Good call on this one LL.

I was curious, you haven't posted on GNBT in a few days, are you still in that one?

I sold GNBT early this morning and I am 100% in GZFX.

$0.0155 and heading up with over 218 million shares traded!  We still have another hour of trading left!  How high will GZFX close today?  ;)

Wow, what a day for GZFX!

With the concern for SB-2, share price dropped to $0.0131, but GZFX made a very strong recovery and tested $0.016 and closed green at $0.0155 while trading 261 million shares!  What strength in this stock! (BTW, it was a down day for Dow and Nasdaq)  ;)

I am not sure how many of those that sold bought back at a higher price, but this is an awesome demonstration of buying pressure overwhelming the sellers.  Very nice!

With the concern for SB-2 affecting share price (and it did this morning) behind us, clear skies next week!

According to fill_the_gap, news of AAFES deal is due out soon and the new website looks very "clean and to the point!"

I am all smiles as we anticipate Monday's market open!   :D

Have a nice weekend everyone!

Howdie all,
could you explain these two accronyms  AAFES and SSB-2 ?  Thanx

I finally stopped waiting for the bottom of the gap and bought in today...  $72.50 commission on a 100,000 shares... ouch  is 5% commission standard for  these penny transactions.  Does anyone out there have a broker who provides the same low commission for any number of shares?  Fidelity charges me $8/transaction up to 1000 shares, then $.005/share up to 5% of the transaction... seems awfully pricy to me... we will see if it pays off.

Having never played a true penny before any advice on targets would be appreciated.  Do you think that .029 is too high for my first target to sell half?

LL it seems like the swing trade indicators are not sensitive enough... does your dad have some good pointers for how to pick sell and buy back point on an intra-day level...  that really seems like a key to these...  I was excited to buy the dip this am and started putting in limit orders at .0133...  only to miss all the way up to .0145 only to catch it because it dipped again...  i did not dare place  a market order since there are a few unhappy "investors" out there who paid .14 and more for GZFX and i did not want me to be one of them :)
Have a great weekend...  hope that monday repeats last monday, but i am tempering my hopes with the thoughts that with the CC partnership and the expanding business GZFX should at least doube this year!  IMHO    Cheers joe

Joet,

TDWaterhouse just 9.95 unlimited shares .... but you have to make 30 trades within 90 days to get the 9.95 commission (unlimited shares) ;)

30 trades is nothing... All you have to do is BUY, SELL, BUY, SELL until you get the 30 trades ;)

Goodluck!!

joet

Thanx Terlisa,
do you need a minimum amount in that account to get the 9.95 commission?  Do you carry multiple accounts for different trades?

I follow your posts, but ADAM sticks in my mind the most... do you still believe in their fundamentals?  It is rebounding some are you back in?  where will you re-enter?,  wondering if we have seen the bottom?

joet,

I use Scottrade and it's $7 per trade with additional commission for stocks under $1.  I am very happy with their service/speed of transactions.  Here's the link to their commission page: http://www.scottrade.com/frame_commissions.asp

SB-2 is the form GameZnFlix used to register additional shares:
http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/fetchFilingFrameset.aspx?FilingID=4311413&Type=HTML

AAFES is "Army & Air Force Exchange Service" and kinda like Walmart for the US military consumers: http://www.aafes.com/

As to ADAM, I normally recommend that you follow high volume stocks (more than 1 million shares/day) for use with the Swing Trading Template; but if you want to apply the template,  it is rebounding off MACD bottom with RSI at very low 30.  If you are looking to buy, I recommend that you look for definite rebounding indicators (continuing rise in price, volume and corresponding RSI/MACD rises).

As to Swing Trading Template, I already posted that penny stocks such as GZFX.OB should only be "speculated."  Since penny stocks are very volatile, Swing Trading Template should only be used with "trending" stocks that follow the technicals and are listed (NYSE/Nasdaq/AMEX) with high volume (at least 1 million daily volume).  And no, Swing Trading Template will not help you intraday.

I hope these answers helped.  Let me know if you need more clarification.

