Another great day for ONT price action, meeting the technical target of 1.31 for the ascending triangle breakout on new highs for volume.


So is it done moving? I dont really know, But technical analysis thinks were moving to 2.06. Todays breakout of restence of 1.28 was a bullish break of a 2 year trading range. This break has been validated by this increase in volume near the breakout of 1.28. So i would think 2.06 is in the near future as long as this doesnt turn out to be a bull trap, which is a false breakout of a trading range, send pps very quickly back down near the bottom of the range.

retracement today though still maintaining a close at 1.31 above the support(top of trading range) of 1.28. Would like to see it stay above 1.28 tomorrow for me to remain bullish on ONT for the short term.

I've been following ONT for more than a year now and I think that there is a strong support point at .79

My prevision is that it is going to oversell until 0.70 then will be back up at 0.8

If it falls further, next support is arround 0.6

On2 Technologies, Inc. (Amex: ONT) announced its third quarter 2006 financial results today at the close of trading. Revenue for the three months ending September 30, 2006, was $1,703,000, a 236% increase from the three months ending September 30, 2005, with $507,000 in revenue, and a 11% increase from the three months ending June 30, 2006, with $1,535,000 in revenue.

Operating expenses for the three months ending September 30, 2006 totaled $2,290,000, a 26% decrease from the three months ending June 30, 2006 with operating expenses of $3,082,000, and a 50% increase from the three months ending September 30, 2005 with operating expenses of $1,524,000. The decrease in operating expenses quarter-over-quarter is primarily attributable to the decrease in legal expenses related to the company's internal investigation and recruiting/relocation expenses. The company's net loss for the three months ending September 30, 2006 was $608,000, as compared to a net loss of $1,044,000 for the three months ending September 30, 2005 and a net loss of $1,549,000 for the three months ending June 30, 2006.

The about statement on the front page of their website really caught my eye. This is cutting edge technology that Adobe is getting through them. Plus one of the top ten websites "YouTube" is all Flash video...most web ads are now all flash video also. This company can be purchased by a major player in the future.
