Advanced Communications Announces Another Record-Breaking Month for Subsidiary Cyber-Test
Tuesday September 27, 8:30 am ET

NEW YORK, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Advanced Communications Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ADVC - News), a diversified New York-based holding company that specializes in the technology aftermarket service and supply chain known as reverse logistics, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Cyber-Test, a Florida-based electronic equipment repair company, reported record-breaking revenue for August that exceeded $840,000 compared to $610,000 for the same month in 2004.

"Our fiscal year-to-date sales are already over $1.5 million, which covers just July and August," said Lisa Welton, president of Cyber-Test. "We generated more than $840,000 in sales last month, making August by far Cyber- Test's most successful revenue-producing month in the company's history. Our business is increasing, a result of the value that technology products have in the daily lives of our customers, and their need to protect the investment they have made in these products."

Wayne Danson, president and chief executive officer of Advanced Communications, said, "The record-breaking results for August demonstrate Cyber-Test's continuing success and enormous growth potential. For example, Cyber-Test's revenue for July and August was $1.51 million compared to $1.23 million for the same period last year, or an increase of 23%."

Cushman & Wakefield, the company's corporate real estate advisor, is actively pursuing options for an expanded facility to meet the product repair and service demands of Cyber-Test's customers. Cyber-Test's electronic repair business has grown by over 30% since Advanced Communications acquired it in June 2004, and as the market for repair and exchange through extended service contracts sold by retail stores, manufacturers and other resellers continues to grow.

The reverse logistics industry that Advanced Communications seeks to become a leader in is, according to D.F. Blumberg & Associates in a report published earlier this year, a $60 billion U.S. technology aftermarket services industry, which is highly fragmented and ripe for consolidation. It encompasses all operations relating to the reuse of products and materials, or the collection and disassembling process of used products and product parts, in order to ensure an environmentally friendly recovery. The reverse logistics industry has seen a dramatic increase in demand for services such as technical support, repair, asset recovery, end-of-life product management, disposal and recycling. This rapidly emerging market is a result of environmental regulations, outsourcing trends and accelerating product lifecycles across numerous technologies. Advanced Communications believes it will be well-positioned to effectively consolidate this market.

Apparently, you were right on! This turned out to be a 10 bagger from the price you mentioned...did you ever buyinto this??

Anyways, this was brought to my attention a few days back by another member and was asked to comment on it (on Tuesday after close)....that was when the stock hit the 20 MA at $0.0038 and fell back to close at around $0.0033. That was 2 days ago. My response:

"lalitha

ADVC looks good, wait fo the indicators to turn back up, and i also think the price might test 50 MA at $0.002 before anothe move up..."

Good thing this did not break through 0.003, hecne, 50 MA was not tested, instead, today morning, news was released and this thing gapped up big time from yesterdays close of $0.0037 to an open at $0.0043 and kept pushing higher till $0.0049. I was watching all time, but did not get in. It closed the day at $0.0041 with a low of $0.004...and guess what, the 20 MA which was resistance until a few days back is right now at suppoert of $0.004.

My take on this is: The MACD is looking ready to plogh back into positive zone and the stochastics have changed direction from the oversold region....very good indicators IMO...also, the RSI is going back up today.

even though the close was not encouraging considering the open and high of day, I believe it is trying to close the gap at $0.0037...I think there may be a quick hammer formed intraday tomorrow with low at around the $0.0037-0.0038 mark and this will go back up and in the rnext week or so, may very well test the recent high at $0.008.

all of the above from pure chart action, no fundamentals....

good luck to those in this...I will be watching closely tomorrow to see what happens.  ;)
Long term investments are short-term investments that have gone wrong.
