fill_the_gap I agree.

I posted previously that GameZnFlix management should allow share price to gain by holding back on release of additional shares.  Had the share price gained above the previous test point of $0.02+ I believe GZFX would have continued to gain on momentum.

Perhaps, good news for GameZnFlix is that if they sold more shares (how many shares we still don't know), they have raised much needed capital to move forward with their growth (advertisement, more distribution centers, etc.).

GameZnFlix will be "fully" nationwide with Circuit City by Thanksgiving/Christmas time and each Circuit City being added to the rollout will add more subscribers.  I will keep my eye on GZFX as spring/summer approaches.  Will GZFX rebound from here?  Time will tell.

Take care everyone and keep on trading!

Repost of my email reply to short/mid and long-term stock trading question:

What I have learned since last July is that all stocks make money, some short-term, some mid-term and some long-term.  And I am still learning.

Heck, I am sure there were many that sold HANS as it rose from $5 to $10, $20, $50 and got nervous that too much growth already took place (with the 2:1 split taken into consideration when prict hit $100, HANS grew to $250!).  When HANS took a dip to $80, many thought the gain run was over.  Well, I thought HANS would go back to $100 and now it is at $125.

It is hard to pick long-term plays unless you absolutely know the company fundamentals as to how it will grow into the market place.

I recommended HANS last year as a solid Roth IRA pick because Hansen natural sodas were going national and being carried by the Supermarket chains as a "branded" product.  Softdrink market is huge and taking even a tiny portion of this huge market would mean growth for Hansens.  Recently with the energy drink "Monster" gaining popularity (twice the drink as Red Bull at same or less price too) Hansen stood to increase their market share in that market segment as well.

Actually, I thought HANS was going to split 2:1 again when it hit $100.  I still think it should have.  Perhaps even a 4:1 split may have been even better.  So far this year, company fundamentals for HANS hasn't changed and I am still drinking Hansens products.  As long as the consumer sentiment for Hansens natural soda/energy drink remains and continues to grow, HANS will keep growing in stock price as well.  I have been drinking Hansens natural soda since the 70's.  Too bad I didn't buy HANS stocks back then. LOL

As to the "next" group of stocks, I am in the process of moving (my work gave me a temporary promotion (may become permanent by summer time) and closer to work) and we've been packing all weekend.  The move will take 2-3 weeks, so I may not have much time to devote to stock trading.  But this will give me a chance to review and reapproach the stock trading concepts and the "new" list of stocks:  short to long-term.

I will email you with my long-term recommendations once I do that (I still think HANS may go higher), but for now, I am taking the position that with recent drop in Avian plays (I know there's been some bad press about how over-hyped Avian stocks are right now) some may bounce back.  Friday's drop may have been due to GNBT's Avian development and many probably sold GNBT along with other Avian stocks.  I am in GNBT because I believe the stock will gain due to their oral insulin spray and not for their Avian vaccine development.  Many may think similar and sell their Avian stocks and buy GNBT.

But keep in mind that there are tens of thousands of stocks (listed) and plenty more pennies that can be traded short-term to make money and many traders may leave the Avian Biotech sector to look for next group of stocks to trade with.

Like I posted last year on the Swing Trading MB, the thread will continue to "evolve" to become more and more effective.  No stock goes up forever and that's why I swing trade the rise/fall cycles.  NVAX has taught me that lesson last year.  And as I posted on Friday, we dust off and move on.

I believe it's a toss up from now on for GZFX.

We have essentially all the "bad" news (release of new shares, profit taking dip, and selling related to "concerns", etc.) on the table and it is common knowledge.

With this "behind" GZFX, I will speculate a portion of my portfolio with GZFX.

I am buying back on morning dip.   ;)  Of course, I will take it day-by-day.

rv, believe me I share your sentiment.

I did some review this weekend and what I realized was that (I can admit that I am wrong) GZFX should have been "traded" short-term and perhaps that's what many did.

If you look at the buy/sell chart below, GZFX could have been traded with 30%-100% gains short-term.  It's all about being on the right side of the trades.

According to the chart, RSI is below 50 and MACD is in the negative territory.  MACD/RSI may dip even lower before GZFX rebounds.

GZFX still is a "speculative" play until company proves its worth as this year plays out, hence I will take it day-by-day.

Nice morning pop of GNBT on news.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=GNBT

GZFX tested $0.01 and rebounded in the afternoon and it is "speculative" play that should be "traded" only.

Sold GNBT.  Today's general market fall dropped the share price of many stocks.
If current bearish trend continues, I may consider shorting stocks.  ;)

Dow Finishes Down 52 at 11,090, Nasdaq Finishes Down 23 at 2,310 on Traders' Inflation Fears

http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/060411/wall_street.html?.v=23
Tuesday April 11, 6:40 pm ET
By Christopher Wang, AP Business Writer

The Dow dropped 51.70, or 0.46 percent, to 11,089.63, its lowest close since finishing at 11,076.02 on March 13.

The broader stock indicators declined. The Standard & Poor's 500 index lost 10.05, or 0.78 percent, to 1,286.57 -- also a one-month low -- and the Nasdaq composite index fell 22.92, or 0.98 percent, to 2,310.35.

GZFX's positive PR was overshadowed by general market fall that dropped the share price of many stocks.  I believe future GZFX share price will reflect GameZnFlix's ability to deliver on its promises as the nationwide rollout progresses this year with Circuit City.

Circuit City Seen Posting Strong 4Q Results on Improved Margins From Big-Ticket Items

http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/060411/earns_preview_circuit_city.html?.v=1

NEW YORK (AP) -- Electronics retailer Circuit City Stores Inc. reports its earnings for the fiscal fourth quarter before the opening bell Wednesday. The following is a summary of expectations and developments for the period.

EXPECTATIONS: Analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial are looking for Circuit City to post quarterly earnings of 77 cents per share on $3.89 billion in revenue.

ANALYST TAKE: Citigroup analyst Bill Sims continued recommending that investors buy Circuit City shares, saying the market appears to be underestimating benefits the company is realizing from shifting its focus to higher-margin digital products like flat-panel televisions and MP3 players. He added that Circuit City should see strong comparable-store sales growth in the coming two quarters. "While we still think that Best Buy Co. has the better business model for the long term, there is less risk in Circuit City in the near term given the easier comparisons," Sims wrote in a research note.

COMPETITORS: Rival and industry leader Best Buy Co. recently laid off 300 corporate staff as it seeks to trim $300 million in annual costs. The company's spending has been on the rise from plans to tailor its stores toward certain customer segments.

Doyle, the focus of this Swing Trading MB is stocks priced under $30 and specifically under $10 for growth potential.

However, AKAM has shown to be a very trendable stock with 50% gain since start of this year.

50ma will be taken out on monday. 5ma continues to fall and will soon drop below the 50ma, 20ma will soon start a downward trend. cmf is on its way back down to the -.50-.70 range again. macd will soon go negative... i let myself be blinded by this companies service and what i thought was its actual value. normally with pinks youre isolated from their service, in fact, usually they dont even do anything. this one is so easily compared to netflix that you really think youve got something, but its no netflix... yet. dont let the pr's and hope keep blinding you. ive ignored the technicals for too long thinking that news at any time would override them... well that was naive. time to start looking at the charts, and it doesnt look good. it makes me sick, but i think this will trend down to .005.  :-\

i applaud the regulars on here that flipped and studied the charts. fill the gap and so on. i wont make this mistake again. i plan on buying in again at some point later this year. but i need to see whats going on with the A/S and how well the cc deal actually goes.

Godspeed, I agree.

It will also further decline when the Q arrives.  Holding it now when all indicators point down is asking to lose money.

The hopes of large returns vanished when the major dilution set it.  So many people are waiting for some news to just sell and get out of GZFX right now.  So any news is hit hard with even more selling.  A vicious cycle.

And other boards are pointing out that GZFX Agreement with Golden Gate allows for Short Selling! This is not good because it can already be shorted in Berlin.