Perhaps fill_the_gap can provide more "expanded" post regarding the GameZnFlix and AAFES deal.  ;)

Terlisa, I will replace your rating hit by the "smiter"  :D  I am sure Ramsburg will find the smiter, like the previous times.  ;)

joet

Thanx for all of the info LL and Terlisa,  Scotttrade looks like a good deal upon a quick glance, i will have to call them with my detailed questions...

Smiters huh  ??? sounds like a spammer to me, i am learning an entire new language here :)
cheers joe

My repost from 3SOF Penny GZFX MB:
http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=2047.750

stockontop, barchart.com uses "latent" technical analysis tools and Moving Day Averages so the composite of these indicators will not be accurate for short-term trading.  I used to use barchart.com but found their indicators weren't that useful.  Now, I only use them for resistance/support. http://quotes.barchart.com/texpert.asp?sym=gzfx

That's why I developed the Short-term Swing Trading Template using more accurate technical/MA indicators.  Be sure to use the Template for high volume (at least 1 million/day) and trending stocks that are listed (NYSE/Nasdaq/AMEX).   Penny stocks are often too volatile in nature to be accurately followed technically.   ;)  Just take a look at recent GZFX activity!

I posted a blank Short-term Swing Trading Template for you to use.  You can learn more about Swing Trading and the Short/Mid-term/Rotational Templates here: (4th post from top) http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=3635.600

I want to stress this point and even include it in the short/mid-term template instructions.  To effectively swing trade, you must identify stocks that are trending with the technicals (price rise/fall cycles follow MACD/RSI/Volume cycles).

You can tell whether the stock is trending or not by looking at the chart trend.  If you look at the BUY/SELL chart below of HEB, you can clearly see that this is a trending stock because the price rise/fall cycles follow the MACD/RSI cycles very closely.  To swing trade, you follow the swing trading template and BUY (Blue points) and SELL (Red points).

The BUY points represent MACD bottoming with matching RSI bottoming AND with rebounding price.  The SELL points represent MACD peaking with matching RSI and price peaking.

Here's a sample stock chart link with MACD/RSI/Time already set for short-term swing trading: (3SOF won't let me post the modified stockchart.com link - so copy/paste the entire address below) http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?c=gzfx,uu[l,a]daclyyay[db][pb5!b20][vc60][ilb14!la12,26,9]

Since many requested the source link, I found the link to the previously posted article and posted the chart used on the article.

fill_the_gap, nice article on GameZnFlix which is worth a repost.  For those new to GameZnFlix, I would like to mention that Circuit City also partnered with a tiny new company several years ago called Netflix.   ;)

A New Partnership: Circuit City and GameZnflix
Mar 29 2006 8:07:33 pm
Stock Market Analysis by Lonny Rosenfeld

When I wrote my first article on GameZnflix (OTC BB:GZFX) last November I stated that I very rarely write about penny stocks, but I thought this one had a lot of potential. So far I have proved myself to be correct. On Friday, March 24th Circuit City (CC) announced that is will go ahead with a nationwide release of the GameZnflix movie and rental service. In the fourth calendar quarter of 2005, the two companies tested offering the GameZnFlix services at a limited number of Circuit City Superstores and online at circuitcity.com. After concluding the tests, the services will now be expanded to include Circuit City Superstores across the United States and will continue to be available nationwide on Circuit City's website. (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX)

"We want to offer a variety of products and services to our customers and the GameZnFlix's program allows our customers to experience the convenience of renting both movies and games through the mail," said Bill Cimino, director of corporate communications for Circuit City.

The agreement calls for a rollout of GameZnFlix's service by offering prepaid service cards at each of Circuit City's Superstores. The agreement calls for adding between 45 and 110 locations each month until full deployment is reached prior to the 2006 holiday season. Financial terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.

"This relationship is a win-win for both companies," said John Fleming, chairman and chief executive officer of GameZnFlix, Inc. "Circuit City continues to prove to be one of the top destinations for movie-lovers and video gamers alike and by co-marketing with GameZnFlix, Circuit City can continue to fulfill its customers' needs by adding our rental services to its product line."

