Foster City-based SciClone (NASDAQ:SCLN) said revenue grew 54 percent to $13.83 million, compared with $8.95 million in the year-ago quarter.

The increase is primarily attributable to an increase in the quantity of hepatitis drug Zadaxin sold in the People's Republic of China, which accounted for approximately 94 percent of total Zadaxin sales for the quarter.
