Anyone else here speculating on INSM? After that sharp gain before mkt close yesterday, seems like something is happening behind the scenes. However, volume is low.

termabo,

I'm in at 1.75, and while I haven't much liked the recent action, I do agree with you that INSM should start moving higher in the coming weeks.  Whatever happens with the lawsuit, as you said, it won't reach any real conclusion until Nov, what will really kick this off is the IPLEX launch and once analysts get an idea about IPLEX patient nos and potential revenues for the remainder o f2006 and 2007.

Recently I have decided to move more toward a long term hold phiilosophy as I'm getting a bit sick of the stresses involved in the swings of the market, as whenever I play to them, they always seem to spit me out.  So for now, my 3 core holdings are INSM, NXXI, and GIGM.  All of which I see as having huge potential in the next 12 months.

Don't want to put a price date target on these, but I do think that the next month or two should see things getting more interesting for INSM.

News of launch should make this thing skyrocket, Just rumors of launch and it takes off. conference call at earnings said in the next several weeks. So it could happen anytime.

MMs painting the for last squeeze before imminent rally. Keep an eye on this one.

INSM could be the buy of the year at these prices

Sometimes I wonder why i don't listen to my own advice but there you go - the day after my last post here, INSM gapped down hard and startyed playing in the 1.40s - really not nice, but I am determined to hang in on this one until the launch next month (which may or may not be a good idea, will only have to see).  I'm not sure when it will rally but there should be one associated with the launch unless the market thinks IPLEX will bomb, but I don't think so.

So for now, I see some support around 1.45-1.46, and it would be nice for INSM to respect that.  Changing my chart to a linear one, we have a descending wedge with a base currently around 1.35.  I don't want it to test this once again, but if it does, I think I may have to load up there.  Resistance at 1.65 seems to be causing some problems right now, but keep an eye out for the upside wedge breakout - I think that is when we will start to see some fireworks.

Its all inthe works guys.

INSM is forming a solid base....I expect the start of an uptrend any moment now....

There are many big investors on the sidelines ready to jump in at the sign of a clear reversal.

Once we go over $1.6 we'll start moving up....

HUGE June starts next week..

Martin Savage

Unit Head - Professor of Paediatric Endocrinology
Research Area:

Professor Martin Savage, Dr Cecilia Camacho-Hübner and Dr Linda Johnston hold academic positions in Paediatric Endocrinology. The principal interests of the unit are; the molecular and endocrine characterization of disorders of the GH-IGF-I axis, treatment of GH resistance with the recombinant IGF-I/IGFBP-3 complex, growth genetics and the investigation and treatment of paediatric Cushing's syndrome.

Clinical Activity:

There is close collaboration with Prof Adrian Clark's laboratory, where identification of several new mutations of the GH-IGF-I axis have been demonstrated. We are currently co-ordinating a pivotal therapeutic trial of the recombinant IGF-I-IGFBP-3 complex (Insmed Inc) in patients with GH insensitivity syndrome. The NESTEGG project (Network for the study of genes in growth) is directed by Adrian Clark and co-ordinated by Linda Johnston. This project, which unites populations of short stature patients from London, Rotterdam , Toulouse and Tübingen will study candidate genes for linkage of SNPs with phenotypic variants in idiopathic short stature and children born SGA. It is funded by Pfizer.
We currently have a database of 46 patients with paediatric Cushing's syndrome. Patients are referred from the UK, Europe and beyond. Characteristics of 30 patients with Cushing's disease have been recently published. We collaborate closely with the Department of Adult Endocrinology, Neurosurgery and Radiotherapy.
