Gzfx - Stage 2 Perhaps

A Penny Stocks Life or Market Cycles

Stage 1 - Accumulation. Stock is quiet, trading sideways and without a lot of volatility. Most everyone ignores the stock because it has no sizzle. Insiders hold large blocks of stock and quietly gear up for the distribution.

Stage 2 - Breakout. Volume jumps up, psychological barriers are broken. Insiders begin to tell their friends of upcoming significant fundamental change. Pros take notice and buy the stock on the coat tails of the well informed. The public ignores it because they have not read about the company in the paper yet. It must be a scam.

Stage 3 - Uptrend. As a larger audience learns of the company and its promise, more buying comes in to the stock and it begins to climb. Pros begin to sell, but slowly. Average investor begins to buy.

Stage 4 - Pullback. The stock has gone up too fast, and some profit taking arrives. The jumpy investor who got the entry timing right but lacks confidence in his or her decision sells the stock with a small profit, and smiles in the mirror. The Pro holds on, Average Investor looks through the newspaper to find justification for ownership of the shares.

Stage 5 - Resumption of the Uptrend. The pull back is short lived, and the stock bounces and continues higher. The wannabe regrets the sell, but provides self counsel on the merit of making a profit, albeit a small one. The Pro might sell a little bit more, but still holds the majority of the original position. The Average Investor is getting excited now, and thinks about what could have been if only he had bought when he first noticed the stock.

Stage 6 - Exhaustion of the Uptrend. The media takes notice, and communicates the company's merits to the masses. The masses buy the stock, and it goes up sharply with strong volume. The Pros sell with enthusiasm. The Average Investor owns it now, and is telling everyone who will listen. The wannabe Pro jumps back on, after all, he was smart enough to buy it when the trend started, so he knows the stock well. Will hope make it go higher?

Stage 7 - Gravity Works. Pro selling begins to weigh on the uptrend, and the stock fails to go higher despite high volumes. The stock starts to go down instead of up, and the Pro is almost sold out. The Average Investor continues to cheer lead, hoping to rally support. The wannabe ignores what the market is telling him, taking a loss is too painful to consider. The company is featured on the cover of a magazine.

Stage 8 - The Second Guess. The stock bounces and starts to go back up. The wannabe Pro averages down while the Average Investor gets back to advising friends of his stock picking acumen. Pros sell their remaining holdings and begin to look for another deal to play, or perhaps start short selling the stock.

Stage 9 - Out of Gas. The bounce is a fake out, and the stock moves lower again. The public own this stock, and they have no more power to buy. The Pro are making money on the short sales now, but are despised by the masses. Calls for short selling to be made illegal are made by the Average Investor, after all, the short sellers are the demons causing the sell off.

Stage 10 - Dead Cat Bounce. The Average Investor and the wannabe Pro have no pain tolerance left, and finally sell for a big loss. The short selling Pros are the only buyers to take the share off their hands, and provide the needed liquidity. The stock bounces, and some short term traders make a quick profit. The Average Investor either swears to never buy a stock again, or tells lively stories over drinks about the one that could have been.

Stage 11 - Post Mortem. Pros have forgot about the stock and are considering carpet samples for their new home in Florida. Average Investor continues to follow the company and buys loads of cheap stock to try and overcome the regrettable loss.

The stock market is mean. You can be a good analyst, but if you can't overcome the psychological traps of trading, you will do what the crowd does. To be successful, you have be one step ahead of the crowd, and trade with unemotional discipline. There are strategies to take advantage of each stage of the market cycle that can be applied just by looking at a stock chart. They just require a bit of knowledge.

Proof enough for me

If this thing continues to be promoted properly and Circuit City continues its partnership I feel this company could make some serious noise. At my aunts for thanksgiving I told all the younger kids there about GameznFlix. No lie they ran into the other room and asked their fathers/mothers if they could dump Netflix and switch to GameznFlix. Their parents seemed shocked that you could get movies AND games for less money than Netflix charges. They all wrote down the website. Then after dinner while I was outside enjoying a coffee two of the fathers came up to me and said my mother told them I invested in the stock. When I told them it was under 2 cents they damn near shat themselves. They took down the ticker symbol and said they would be buying.

Now that is just one experience from one day. I'm sure conversations like that are taking place all over. If Circuit City and GameznFlix do this right they could have a HUGE winner here in my opinion.

Wow what a day for GZFX!!!

50 MA crossed the 200 MA, the "Golden Cross"!!!

With $0.0218 close and $0.0175 - $0.0177 buy in, that's about $0.004 x 1 million shares = $4,000+ gain!!!  Wow!!!

With short trading day after Thanksgiving, today's volume activity was not representative of all the traders/investors that were away from their computers/offices.  Monday looks to be very exciting for GZFX!

Good trading!

P.S. - We got 12 hour drive back home so I may not post until Saturday evening.
Have a nice weekend!

This is the new Circuit City weekly ad.  As you can see, GameZnFlix is now showing on Games (page 34) and DVDs (page 38)!  This exposure will continue "week after week" and "month after month" promoting GameZnFlix on a national level and GameZnFlix subscription will only increase.

GZFX moved up from 7 to 5 on Cnet's most searched term!

Notice that XBOX 360 is the "number one" searched term!

This indicates Microsoft wanting to "saturate" the gaming market with XBOX 360 to create a "huge" demand pool for XBOX 360 games.  With over 5.5 million consoles to be sold by June 2006 now, XBOX 360 already beat Sony PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Revolution to the market by "monopolizing" this holiday season!!!  Nice move on Microsoft.

Think about this.  As each new console gaming units gets launched, online game rental services like GameZnFlix only stand to benefit as the cost of each game is $50 - $60!!!  It will be very apparent to parents/gamers that annually, renting console games is "cheaper" than buying just a few games each year.

Microsoft loses money on each Xbox
By Reuters
Published: November 24, 2005, 8:20 AM PST

The cost of building a Microsoft Xbox 360 video game console is nearly 40 percent higher than the retail price, technology and microchip research company iSuppli said on Wednesday.

The firm estimated the total cost to manufacture and test a premium Xbox 360, the software giant's sleek and powerful new gaming machine, which debuted on Tuesday, was $552.27, compared with its retail price of $399.

Microsoft aims to sell about 5.5 million premium and lower-priced basic Xbox 360 units by the end of June. The machine will compete with the PlayStation 3 from Sony and Nintendo's Revolution, each due out in 2006.

Console makers have historically subsidized manufacturing costs by creating and selling their own video games and by collecting fees from publishers who make titles for their systems. Several new Xbox 360 games are priced as high as $60.

... The release of those machines is expected to reignite hardware sales growth. Crotty said iSuppli is forecasting 38.5 million video game consoles sold next year, up from 28.5 million in 2005.

Resistance is Futile

GZFX On NEW GROUND with Technical Trend Confirmations

Before Monday's Open, a recap of technical events behind the stock may offer some perspective on the play unfolding...

Friday was an important day for GZFX. Validation of the direction the stock is taking came in on increased momentum, depth, strength, and continuing build out on investor interest during what can sometimes be a terrible day for equities, while the volume was a mere 80MM on a short trading session.

I believe GZFX, the stock, entered a new era on Friday.

It is now a getting ready to range more freely. Resistance ahead is spotty, and the convergence (at $0.035 - 0.05) between the Ascending Channel mid-line and the PPS hugging the Lower Pitchfork Tine offers us a chance to assess the stock's strength at RRR. The closer we get to this point in time and space the more exciting this play gets. I expect the stock to fully reveal itself at this juncture, technically speaking.

I think lancebps hit it on the head earlier today when he said that GZFX could quite possibly be the entity that single-handedly redefines the penny stock market for the Fall season, bringing it back to life.

Support for the above notions is found in the following:

RSI CONFIRMED Friday that it is very happy in the Power Zone, grinding it out in the Plus70 area, driving this stock forward. This is an environment that can make or break a stock, where only the fittest survive. Look closely at what is happening to RSI on GZFX. And look also at the weekly RSI... outstanding crossover here.

UltOSc best describes an indicator's Investor Sentiment. It never stays at 70 for long. If a stock is strong, UltOsc will move through a series of mild retracements bouncing along the underside of 70, strengthening, and pushing off again, all while respecting an ever rising trend line. This activity takes place in conjunction with an RSI+70 feature, and it is happening to GZFX as we speak.

ADI is bouncing off the ADX trend Line, now in the Plus40 Zone, the Power Trend Trampoline.

OBV Confirmed a Trend Line that is singularly aggressive, remarkable in the attack. Volume, and sister OBV, are one of the two main stories behind this play. The indicator is not shy in its message: OUTTA MY WAY!

ChiOsc is the other half of the story here, and also Confirmed a Trend Line Friday which is just beautiful to observe. Volume is in, and so is da money. And, it's sticking.

Williams%R signalled that it is more than willing to go into battle again, and will cross up into the Power Zone early Monday morning coming, giving us a sustained run from here into uncharted territory.

The Accumulation/Distribution Line has now confirmed it's own Trend up over the last few sessions. Friday nailed it. Look at that long, bellying attitude of the trend line..... very strong, very healthy.

MACD exhorts all of this in one simple indicator. And that indicator is on a powerful upsurge that is nothing short of remarkable.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All of the above points to the distinct possibility that new territory for GZFX is in the offing. It is becoming plausible now that the stock, once confronting the aforementioned congestion at 0.035- 0.05, will punch up sharply from there, reaffirm that breakout point briefly, and assault much higher PPS levels before the New Year, if events unfold the way they are indicating they may.
