comfortable buying on a pullback to the 20 ema.

I see what you pointed out about this run being similar to the one almost exactly a year ago.  Interesting.. definately something to watch.

Thanks Elite! I may have brought it up but, once i got the thumbs up from u and Setravis, that's all i needed to jump in, so THANK YOU GUYS!! ;D Actually, almost sold it recently as I bought it at .38...but Setravis told me to hold...So, I held! And now I am happy!! Thanks Setravis!

But, just to get this clear, u expect  a run tomorrow perhaps...maybe to .80 ish (200 MA)..then it will drop and consolidate for a day to a week or so(G2), then it may turn into a G-3 and blow...to at least 100% from .32 approximately...am i getting this right?

Hope u recovered completely from your flu/cold and are feeling 100% now! :)

Thanks very much and good luck to everyone ;D

julia

eliteG

woops I meant .032 was my buy area  :) i think that might clear up some confusion Julia  ;) :D

feel much better thanks, glad setravis kept u in  ;D

gmarc66

Hi Elite!

Glad to hear u r feeling better ;)

No, actually..i didnt even notice the missing zero...i know i often do that with sub-pennies when I'm writing about them, lets pretend in my post i did include the zeros and the prices were in line with current price zones, ...so the questions are still the same.

Is it correct what i was questioning? (assuming the zeros are there, just an oversight on my part as well)?

thanks!!
hey did u know that david is looking at MBAH as a 3sf portfolio pick ;D

julia

Good morning gmarc  :)

QuoteBut, just to get this clear, u expect  a run tomorrow perhaps...maybe to .80 ish (200 MA)

yes.. I know thats a big gain but I would not be surprised with action like that.. its sort of like the ultimate destination for MBAH and perhaps just the start of a journey.

Quote..then it will drop and consolidate for a day to a week or so(G2), then it may turn into a G-3 and blow...to at least 100% from .32 approximately...am i getting this right?

Never said that but it would be really cool to see a similar run as last year around this time(or even half or a quarter of that run :D)

Quotehey did u know that david is looking at MBAH as a 3sf portfolio pick  ;D

that is big news  ;D that makes you think .08 is a pretty low target  :D

eliteG

so anyone else doin the 3 white candle higher volume happy dance?

MBAH kick some @$$!  :o

gmarc66

I'm dancing right beside you elite!!!

Do you think its safe to pick up more at this point?

thanks

julia

eliteG

 ;)

Well I believe David added it today so one could definately say yes.. since my time horizon is different I could not enter here.  I am not willing to stay with a penny for as long as David plays because I play with a higher % of my portfolio.  For me I would need another consolidation and a break of that to enter again.

So it depends upon your time frame.

Good Trading and Dancing  :D

setravis
