Some chatter around BFLY this week.
Keep it on the radar. Tiny float.
Just one opinion, do the research

Anything new on BFLY?
Stock hit 52-week low on 12/13...

I've been waiting a long, long time for this to happen.  $1.00 looks like a bargain, but no one knows what sales are going to be.  Market Cap too low for sales growth, however there are preferred shares involved, so you never know.

BFLY has been hitting new 52-week low for the past 4 days. Sure it sounds like a deal now but it's not a very good sign...
On Dec.6, the company announced sales up 60%, the stock has been down to 1.00-1.05 from 1.50 since then.

I would not worry at all, in fact I would suggest buying more at this level.  Value investors love to find stocks that perform miserably, whereas the underline business is doing just the opposite.  The masses think that a declining stock price indicates trouble and a rising stock price means the company is doing better.  A perfect situation is buying an increasingly well performing business with a terribly low stock price.

Sales growth has been very strong, Net Tangible Assets are up and the BlueFly brand is becoming increasingly noticed by mainstream consumers.  We may never see $.97 again in 2006, but if we do you can be sure I'll be on the bid.

Check out YAKC and CULS too.

Overly optimistic,

Bluefly Estimates Fourth Quarter 2005 Net Sales Will Increase at Least 45%
Monday January 9, 4:44 pm ET

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 2006--Bluefly, Inc. (NASDAQ SmallCap: BFLY - News), a leading online retailer of designer brands, fashion trends, and superior value (www.bluefly.com), announced today that based on preliminary estimates, it expects its net sales for the fourth quarter of 2005 will increase at least 45% compared to fourth quarter 2004. This would result in a full-year increase in net sales of approximately 34%.

The Company expects to release the full results of the fourth quarter 2005 and the full year 2005 the week of February 20, 2006.

The Company announced these results in advance of its presentations at SG Cowen & Co. Fourth Annual Consumer Conference and Eighth Annual ICR XChange Conference, both being held later this week.

As previously announced, the Company will no longer report monthly sales in 2006 but rather report sales on a quarterly basis.

BFLY recently announced that it will report 4Q 2006 revenues at least 45% higher than 4Q 2004 and about 34% year/year revenue increase.

http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060109/20060109006012.html?.v=1

What does this mean?

- 4Q 2006 revenues will be about $21M compared to $14.5M in 4Q 2005

- With a gross marging of about 39%, the net profit for the quarter will increase from$5.9M in 4Q 2005 to about $8.3M in 4Q 2006

- The increased marketing costs for 4Q 2006 will increase the SG&A costs from about $5.7M in 4Q 2005 to about $6.6M in 4Q 2006.

- This means that operating income will likely increase from $136K in 4Q 2005 to $1.7M in 4Q 2006.

- The bottom line is that BFLY might record its FIRST PROFITABLE QUARTER EVER!!

The future certainly looks bright for BFLY...specially if one accumulates at current prices.

Other Highlights:

- BFLY's largest institutional holder is The Soros Fund Management Inc. (controlled by billionaire George Soros) with 31% ownership. Overall, institutions own 41% of the float

- Insiders own 32% of the common stock.

- BFLY currently has less than 18M outstanding shares.

- There are about 5M shares in the public float.

- With the $59M 2006 revenues soon-to-be-announced, BFLY is trading at a ridiculous 0.33 P/S ratio

- BFLY has little over $5 in cash, no long-term debt, and about $90/share in shareholders' equity.

I believe that BFLY will be abig gainer in Frebruary 2006 and beyond. Its improved business plan is showing accelerated traction. Billionaire George Soros thinks BFLY is a good investment...he did not become a billionaire investing in money-losing ventures.

I suggest that you take the time to listen BFLY's recent presentation at a recent incestors' conference to get a better idea about the shorty and long-term prospects for this company on the move:

My target: $1.5+ after 4Q 2005 and FY 2005 earnings in February 2006.

This is ready imo,it just broke a falling wedge that formed over the last month and half on the daily chart, along with a positive macd divergence from the start of Jan 06.I think it could go on up from here, taking out one moving avg at a time.

traderjbr

Starting to take out a few moving avg's,its cleared the 5,13,20 EMA's.This could be smooth sailing from here once the 50 day is penetrated at 1.16.Good upside potential here.

These recent publications mention BFLY and the momentum it's gaining as a favorite place to shop for upscale and on-the-go professional/busy women. The first link lists Bluefly as the 2nd favorite momen's place to shop..ahead of giants like Neiman Marcus, Urban Outfiters, and others!!

The following link highlights the fact that BFLY is ahead of the game when it comes to e-Commerce amongst retailers:
