Yesterday GZFX "bottomed" at the trendline and rebounded, which was a very good indicator.  If the chart trend and TA RSI indicators are reflective of today's activity, we should see continued rebound activity, supplemented with bullish European and US market gains.

Thank you livelife for your posts and analysis. Otherwise it would have been very hard to hold this the past 3 days.

Hi LL,

Which site did you go to find out quotes/charts on other world market (e.g. GZFX in Berlin) and how did you know that GZFX was offered at other markets and which markets?

Thanks,

Wayne

lalitha0 and rurouni,  thanks for your comments.

toysrusucks provided the link from Yahoo MB for GameZnFlix being traded in the European markets.  BTW, Netflix and many other stocks are also traded on the European, Asian and other world markets:

Finally!  Here's the PR for the GameZnFlix CEO interview with wallst.net.  (Better late than never!  If PR was released Mon-Wed, things may have been different.  Still good news for GZFX)  ;)

As usual, great infos and thanks again LL.

Hi All,

I have been learning a lot of things through this great site (3SOF) and I would like to thanks all the generous traders (LL, Fousc, Richard, etc) that are willing to take the time to explain their TA.

Since I have been watching LL and a few other traders on their comments, I think I have a good picture of when to sell.

However, I am still a little grey on WHAT TO BUY (WHY THAT STOCK IS ATTRACTIVE TO YOU) and WHEN TO BUY (HOW DO YOU CALCULATE AT WHAT PRICE WOULD YOU CONSIDER THE STOCK IS REASONABLE).  How would you judge a good stock?

First a stock must have a good volume trading or building.  How would you determine if the price is underpriced or overpriced (P/E ratio) or would you not care since you are stricly concern only to technical indicators and patterns?

Many thanks in advance!

rurouni,

Same question has been asked by several people (newbies to stock trading) I am working with.  What I decided to do was develop a "template" for them to use to check off if a particular stock meets the "criteria" for buying.  I will also post stock selection process.

I will post the template tomorrow, I am rewriting the "knowledge base" to cater to mostly "newbies" and swing/trend trading, not daytrading.  I am doing my first "class" tomorrow afternoon in person and I will use the "Knowledge base" posts as my lesson plan.

Sorry about the stock buying "template" and class info.  Our son was sick all weekend and the class had to be cancelled.  I think I am beginning to be get what he has  :-\ and trying not to be sick also.

I didn't spend anytime this weekend on 3SOF or stock trading.

I will post the info on the "knowledge base" as I get a chance.

Thanks noaholiva for the comparison info below from Yahoo MB - I think people can see that GameZnFlix has a very strong "competitive" position against two "top" DVD/game renters, Netflix (DVD only) and Gamefly (games only).

With GameZnFlix's free 14 day trial, many that I know are trying GameZnFlix.  So far, their experience has been good (typically receiving DVDs/games in about 2 days) and consider this "acceptable" since they had problem getting new releases and their choice of movies in their que with Netflix.  Being able to rent games for their kids is a bonus, and they don't plan on spending money on new games for their kids.   ;)

For long-term, I believe GameZnFlix has a good shot at increasing subcriptions significantly to be more than profittable (I am buying GZFX for my Roth IRA account to replace some of HANS).  Short-term stock price gain/loss, now that's another story, and at this point I can't say, but I will have to let the market dictate that in the coming weeks.

With my family finally in bed, I started back on my GZFX research.  I decided to go to the source and check out GameZnFlix website knowledge base.  My findings are very "illuminating!"

Enjoy!  (I posted the corresponding graphics below)

Here's the link to knowledge base:  http://www.gameznflix.com/support/categorized.asp

This is a recent post (Dec 2 2005) on GameZnFlix knowledge base asking why some Circuit City stores are unaware of GameZnFlix (see "GZFX and Circuit City"):

I did not know Circuit City sent out 50,000,000 flyers out each week!!!  = WOW =

http://www.gameznflix.com/support/issue_view.asp?ID=14909

I had to smile when I read this on gameznflix website asking if GameZnFlix stock price will go up (see "GZFX stock price"):
http://www.gameznflix.com/support/issue_view.asp?ID=13369

The fact that GameZnFlix responded to the this question asking for the outstanding share information is positive, in my opinion (see "GZFX outstanding shares"):

This question is regarding how shares are sold (see "GZFX new shares"):

Thanks coingeek for the post from Raging Bull MB:

Msg. 174870 of 174920

I have been visiting the stores near me sinced Nov 1st. My visit to the CC closest to me yesterday is all I needed to convince me that I've got something here, and to wait out all of this MM baloney.

I visit these stores regularly so I can "monitor" my investment. I have had some concern in the past because initially the DVD jackets didn't seem to be moving that fast. (Of course, you never really know how much back stock they have either.)

The store I visited yesterday has two separate displays of the GZFX DVD jackets. One is located near the main aisle at the beginning of the DVD section, the other is an endcap display in the middle of the section. As I walked down the main aisle, I came upon the GZFX display and couldn't believe it. It was wiped out. HOLY CRAP! There were only a couple of DVD jackets left on this display. Just last week, this display was packed full. So I immediately went to the endcap display. It too was well depleted (however there were still a handful left here.) It is obviuos to me that these things are moving.

Next, as I always do, I singled out a salesperson to ask him about the promotion. (I do this so I can get a random sample of their knowledge.) Once again I was not disappointed. He knew the program to the T, and was pumping it to me with enthusiasm. This is exactly what my first report said I felt they needed to do. So I asked him, "do you get some kind of incentive for selling this?" He wouldn't answer me directly, but said, "Every salesperson here has be instructed to suggest it to every customer".

BINGO! That's all I needed to hear. There is no doubt in my mind CC is taking this seriously. And there is no doubt in my mind I won't be parting with my shares until I see how this unfolds - completely.

Good luck to all, whatever your position.
