If you still have time, could you tell me whats going on with AMTD (TD Ameritrade)
they said the outlook for 2007 would be lower than expected, and they lowered commissions rates. After record earnings, its been tanking from 22$ for 9 straight days to about 18$ area right now. The support was suppose to be at the 19$ area but it fell through.

AMTD - is following the rest of the broker/dealer sector down (check out the week ahead outlook: http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=5438.0) at the 200ma right now but volume is not coming in to support.. they may need to let it fall some more.. despite any bounce a new bearish trend may be in place so I would look to get out.

Etrade and Shwab are up, but there is insider selling for AMTD so I guess I'll wait to average down. Thanks for the analysis

Again I would urge against averaging down.. the broker/dealer sector does not look good.. both ET and SCHB have weakening charts and AMTD is the worst of the bunch(TA-wise)

Out of all the great 1000$ contest picks, which one has the most potential to move upwards?

TGC, GV, IIP

All have seen a very good week, but TGC seems to have ran out of bullish power for today.

All have seen a very good week, but TGC seems to have ran out of bullish power for today.

No doubt in my mind it is GV.. that is why I picked it.    It has a great fundamental story to go along with its power chart.  IIP has a nice story as well but has run a bit.  TGC is a momentum play(i have not done too much digging into financials.).. It remains high in its pattern but like you said a bit of a loss of bullish power.. still looks great but nobody can compare to GV!

LBIX - I'm not a fan of the volume yet.. it had the spike up for some reason(maybe a pump) but nevertheless left a tall white candle.. nice volume today is holding up in the pattern but this seems to get volume in surges.. i would wait for some sustained volume to enter and I would hold with a tight stop(3.35-3.30)

LVLT - just hanging around consolidating after yesterdays gap(buying company).. looks bullish to me.. may move off the coming 9ema.. 20 ema and $5 support.

BOOM - short term bearish pressure.. lets see if volume comes in around 50ma
FSL - nice chart..although semis are not hot right now..but I like it
RATE - long-term uptrend leaves me wondering how much has it got left in the tank.. still very bullish chart
