Continuing gains for GNBT on Friday when many traders close out their trades and stocks fall in late afternoon.  ;)

stocks1984

hey there,

i am new to this message broad. I am currently in the process of studying to to be a swing trader. GNBT is on my list to buy for next week. The chart is looking very nice for a rise to the upside. Currently the PPS is trading alittle sideways. MACD has not confirm a potential breakout, Slow Sto is rising over the red line which is positive, RSI is at 50 (which means plenty of room for the upside) Remember RSI has gone all the way up to 90 recently!, Money flow is neutral right now but could head upwards, the ADX is showing that the buy opportunity was yesterday, I look for the green line to be over the red line, and as far for the CCI it looks like it wants to head upward. I am no expert at chart reading however my most important valuable TA indicator i love to use are "Bollinger Bands". Bollinger bands give me a higher percentage of indication when a breakout should occur. The settings for the BB parameters i use is 10,1.5 for short term and default 20,2 for midterm. Just my 2 cents here. What do you think. Also CDIC is looking really good to me. thanks!

Welcome stocks1984, you came to the right place!  ;D

This MB thread is dedicated to newbies to stock trading.  Like myself (trading since July of 2005), there are many newbies on this MB thread.  You can check out the ever expanding knowledge base here:  http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=3633.msg32636#msg32636

If you are new to Swing Trading, I can save some time for you.  You see, we already examined the various technical analysis indicators and narrowed them down to indicators we use on our Swing Trading Templates.  For trending stocks, the templates have been tested to be 95%+ accurate.  Basically, I found that MACD and RSI are the most accurate and pertinent technical indicators to use for Swing Trading to determine the Buy/Entry and Sell/Exit points.

Here's a primer on how to draw the basic BUY/SELL charts for Swing Trading: (I will use CDIC as an example)

0.  Select a stock (You can use 3SOF stocks, stocks off stock screeners/filters, etc.)
1.  Pull a 3-4 month chart using daily period (I use stockcharts.com's free sharpcharts)
2.  Draw the charts with 5/20 Simple Moving Averages, RSI (14), MACD, colored candlesticks
3.  You can use the "Annotate" feature or draw the BUY(Blue)/SELL(Red) arrows and lines manually using ruler and colored pens
4.  Wherever you see MACD bottom, drop a Blue BUY arrow and put a vertical line
5.  Wherever you see MACD peak, raise a Red SELL arrow and put a vertical line

That's it!  Really, it's that simple to draw the BUY/SELL chart for Swing Trading.

So, looking at the BUY/SELL chart, you can tell where the BUY/entry points are and where the SELL/exit points are.  They typically correspond with RSI bottoms of 30-50 and peaks of 60-80+.

Once you got the Short-term Swing Trading down pat, you can then line up 1-5 stocks to do Rotational Swing Trading.

Keep practicing drawing the BUY/SELL Swing Trading charts.  The more you practice, better and faster you will get.  Really, Swing Trading CAN be this simple.

I posted blank Swing/Rotational Templates and Instructions for your reference.

Take care!  - John

Happy weekend John,
Let me give it a little nudge for you  ;D  GZFX had a nice 10% gain today on no news and a steady stream of buying...  lets see if it can continue.

Repost from 3SOF Penny GZFX MB:

Thanks fluxanimator.   :D

After Wednesday - Friday's performance of GZFX technically rebounding off MACD/RSI bottom with  5/20/50/200 day Moving Averages now all turned positive, I believe GZFX will now continue to rise.

My sentiment at least short-term is that GZFX will continue to gain at least until RSI hits previous peaks of 60-70+.  Like I posted previously, once the confidence for GZFX is confirmed, more buyers will leave the sidelines and buy GZFX with future anticipation of gains.

Like before, GZFX will take profit at some point.  But as long as the confidence level for GZFX is maintained, I anticipate that dip from profit taking will be much smaller than previous dips.  And if the next profit taking dip is not that small, you will certainly see even greater confidence for GZFX and the buying pressure will push GZFX to even higher levels.

Of course, this is only my "crazy" take.   ;)

As always, time will tell.

I promised my wife not to pump or hype GZFX last week  :D, and I won't.  But to bring to attention to those that may not know, I do want to mention these new developments:

GameZnFlix is now listed on Peter Hankwitz's Productions & Management website perhaps "representing" Chip Gallent's (President of GameZnFlix) association and support for Peter Hankwitz.
http://www.hankwitz.com/  http://www.filmmagic.com/ItemListing.aspx?cgl=178354&str=46126&styp=clbi&navtyp=CAL

Peter Hankwitz is one of Hollywood's insiders that, among many, represents Digital Ranch, the producer of my favorite History Channel's program "Mail Call" - nice.
http://www.hankwitzforcongress.com/About_Peter.html

"Hankwitz also represents, among others, Josh Hancock, creator and star of the television series "Shifting Gears," and Emmy® Award-winning television production company Digital Ranch, which produces Sgt. R. Lee Ermey's "Mail Call" - the #1 half-hour series on the History Channel since 2002."  More at link.