For those readers who are unaware of this company, GameZnFlix is a company that offers video games/DVDs for rental or purchase on the Internet with access to over 40,000 titles. With four different membership levels beginning at $8.99 a month to annual membership with an average price of $20.75 per month, subscribers can rent a combination of both video games and/or DVD movies with no late fees or due dates or members can purchase video games and/or DVD movie titles at a membership discount.

As anyone would expect, shares of GZFX received a huge pop at the open Monday morning. Shares surged more than 125% early in the day to trade at $.0209 on extremely heavy volume. As Monday progressed shares trimmed these gains in half. GZFX last traded Wednesday at $.0134, up 12.61% for the day. Trading for the first half of this week has been relatively predictable. Almost everyone had expected a big gain early Monday, followed by some profit taking later in the day and Tuesday. Wednesday was another day where many investors either bought back in after selling early Monday or others jumped off the sidelines to get in at a more reasonable price.

Given now that it is known that the Circuit City deal is in full effect, what does this mean for the future of GameZnflix? Clearly as I have stated months ago, the potential is truly there for this partnership to be a success. Circuit City has done its part; they have opened the door for a relatively unknown company. Now it is the job of GameZnflix to step up to the plate. This is the big leagues now, do not strike out.

I know many you reading this article are reading this because you are either share holders of this company, have been share holders, or you are thinking about becoming a shareholder. Remember this is a penny stock, so of course there is a high level of risk involved, but is that high level of risk a risk worth taking?

Looking at the 6-month chart above[below], there are very well defined support and resistance levels. These will be the areas that will dictate trade for the short term. There is currently resistance located at $.021; this was reinforced on Monday's trading when shares topped off at $.0209. There is also support located at $.012, this was the low of the day on Wednesday before shares bounced off this level and ended the day higher.

What can be expected of shares of GZFX over the course of the next few months? I would expect to see a lot of volatility as investors try to weigh the future of this company from any news releases concerning the Circuit City partnership. There is a strong likelihood that shares of GZFX will move significantly higher from their present level. Circuit City is no laughing matter, this company would not have reached out and extended its hands to GameZnflix if it did not think it would benefit as well from this deal.

This is truly a company to watch and it will be very interesting to see how this partnership evolves in the future.

Repost for those new to GZFX:

GZFX BUY confirmed!  Thanks penny_gold3 for the link from Raging Bull MB: Msg. 232051 of 232071

Daily Commentary

Our system posted a BUY CONFIRMED today. The previous SELL recommendation was issued on 03.15.2006 (15) days ago, when the stock price was 0.0103. Since then GZFX has gained 48.54% .

BUY-IF is confirmed by a white candlestick with a higher open. The buying price is today's open ( 0.0137 ) according to the Rules of Confirmation.

The recent bullish formation leading to the BUY-IF signal is confirmed today. The market seems ready for a new bullish move. It opened today with a gap-up and the day's activity resulted in a close higher than the open. This is one of our valid confirmation criteria.

The significant failure of the previous SELL signal is unfortunately confirmed too. Our shot went away this time. It is a fact that such signal failures are more unlikely for higher rated stocks, but it is not possible to deal with all the vagaries of the stock market. The signal system, however, continues to do an excellent job in the overall, despite such failures. This can be seen easily with a quick glance to the signal history table.

We hope that you bought this stock and still have the chance to profit from the later phase of the bullish attack. Today you were supposed to watch the upward gap in the opening, wait a bit, feel the bullish tendency of the market making sure that prices stay over the opening price and then go long. Your benchmark was the opening price of the upward gap.

If you bought, continue to hold this stock until the confirmation of the next SELL-IF signal. You are on relatively safe grounds as long as the future prices continue to trade above the benchmark price and if an emergency warning is not issued. What to do if you did not buy? Maybe, you did not have time to follow the session or you simply delegated the delicate job of confirmation to us. Well it is a bit late, but not too late. You may still find suitable prices for buying in the following sessions and still profit in case of a sustained bullish move.

The market is currently cold for short-sellers. Avoid any short sales and cover the short positions immediately if there are any. We erred significantly on the short side last time, but we are sure that you may easily cover your losses (if any) by basing your future trades on our signal system.
