hey guys,

a few days before KRY's news hit a friend of mine heard from a guy who works at an investment company about KRY. 

i haven't been trading lately so i just watch and did nothing about it.  he bought some.

i live in toronto and canada is rich in metals (and oil). the TSX is like all metals and oil.

he told me about it the day KRY dropped to $2.30.  again i did not buy. arggg.

then almost magically the next day news came out and then more news.... and up KRY went.

i think the only downside is the possibility that the goverment takes control of the mines but i do not think that could happen.

i also do not think the price of gold will drop much.

i am surprised the stock hasn't already risen more.  maybe it is about to as setravis said.

Canada's Crystallex Gets Permit for Basic Exploration at Venezuelan Gold Mine


CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) -- Canada's Crystallex International Corp. has obtained permits for basic exploration at a gold mine here.
The Venezuela government has given the company the necessary environmental permits for the Lo Increible gold mine in Venezuela, Crystallex said in a statement Thursday.

Lo Increible is a 10,000-hectare (24,710-acre) property in the El Callao mining district in eastern Venezuela.

The company, which received its final permit last month, has a one-year contract to conduct a feasibility study for gold, alluvium and ore at the site, it said.

Crystallex still is awaiting permits for the larger Las Cristinas gold mine, which is believed to hold one of the region's largest undeveloped gold deposits, the company said.

Crystallex earlier this month raised its estimate of gold reserves at the Las Cristinas site from 12.5 million ounces (354 million grams) to 13.6 million ounces (385 million grams). It acquired the property in 2000 from Vancouver, Canada-based Bema Gold Corp., which at the time estimated it held 2.6 million ounces (73 million grams)of gold.

This ones looking interesting again. Just popped up on my filter tonight. Price action tested and rebounded off the ascending trendline. Im anticipating a break of the 2.98 neckline. So im buying in the morning.

Crystallex Announces Approval of Permit to Impact Natural Resources for an Aggregate Quarry for the Las Cristinas Project, Bolivar State, Venezuela

TORONTO--(Business Wire)--March 7, 2006--
      Crystallex International Corporation
(TSX:KRY)(AMEX:KRY) reported today that the Ministry of the
Environment and Natural Resources ("MARN") in Venezuela has notified
Crystallex of the Ministry's approval of the "Permit to Impact
Natural Resources" for a quarry on the Albino property to provide
aggregate for the adjacent Las Cristinas project, and of the
initiation of the normal administrative process by the Ministry.

   Previously, on February 15, 2006, Crystallex announced that it
had been granted the rights to explore and develop a quarry on the
Albino property as a source of aggregate for the Las Cristinas
project by the Mining Institute (IAMIB) of Bolivar State, Venezuela.
Aggregate is required for the construction and operating phase of the
Las Cristinas Project which currently contains gold reserves of some
13.6 million ounces at a gold price of US$400 per ounce. The Albino
concession is located approximately 1 kilometre from the Las
Cristinas Project site.

   Todd Bruce, Crystallex President and CEO commented, "MARN's
approval of the Permit to Impact Natural Resources for the Albino
aggregate quarry that will service the Las Cristinas project is a key
development as it brings us closer to the issuance of the Permit to
Impact Natural Resources for the Las Cristinas project itself. We
look forward with great anticipation to receiving this final permit
for Las Cristinas which will enable the company to commence the
construction process."

Sure did Setravis! I see the ascending channel though im playing this more like an ascending triangle, with a false breakout that occured in late Feb. Price action closed at the neckline of 2.98 on friday. Hoping to see a breakout this coming week.
