FaceKey Issued Patent for Face Recognition Using Smart Card with Video Camera
FaceKey Corporation (OTC:FEKY.PK), a provider of biometrics technology, fingerprint recognition and face recognition technologies, today announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark office has issued U.S. Patent No.7,039,221 B1.

The new patent, titled "FACIAL IMAGING VERIFICATION UTILIZING SMART-CARD WITH VIDEO CAMERA" covers a smart card equipped with an embedded video camera for use with face recognition. This smart card is a unique type of security and identification device never before available. Embedding a video camera in the smart card and requiring its owner's face to be recognized before using the smart card will prevent unauthorized access to facilities and confidential data stored on the card.

Research indicates that because of the many features and benefits of the technology, the market for the smart card equipped with an embedded video camera is vast and is expected to be in the billions. FaceKey is currently identifying applications in the most lucrative markets, such as Homeland Security, and potential partners.

"Your face will be your key," noted Yevgeny B. Levitov, President of FaceKey Corp. "Because the presence of the owner of the smart card with an embedded video camera is required to use the card, the smart card is a new tool to increase accountability, such as limiting access to property, protecting confidential data, preventing identity theft and restoring privacy. We believe that security will be increased without the further wearing away of citizens' privacy as business and government add restrictions as they endeavor to protect customers, employees and citizens."

FaceKey Files Application to Extend Patent for Combination of Face Recognition and Fingerprint Recognition
FaceKey Corporation (OTC:FEKY.PK), a provider of biometrics technology, fingerprint recognition and face recognition technologies, today announced it has filed an application to extend its U.S. Patent No. 6,963,659 B2. The application to extend the patent, titled "FINGERPRINT VERIFICATION SYSTEM UTILIZING A FACIAL IMAGE-BASED HEURISTIC SEARCH METHOD," enables FaceKey to add additional applications to the issued patent.

FaceKey's research indicates that large organizations prefer biometric-based identification solutions that do not require cards, PINs, passwords or other media that can be shared, lost or stolen as well as being very convenient. Currently, the market does not provide such products. FaceKey is currently identifying applications in the most lucrative markets, such as Homeland Security and potential partners. And the company welcomes inquiries.

"FaceKey's goal has always been to provide biometric-only identification products for small to large organizations," noted Yevgeny Levitov, President of FaceKey Corp. "This addition will increase the value of our intellectual property portfolio and strengthen our position as the exclusive supplier of biometric-only-based identification technologies and products."

FaceKey Makes Another Step to Add Face Recognition to Its Biometric Security System
FaceKey (PINKSHEETS: FEKY) announces a new addition to their EntryGuard(TM) product line, the AC-05, a fingerprint based access control product with a keypad plus a video camera that will function as a pre-screening RECEPTIONIST. If the face of a visitor, such as a Fed Ex delivery person or a customer coming for a meeting, appears on a screen in the business, the receptionist can identify the visitor and open the door from inside.

Customers who already have an access control system that uses cards, can add the AC-05 to provide fingerprint based security and the pre-screening RECEPTIONIST. The AC-05 combines fingerprint recognition with either a PIN or card and is FIPS 201 compliant, the high security level required by the Federal Government.

According to Dr. Yevgeny B. Levitov, President and Co-Founder of FaceKey, "FaceKey plans to equip the AC-05 unit with face recognition. This step will provide the commercial and industrial markets with superior security products, utilizing face recognition, that are convenient, easy to use and that will reduce administrative costs. By building on the AC-05 as our base, FaceKey can bring a cost effective face recognition based product to the market in a relatively short time.

Call centers are big business.

FaceKey Products Enter New Niche in Call Centers
FaceKey Corporation (PINKSHEETS: FEKY) The manufacturer of biometric security products utilizing fingerprint and/or facial recognition, announced today that Centralized Showing Service, Inc. an around-the-clock call center headquartered in Lenexa, KS (/www.showings.com), has selected the EntryGuard(TM) fingerprint-based time and attendance system and access control system for several of its Real Estate Call Centers.

Kevin Faherty, Vice President of Centralized Showing Service, Inc.(CSS) emphasized that the major reason for selecting FaceKey fingerprint based time clocks and access control products is to improve efficiency and free the staff to help Realtors® sell their clients' homes. CSS currently schedules over 15 million showings per year and serves more than 100,000 Realtors® in 40 markets across the U.S. Because all the FaceKey products use the same database of users, a company that has a time clock, can quickly install additional FaceKey security products without further enrollment of employees. CSS immediately saw a reduction in its labor costs because of the accuracy of the time clocks. Faherty says that "FaceKey has worked diligently with us to customize payroll reports that fit our operation."

According to Dr. Yevgeny B. Levitov, President and Co-Founder of FaceKey, "Our priority is to produce industry-leading products that provide genuine identification for superior security and save the customer money. CSS with its call centers is the largest company of its kind and prides itself on providing high-quality personalized service. While working with CSS, FaceKey has realized that the EntryGuard(TM) system is a perfect fit for the needs of call centers. Because the time clocks require only the touch of the employee's fingerprint to accurately record the employee's time at work, the system permits call center managers to control labor costs, their largest expense item. We anticipate that the knowledge we have gained in working with a growing company such as CSS, with multiple call centers, will give FaceKey an entry into a new niche in the security industry."
