There's more discussion on yesterday's warrants excercised by GNBT and today's 8-K release:

http://biz.yahoo.com/e/060301/gnbt8-k.html

My take is that no stock goes up forever.  They all take their breaks along the way and form new bases and resume their gain.  Profit taking brings in new buyers who will sell at even higher sell targets, and so on.

Generex as a growing small cap company is raising capital to support their operations of the company.  Short-term, this affects share prices, but long-term the capital raised will grow the company.

As I always said, if you are "uncomfortable" with a stock at any time, you can sell.

I believe GNBT has growth potential, especially due to their non-injectable insulin delivery (Oral-lyn) for diabetes, which is a huge US/world health related market.

BTW, Generex is meeting with Canada is today regarding their non-injectable insulin delivery Oral-lyn:  http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/060119/0106769.html

Repost of article link:

I have to repost this article, since I feel that this represents the future of non-injectable insulin press/media coverage.

Any reporter wanting to cover the non-injectable insulin story will have to address/mention Generex in their story because Generex is the only company (among many) that is actually MARKETING such a product!  And as a side note, they will also mention that Generex is also an Avian flu vaccine play.  = WOW =

As the word "Generex" circulates with press/media coverage and as investors watch the stock symbol GNBT scroll by on CNBC/Bloomberg/etc. as market volume gainer (as it did the last few weeks), buying interest will only increase, driving the price higher.  At $2, it's cheap.  At $5, it will be a bargain for Institutional/Mutual Fund managers.  IMHO.  ;)

Oral insulin making strides
Updated: February 25, 2006

For the first time in history, the notion that insulin cannot be given by mouth has been challenged. Generex Biotechnology reported completion of a pre-market clinical trial using a fine mist oral spray, Oral-lyn™, which allows insulin to be absorbed through the lining of the mouth. Oral-lyn™ was given as a replacement for fast-acting mealtime insulin in ten individuals with type 1 diabetes.

Results showed that over a nine-day period, subjects were able to successfully replace mealtime insulin injections with Oral-lyn™ and maintain equivalent glucose levels. In fact, a short-term marker of glucose control, fructosamine, was slightly better with the use of the oral insulin mist compared to injections. Larger studies will begin soon with the hope of eventual FDA approval on the horizon."

I Just got home, had to work late on a project at work, so I will keep it brief.

Well, gain day for GNBT of $0.10 (4.52%) with 9.3 million shares traded which is more than the 3 month average volume of 5.3 million shares.  After another morning of sell off down to $2.21, the day's open, GNBT recovered in the afternoon.  New resistance is at $2.43 with support at $2.15.  RSI is still above 70+, so I am continuing to use daily volume and price activity as my buy/hold/sell indicator.

NVAX fell all day down $0.11 (1.90%) with 9.4 million shares traded which is more than the 3 month average volume of 4.2 million shares.  New resistance is at $6.20 with support at $5.36.  There was an analyst target set some time back of $6.00.  I wonder if this set a "cap" on NVAX price.  Short-term swing trading template indicates sell.

Hi, LL

Didn't have chance earlier to say thanks for your reply. Didn't get in but will watch for "Swing Trading"

Thanks again

You are welcome lana2b,

As to SGLS, I would wait for MACD to rebound off negative territory and sell as MACD peaks with matching RSI peaking to 70+ (see chart for buy/sell points):

Bought RHEO

= update = I sold for now.  I will continue to watch for more rebounding.

For those in the "speculation" game, I also bought GZFX in anticipation of Circuit City going nationwide with GameZnFlix on March 15.

Finally.

I have been watching these two stocks for some time to see when/if they might rebound, and rebound they did today!

RHEO gained $0.37 (9.71%) with 2.6 million shares traded which is more than double the 3 month average of 1.1 million shares.  I know, I bought RHEO this morning, but sold.  But I am all smiles because GZFX gained $0.0037 (50.00%).  Yes, 50% gain in one day!

As to GZFX, nice rebound today.

GZFX closed up $0.0037 (50.00%) at $0.0111 (Yes, this stock gained 50% in one day!) with more than 424 million shares traded, which is more than 10 times the 3 month average of 36 million shares.

GZFX price fell in January-February after Circuit City extended GameZnFlix trial period to March 15.  This time, indications look good that Circuit City will go nationwide with GameZnFlix.  For those not familiar with the company, GameZnFlix rents DVD movies and video games online, like Netflix.

Even though I sold GNBT, I will continue to monitor for rebound gain activity.

Hi Livelife I was wondering if you could give me some analysis of DYMTF based on your buy/sell chart.  The RSI is approaching 80 but I am hesitant to sell.  The reason is  Big News will be out and I am wondering would that nullify the RSI.  TIA.

fill_the_gap

It was confirmed on the phone that more Circuit City locations (including Florida) just received GZFX packets.  This tells me that a cancellation is out of the question.

But do what makes you feel comfortable.  A delay is always possible.
If I had to guess, it would be 95 % that the deal happens this time around.

It is trading exactly as I expected in my posts from a month ago.

And you need to understand how big the AAFES deal will be.  It dwarfs the Circuit City deal.

The play is to get in before the gap up with a string of news, imo.
Everybody will click " buy " all at once sending GZFX soaring.

Being hesitant due to the past is understood.  Do what is comfortable for you and never second guess the decision.

Good Luck.

Just one opinion, do the research

pompano,

I pulled 2 charts for DYMTF.  If you look at the 3 month chart (sorry for the mess), RSI is certainly over 70 (actually 80).  DYMTF gained $0.10 (8.02%) today and moved 2.5 mil shares which is almost three times the 3 month average volume of 785K shares.

I also use MACD to spot my buy/sell points (BUY when MACD is bottoming and rebounding and SELL as MACD is starting to peak).  If MACD hasn't peaked yet, DYMTF may continue to gain short-term.

I also pulled the 1 year chart with weekly period (5/10 MA).  This charting gives you a "big" picture of how a stock performed over a longer period of time.  Moving day average is very bullish, but the RSI is once again approaching previous profit taking point.  If you look at the large volume points in the 1 year chart (blue arrows/lines), it corresponds with the price peaks of past year.

Yes, news/PR/patents all affect stock prices.  I would recommend you keep monitoring daily volume and price activities closely next week and watch for profit taking.

Thanks fill_the_gap for the info.  Here's the link to GZFX MB:  http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=2047.495#bot

Like RHEO ($12 to $3.50 drop), GZFX may go through an "adjustment" period where "nervous" holders may sell off to head off any potential drop.  RHEO rebounded and sold off briefly, but is back on the rebound.  Today's GZFX activity is certainly understandable after the post Jan 15 drop.

Once the "nervousness" diminishes and Circuit City going nationwide with GameZnFlix is more certain, I believe the buyers will push the price back up.  From what fill_the_gap has been posting, things are looking positive for GameZnFlix, in addition to CC going nationwide.

I am bought back in at $0.0093 range and I will hold out to allow for this "adjustment" period.  If it rebounds, I will hold.  If it approaches my buy point, I will sell.

That brings us to RHEO and GNBT.

Both rebounded well today. = dinner time= I will post back later.

Ok, I am back.  If you look at the template, RHEO looks to continue gaining.
