Don't know who first posted MEMY buy congrats to all contributing on it. Due to your posts I bought on the break of $2. The insider vol is extreme and todays action confirms. Just trying to calculate if this is a day trade or if the move will sustain, will see how the day progresses

Hey wrangler...ya..i should have posted the news here too..i ended posting it on stock picks becasue i wanted everyone to see it...didn't want anyone to miss out on it.
Did you get in...I didn't..didn't have any funds...now,  i do as i just sold a couple of stocks at a loss..but, not sure if i will jump in..although looks great so far.

I didn't get in on the run either.My funds is already tied up to till I make a sell.Look at the stock I'm suggesting on penny stock picks and will also pick one tonight.Check both of them out.

Sorry guys for all the confusion .

I originally started MEMY in stock talking becasue I just wanted some feedback first, as it wasn't a buy consideration yet...as wasn't sure what was going on.

So, this morning i saw premarket movement and wanted to be quick and post it to make sure i gave everyone a chance to see it ....to  give them heads up as the stock talking thread may not be seen by everyone early enough...and therefore possiblly losing the opportunity to get in before prices jumped too much.

But, glad some of you got in!!!

Thanks Aussie for  having the threads amalgamated...i was going to get to that..just got busy this morning...thats why the frantic posting on MEMY....so, thats my story!!!

Memory Pharmaceuticals Corporation (MEMY). The Company's principal activities are to research and develop innovative drug candidates. (MEMY) rose 38 cents, or 21% to $2.21 after the company reported progress in its in-research development of a treatment for Alzheimer's. The Montvale, N.J. company said it expects to commence treating patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease in a Phase 2a clinical trial over the next several weeks after completing the dosing portion of a safety and tolerability study of its MEM 1003 drug. MEM 1003 works by reestablishing normal levels of calcium in patients affected by the neurogenerative disorder leading to an improvement in cognition and a reduction in the progression of the disease.»

There were some more news, but this was the one that put the stock in motion. The market cap is just $45.86M and the chart shows a bottom is in place:

Sept 21 (Reuters) - Memory Pharmaceuticals Corp. (MEMY.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Wednesday said it would sell about 16.1 million newly issued shares for $1.90 a share in a private placement.
In a press note the company said it would also issue warrants to purchase about 5.6 million additional shares at an exercise price of $2.22 a share.

The Montvale, New Jersey-based company said it would raise about $31 million through the program, which was expected to close on Sept. 23.

I stopped out for 10% day trade gain, during the afternoon weakness, will watch Tuesday to see if I'll get back in. Insider vol says something big is cooking behind the scenes