What does this mean?  GameZnFlix is working on Satellite Video-On-Demand and already launched the GameZnFlix Entertainment Channel while securing rights to 170 TV shows and 3,600 movies.  Peter Hankwitz represents companies (such as Digital Ranch) that produces TV shows.  http://www.gameznflix.com/default.aspx?content=affiliate/gnfent&kbid=2020

http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/060328/0115059.html

http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/060412/0122908.html

Just imagine, how many would love to have History Channel's entire library of programs available for "Instant Video-On-Demand" viewing?

Especially with Peter Hankwitz (Republican) now running for US Congress, GameZnFlix association/support of Peter Hankwitz cannot be taken lightly.  Dang, what if he wins and goes to Congress?  ;)

Seriously, Chip Gallent already has strong support for US Military and GameZnFlix offers ongoing discounted rates for veterans and active/reserve US Military and Department of Defense members.  The deal with AAFES will certainly not hurt GZFX share price, and once done, will improve the future for GameZnFlix by securing increased subscriber base.  http://www.aafes.com/

These new developments represent that GameZnFlix management is working actively to secure and improve the future of the company.  With the nationwide rollout to commence in the month of May with Circuit City, it is my sentiment that GameZnFlix is working hard to deliver on their promises to fulfill their many pipelines.

TruthfullyTina,

I will let market sentiment determine the future price of GZFX and association to Peter Hankwitz. (see bottom sentence) http://www.hankwitzforcongress.com/About_Peter.html
"Peter lives with Julian Trevino, his domestic partner since 1997, in Northridge, California."

I believe GameZnFlix association to Peter Hankwitz is based on his "professional" work in Hollywood and GameZnFlix's pursuit of securing rights to TV shows and movies for their Video-On-Demand and other downloadable media content pipelines.

TruthfullyTina,

I am a technical trader who trades on Swing Trading principles. I also maintain a MB thread that supports newbies to Swing Trading at 3SOF.

I have been trading GZFX since November 2005 and is well aware of the challenges GameZnFlix as a micro-cap startup company faced and will be facing in the future.

Video-On-Demand and media content downloading are pipelines GameZnFlix need to secure to be competitive in the future marketplace of consumer entertainment.

Being able to secure rights to 170 TV shows and 3,600 movies is a positive achievement for this tiny company going against the giants like Netflix.

If association with Peter Hankwitz would raise a concern, we need to look at the entire Hollywood/entertainment industry. To secure additional TV/Movie rights, GameZnFlix will need to associate/negotiate with many other Hollywood insiders/movers/shakers who undoubtly will have "questionable" issues - this obviously comes with the territory [media/entertainment industry].

Of these group of "questionable" Hollywood insiders/movers/shakers, Peter Hankwitz was "substantial" enough to get the support of the Republican Party to run for US Congress. I believe this says a lot.

Was there any concern as to the associations (political or otherwise) the various new startup companies' (Netflix, Sirius, XM satellite, Hansens, AMD, Intel, etc.) management made in the early days of corporate growth? If there was any, it is no longer an issue.

My sentiment is that the market will be concerned about the viability and future growth of GameZnFlix as a company in the everchanging and highly competitive (yet very lucrative) consumer entertainment industry.

Live thanks for the optimistic post. Sorry I didn't get a chance to thank you for your response last night (went to bed early). However, I will check out that website. I would love to bet some good pointers in that line of trading.

Thanks again and enjoy your Sunday.

There sure is a lot of buzz on finance MBs regarding the future of GZFX.

My sentiment is that all the "bad news" about GameZnFlix are already on the table and "common knowledge" to those trading/investing GZFX shares.

This past week's Wednesday - Friday intraday performance of GZFX has demonstrated that those that wanted to sell to bail out of GZFX on panic have already done so.  The drying up of "fear selling" on "alleged" bad prospect for GameZnFlix will, IMO, allow GZFX to gain steadily from these levels.

Technically, GZFX 20/50/200 day Moving Averages are all positive now and with GZFX having historically traded at upwards of $0.19, these factors will attract many new buyers as GZFX is rebounding off a technical bottom and is looking for a bullish technical run.

I am looking forward to upcoming days and weeks for GZFX.

As always, time will tell.

After 12%+ gain the last three days, it appears that some took profit.

5/20/50/200 day Moving Averages still all positive.

As I posted previously, I will be trading GZFX technically based on the BUY/SELL chart.

Stocksquire,

And don't forget this from 10Q:

"The Company will continue to seek similar relationships with nationally known companies or agencies to further brand the company name."