The price looks to head well below a penny in the weeks ahead.
Just one opinion, do the research

Yes, godspeed06.  It's about being on the right side of the trade of being able to buy low and selling high.  With GZFX price so low (penny per share) you can do "fractional" trading where a small change (a few 1/10th or even 1/100th of a penny) translates to several hundreds to thousands of dollars when traded in 100K to 1 million share blocks.

If you look at GZFX intraday charts the past few weeks, they are indicative of many trading intraday or profit taking as GZFX makes gains.

fill_the_gap, as we both posted before there are many factors, such as the outstanding shares and shares GameZnFlix already released to raise capital, that are concerning many and I attribute these factors to GZFX not having attained higher share prices.  As long as these concerns exist, it will influence future share price of GZFX.

Calvin87, the longs that are willing to wait out the implementation of nationwide rollout with Circuit City starting May and the gradual growth of GameZnFlix will have some time to wait.  Unfortunately, there are more traders than investors on finance message boards (Yahoo, Raging Bull, Investors Hub, etc.) so the postings will lean to stock trade related comments than longer-term investing.  The stock traders (like me and many on 3SOF) do not invest and we look for trades to turn a profit on short/mid-term basis.  With that said, GameZnFlix as a new startup company does hold many promises for future growth.  I believe as time passes this year, we will see and know how the long-term prospects for this company will play out.

As for me, as a short-term swing trader by heart, I will continue to monitor the stock (among many) and continue to trade on the rise/fall cycles based on technicals.

lana2b,

As fill_the_gap and I posted previously, there are many factors that concern those trading GZFX on a short/mid-term basis, such as the outstanding shares and amount of shares GameZnFlix management has and will sell to raise working capital now and in the future.  And these factors have overshadowed otherwise a great promise of a startup company going nationwide with Circuit City.  But this is how micro/small cap startup companies raise money until they can generate revenue that can sustain their operations - by selling shares.

Good news is that these concerns are now common knowledge and "on the table" for everyone to see.  From now on, GZFX will be traded with all these factors known up front.

My take of GZFX is this.

Technically, GZFX has demonstrated recent 50% - 100%+ gains, and many have taken profit when the selling opportunities presented themselves.  Those that wanted to sell, I am quite certain that they have already sold by now.  Those that are still holding GZFX shares may primarily be comprised of long-term "fans" of GameZnFlix (long-term investors) or those that missed out on the selling opportunities like yourself.

What you should consider is this.  Many that made money with GZFX will be looking for another bottoming.  If you look at the buy/sell chart below, you can see the MACD/RSI rise/fall cycles that correspond with the rise/fall cycles of stock price.  And yes, the 20/50/200 day Moving Average are now all going positive.

If history repeats itself with GZFX, then rebound of MACD/RSI with corresponding price gains may attract those that traded GZFX previously.  If GZFX does not rebound, then price may drop even further.  However, if GZFX rebounds with continuing gains (technical analysis was developed to describe stock behavior, but as more and more traders buy/sell according to technicals, it becomes a "self-fulfilling prophesy") there may be a large influx of buying to ride the "next" trade with GZFX.

I am quite certain that most of those who bought GZFX sub-one penny probably have taken profit by now (and may have bought/sold GZFX several times already).  There's been a lot of talk if GZFX will go below a penny on finance MBs.  That depends on how low traders are willing to sell on loss.  If majority of holders aren't willing to sell on loss or low, then buying pressure will overcome sellers.  Penny stocks, unlike listed stocks (NYSE, Nasdaq, AMEX, etc.) do not require a seller for every buyer.  New buyers can buy their shares directly.  So, to an extent, GameZnFlix management "controls" whether GZFX share price rises or falls by controlling the amount of outstanding shares they choose to sell directly.

The positive developments and continuing progress of GameZnFlix going nationwide with Circuit City have not changed.  And for this short-term swing trader, I will be monitoring GZFX very closely next week for MACD/RSI bottoming (I am sure so will many other traders as well).  ;)

So, if you are holding GZFX shares, I would recommend that you see how next week unfolds.

I hope I helped.
