Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Merger Negotiations to Acquire Clean Coal Technology Firm

NEW YORK, Dec. 5, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTCBB:APPI) announced today that they are in merger negotiations to acquire a clean coal technology company. The proposed agreement will include the merger candidate patented coal technology.

The clean coal patented process is designed to increase the BTU of low quality coal which substantially increases the value of low grade lignite and sub-bituminous coal. The environmentally friendly process captures and removes harmful elements without disintegrating the coal and destroying further processing. Significantly, the patented process requires only 4-18 minutes retention time vs. the industry standard of 2-6 hours. Further development will require limited capital expenditures to be funded via grants from future partners.

APPI recently announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire the Biodiesel company, World Health Energy, Inc., an emerging energy company focusing on biofuels and renewable energy production and distribution. The company plans to produce and market high-quality, low cost B100 Biodiesel to replace traditional fossil fuels.

Making another nice move up today. Closer and closer to uncharted territory  >:D

nutsterrt

APPI may be looking to make a turnaround. The chart has developed a falling wedge and the price is sitting on the 50MA, with some low-volume consolidation the last few sessions.  RSI is sitting around 42, which is beginning to look a little oversold.

Any thoughts?

APPI looks to have bounced off of 50DMA support, appears to have broken through the top of the wedge on much better volume. Currently 16MM shares or so. Check it out.

Just another update...

APPI has now spent the last two sessions poised and closing above the top of the falling wedge. MACD has also turned around, and appears to be diverging positively.

Reasoning appears to be rumor of a merger agreement met. The Letter of Intent for the merger was what drove the stock to new highs at the end of November. If the merger has in fact been agreed upon, our starting point is much higher than it was before, and could drive the stock well past previous highs. Will be interesting to monitor in the coming days.

GLTA, trade it smart!

Keep APPI on the radar tomorrow. Will likely move significantly on this recent PR:

Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Biodiesel Producer World Health Energy, Inc.
Tuesday January 9, 4:15 pm ET

Company to Be Renamed World Health Energy, Inc. to Reflect New Business Plan Focused on Rapidly Growing Renewable Energy Market

NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 9, 2007 -- Advanced Plant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTC BB:APPI.OB - News) today announced the company has completed the acquisition of World Health Energy, Inc., an emerging energy company focused on biofuels and renewable energy production and distribution. A new ticker symbol to reflect the new corporate name of World Health Energy, Inc. will be applied for in the near future.

World Health Energy, Inc. plans to use renewable, cost-effective agricultural products from around the world to develop natural alternative fuels and marketable agricultural by-products such as feedstock. WHE's proposed biodiesel production plants are designed to produce biodiesel that complies to or exceeds international biodiesel production requirements and standards, including the European standard for Biodiesel EN 14214 as well as ASTM D6751 specifications.

In addition to renewable energy production, WHE's unique process will create a newly engineered feedstock as a by-product of the biodiesel production. Due to feedstock shortages worldwide, the Company plans to sell the feedstock as a secondary source of revenue, capitalizing on all aspects of the biodiesel production process.

The company is working towards the most immediate goals of merging with World Health Energy, Inc. and closing on the $1.2 million financing previously announced for the construction of two bio-diesel plants. H & H Equipment, Inc., a privately held Kentucky Corporation with major connections in coal mining, washing facilities, loading and blending facilities and marketing of coal for utilities and other large industrial users, which signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to provide the necessary funding for two biodiesel plants.

As previously announced, the first of the two biodiesel plants will be built in Kentucky and the first customer, a coal mining operation, will require 5 thousand gallons a day. Revenue for the first full quarter of operation in Kentucky is projected at $1 million, or $4 million annually, for the mining operation alone. Another plant is slated for construction in Florida.

Well, APPI released news that their merger with WHE was to go through as planned, and the stocked closed dead even on over 100MM shares. Why? The 70MM shares distributed as compensation were believed to be liquidated on the heels of the PR, resulting in a selloff from highs.

However, I think the stock is still holding up relatively well. While after three sessions it appears the liquidation continues, the stock seems to be holding steady at .006, with five firms consistently receiving shares at the bid (according to L2). With as many shares as have been traded above the current .006 mark, I don't think MMs want this to go any lower, and will hold the price up at this point.

Count me in for more at .006!  GLTA.

I tried all day to pick some up at .006 but I couldn't get filled. Interesting.

Well, it wasn't a very productive week for APPI. Dilution continued to drive the price down, but it became clear that whoever is selling their shares was not interested in doing so below .005.  There was relatively strong selling pressure until the stock hit .005, and then it just stopped. On Friday, the selling let up and the price bounced back to .006.

Still sitting on this one; added at .0052. With some more news and an end to the share dilution, I think it'll make a move.

GLTA!

Quick chart update.

Stock is sitting still; unchanged the last three days. I'm guessing consolidation and investors waiting for news.

Looks to be perfectly content holding these levels as support. As long as it's happy here, I'll stay.

Interesting.....This thing gets coverage initiated as a "speculative buy" with a price target of .06, but why did they have to do it after the bell on a Friday? Hopefully Monday we get a boost. This level has also provided solid support for the stock.

buffaholic

Maybe it was just wishful thinking, but I really thought we'd get a bigger boost from the buy rating and target price of .06. It did gap up but I thought volume would be better.

Updating the APPI chart. Stock has popped back above 50SMA, and MACD has turned positive.

GLTA!

buffaholic

Anybody still in this? Since the coverage initiation of "speculative buy" and price target of .06, .0051 has become decent support. Look put if it goes below that though.

When they finally lock down the financing for the two new plants this thing should pop.
