NTRI got a nice reaction to their earnings and guidance, will now see in a couple weeks what DIET have to say. Hopefully good guidance about Fresh Cuisine.

I don“t think we will have earnings announced this week. I recently sent investors relations e-mail asking about if they had some numbers on the Fresh Cusine and got this answer back -

"We have not given out numbers at this time but will update investors on our 4th quarter call which will be during the second week of March.

Sincerely,

John Mills"

You were absolutely right Athakinu. The alert on Yahoo was because February 23rd would be the date where the company would say when it will release earnings, not the actual earnings.

Yes, NTRI rose 13% after its earnings release. Earnings there were really awesome  8) (still a forward earnings multiple of 30).

We hope DIET follows the same path. It's funny how they don't mention Fresh Cuisine in their profile. Probably most investors are still not aware of it at the present moment.

When DIET reports the 4th quarter earnings on March 9th, what will matter most is their guidance (I hope they provide one), so we learn more about how Fresh Cuisine is doing.

Technically the stock failed to break $8.20 on the upside. Volume is decreasing and we may have an ascending triangle pattern formation in the making.

I'll continue holding the stock whatever happens.

fous

Im liking the ascending triangle pattern forming here. Todays candle was a bullish doji, if we have a white day tomorrow bouncing off of these support levels im thinking of adding to my position in anticipation of the breakout.

I totally agree with your analysis fous  :)

Just saw you're making a website, that's great, congratulations for the new project  :D

fous said it all, DIET touched its ascending trendline with a doji and it is fully ready to attack and break those $8.20 on the upside. Fundamentals improving is almost a sure thing here, I can't let it go this low.

I'll continue holding DIET.

fous

We got the white candle today i was looking for. Price action gapped down to the support line and bulls made a rally to close above yesterdays close. I'll be adding to my position on monday in anticipation of the breakout.

Makin another nice bounce off support as well  as bouncing off the 13 EMA inegrated in my RSI.

I added some shares at the market open.

You did well fous  :)

1reilly ended his mission, and it was quite an informative mission  :)

No reason at all to sell here, as the stock bounces from support. Results will be out on March 9th.

I'll continue holding DIET, both from a trading and investment perspective.

David Randolph

DIET was up a bit while the general market collapsed. Volume also increased. It is just a matter of time for the stock to breakout above $8.20.

DIET is still a $175M market cap, and NTRI is $1.52B. Both companies can be similar in revenues and profits over the long run, I believe, as they were before NTRI started its food delivery program.

I'll continue holding DIET, both on a trading and investment perspective.

fous

Bit of an ugly day today for DIET breaking the ascending trendline line and all. Though price action may be finding support on the top downsloping trendline of the previous symmetrical triangle. None the less, i'll continue to hold in anticipation of the breakout.

These guys selling DIET on low volume don't know what they're doing. When the market is fully aware of Fresh Cuisine the stock will surely shoot higher.

I'll continue holding DIET.

David Randolph

Nothing new on DIET, I'll continue waiting for guidance from the company on Thursday and will keep on holding the stock.

fous

The day we've been waiting for ;D I think this should head to 10 in the near future.

DIET - 4Q05 Preview - Expect Strong Results; FreshCuisine Could Surprise in
FY06
eDiets.com is scheduled to report 4Q05 results on Thursday, March 9,
before the market open.
We expect results to be in line with or ahead of our estimates of $11.9M
in revenue (up 7% Y/Y and down 12% Q/Q), $1.3M in EBITDA (up 820% Y/Y and down
42% Q/Q), and $0.05 in EPS (up 5 cents Y/Y and down 4 cents Q/Q).

Key metrics. For the 4Q05 we expect gross subscriber additions of
70,000, customer acquisition cost of $70, and average revenue per subscriber per
week of $3.98. We believe that our 4Q05 assumptions are very conservative,
particularly with respect to CAC, which is likely to be closer to $60 rather
than $70.
FreshCuisine. In January, eDiets.com launched a meal delivery service.
We currently have minimal expectations; however, this service could become
meaningful starting in 2Q06. In fact, our checks indicate that the service is
off to a strong start already in 1Q06. If successful, FreshCuisine has the
potential to become the biggest revenue driver for the company and could lead to
substantial upside to our estimates.
FY06 outlook. Our FY06 projections include revenue growth of 16%, which
is at the low end of guidance for a minimum of 15-20% growth. The company has
not guided for specific EPS range yet, except to state that it expects to be
cash flow- and earnings-positive for the full year. We believe our FY06
estimates could have upside from the FreshCuisine product.

Valuation. The stock trades at 25x and 15x EV/EBITDA and 31x and 17x P/E
based on our FY06 and FY07 estimates. We believe that if eDiets.com is
successful with some of its marketing plans, advertising sales initiatives,
FreshCuisine launch, and new licensing agreements, the stock should see
multiples expansion on our FY07 estimates and trade closer to $10.00 or 18x
EV/EBITDA (2007) and 21x P/E (2007). However, success with FreshCuisine could
accelerate the company's revenue growth rate and push valuation into the mid
teens.
