Julia,

Something that I do most of the time is to purchase in thirds.

This way it can help should it get cut in half like this did.
I bargain hunt the history of the charts and hold until a spike in a % of portfolio, have a day trading % too for momentum.  But I make the bigger dollars on buying this in the 9's and selling this year for a double.  Whatever works.

If it rises, then evaluate and possibly average up.

I like this here.  May have to hold for awhile.
Tuck it away.

  Hello bagholders,
I too bought somewhat higher and just purchased more to avg down.  You are so right Jeff.  I'm becoming more disciplined but have too often in the past bought on a move and then didn't get my goal and held for a ride down just because I believe in a company. In retrospect I could have always bought in later for a better position.
Hang in there Julia and this will come around.  You could avg down but a more valuable advice I've learned here is avg up so you aren't throwing good $ after bad.
So the lesson is be patient and it will come around again.
Thanks both for sharing

Learned the hard way about buying the hype.
It is fine for a quick trade and I do that with a DayTrade account.

Making much more buying the chart in anticipation of the hype.
Patience as history usually repeats.

The one factor that bothers me is the authorization of 500 million shares.
The media exposure should help.  If it drops to closing in the 7- 8's, I will re evaluate.

XBoard Rides the Airwaves with Planet X

CyberAds/POV Kick-off Marketing Partnership with Programs Reaching Over 110 Million Homes

TORRANCE, Calif., Jul 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- CyberAds, Inc. (OTCBB:CYAD) reported today that the first wave of TV programs produced by POV (Planet One Ventures, Inc.), will be broadcast nationwide over the next two months. Since initiating a marketing agreement less than 30 days ago, the companies have been very busy creating special events featuring the revolutionary watercraft XBoard.
POV, the producers of "Planet X" and "Planet XYZ" television have created shows that feature XBoard, and it's marketing company CyberAds, on four national TV programs. The first show will be a special coverage of XBoard in Maui on the "Planet XYZ" episode entitled "XBoard" and will air in late July and August on Encore Wam (in over 25 million cable homes). A second "Planet XYZ" episode entitled, "Lagoon" will air in early August on the same network and will include interviews with CyberAd's management at the "Lagoon Jam" event recently held at Snug Harbor Lagoon in Carlsbad, California. Additional programs featuring XBoard action, the CyberAds team and related extreme sports themes will be airing nationally on "Planet X" Television (over 70 million homes) and "X Corps" Television (over 15 million homes) during the months of July and August.

"Working with Cyberads and XBoard has been great for POV and its show properties," stated Clinton Walker, EVP, Sales and Marketing for POV. He added, "The XBoard will soon rule the waves and waterways and POV is proud to be the first to show it off on national TV."

"Our broadcast schedule on Planet X and the other TV programs will give the XBoard product crucial exposure and brand awareness to further its growth and lead position in the personal watercraft industry and the newly created sport of Jet Surfing," stated Jeff Criswell, President of CyberAds.

In addition to continued TV exposure and special events, both camps are currently reviewing the branding prospect of a "Planet XBoard" product that will be a special edition board for the surfing and action sports marketplace.

XBoard is an innovative watercraft that is shaped like a surfboard and powered by a 39.5 horsepower rotary engine. XBoard is designed and manufactured by Aqua Xtremes, Inc., a company that specializes in the creation of extreme sports products and marine engines.

Has shown nice support in 9-10 cent range.

The marketing hype is key.
The tv spots begin soon.

I maintain a full position and look for a double, IMO.

Anyone looking at CyberAds because of the XBoard should also be looking at Aqua Xtremes,
manufacturer of the XBoard. Parent company is Nova Communications [NVAC]. I believe that the potential is much greater long term than for CyberAds. CYAD has increased it's A/S to 500 million shares. Do your DD on this one, the PRs may be pretty but that's about all that is.

Jungle Jim

:(  Today's PR from Nova [NVAC], Aqua Xtremes, manufacturer of the XBoard states that
THEY will be taking deposits for Xboards with no mention of CyberAds. What happened to CyberAds? Do they still have distribution rights?

Probably a wise move for Nova to disengage from CyberAds who has spent a heck of a lot more money promoting CYAD stock than they have XBoards or anything else.

P.S. I don't believe in posting PRs as they are easy enough to find. Most of many PRs is the safe harbor part anyway.

I think I'm stuck with this one for a long time.  Currently down 50%.  Ouch! >:(

If this board doesn't come out soon, they'll have to upgrade the motor so it can move through the Midwest snow.

Nice move for it today, but don't expect this dog to do much.  I had bought this stock a while back around .10 or something like that.  It didn't move anywhere but down, doesn't post much news and doesn't seem like it has much potential.  The boards run $7500?  Which is the same or more than a good Jetski and if I remember right, CYAD only gets $500 per sale??

A few too many threads on this one.  ;D I have seen rumors of a R/S coming next week. Anybody know the truth about that. I am out and don't plan to enter...just saw a post elsewhere sayin a R/S coming and thought I'd put it up here for consideration.
