Learning how 3SOF identifies trades

Someone on this board recently asked how to scan for breakouts. This is an answer. I'm posting it separately because it might be of interest to all.

All of the buys below were taken from the "closed trades" list here at 3 stocks on fire. All of them were preceded by a set-up consisting of 4 elements on the day before the trade:

1. ADX rising
2. close > BB(20)
3. range expansion
4. volume spike
