Everything happened after 1 pm. Before lunch there was volume but the price was 1.37 to 1.42 range and then all of sudden it broke the 1.50 resistance to move upward.

It's up 10% after hours!  I didn't know they were going to report earnings today.  That came as a surprise!

CGR made a move with high volume ;)

Any update on CGR Terliso?  Is this a correction mirroring gold prices? This is pretty steep for the last two sessions.

I think CGR can get support here with its good FA, Q1 profit is 0.06

digdug42

Are you meaning with the results they already released? Bad two days for cgr.  Lets hope it has support here.  Will have to watch gold prices also.

Terliso,
Do you think now is a good time to jump into this stock? I studied this stock very carefully. It has execlent potential, a value play .
The uptrend looks solid.
Small cap gold and oil stock, broke through the pivot of a cup and handle.

Interesting in that this Canadian company is into both oil/gas exploration and gold mining.
Claude Resources, Inc. is a natural resource exploration company focused on the exploration for and development of gold, oil and gas properties.
Claude is engaged in the exploration, development and production of gold. The Company currently produces between 50 and 60,000 ounces annually and, in addition, has a portfolio of advanced stage exploration properties. Currently all of Claude's mineral properties are located in Canada. The Company also has interests in Canadian oil & gas assets, operated by third parties, which generate about 25% of Claude's revenues.

I am interested in these companies for a number of reasons. Small natural resources companies have more growth potential more than the megacaps, because the undeveloped opportunities remaining in the world can have a bigger impact on the bottom line. The Canadian economy is doing well, the Canadian dollar is rising against the US dollar. I'm not sure whether Canadian companies trading on US exchanges are subject to Sarbanes-Oxley, but the possibility that they are not is a notable factor too. S-O takes a major bite out of US microcaps. CGR has also announced major mineral discoveries at its gold mine in Canada. Its price ratios are much better than comparable gold and silver companies.
I think. IMHO, all the indicators are suggesting CGR is undervalued

Small Cap Profile:
Small cap mining names, particularly Amex-listed ones, have done well lately. (see recent profiles: DEZ, EZM, KRY, MRB, NAK, NXG, NTO, TGB) Claude Resources is another small cap mining stock that looks interesting. CGR is a gold mining and oil and gas company based in Canada. Its principal asset is its 100% owned Seabee gold mine in Saskatchewan, Canada. The mine is a high-grade operation with 684,000 tonnes of reserves and an additional 1.5 mln tonnes of resources with significant upside potential. The co also controls a large land package around the Seabee mine which are now being explored. Claude also owns interests in several large oil and gas properties... Gold production at the Seabee mine increased steadily through 2H05, reaching a high of 15,100 ounces in Q4, 53% higher than the average production from the previous three quarters. The co recently doubled its mill expansion at the Seabee mine, from 550 tonnes per day to 1,100 tonnes per day. The co reported a small profit in Q4 on revs of $9.1 mln, up 25% yoy. Even though the sector has done well, there are still some names that are not well known like CGR, but look interesting.
