NMKT just blew through 200 day sma resistance at .56 on 4x volume.. Gotta love this company longer term as well. In a recent (10 days ago) open letter to shareholders CEO is forecasting 200% revenue growth for 2005 to 75M. The Company , by the way is a product reseller and integrator for Cisco and Sun Micro and they have been growing by acquisitions and are now involved in defense, healthcare, etc.
In the same letter, the CEO talks a good bit about shareholder value and indicates that because they are growing through acquisition, Wall Street doesn't get it. So he says they will grow so rapidly and so large that they won't be ignored anymore. Gotta love this guy! By the way, the CEO takes an annual salary of 60k and the COO is at 100k. In the immortal words of the Sundance Kid " Who are these guys?". I'll be in on any pullback.

NMKT seems to be rebounding. It has had trading volume of >1M shares daily for the last 3 days. I don't know if it is good time to get in! 2Q numbers may not be impressive. however 2nd half should be interesting as there could be announcements regarding Contracts and raising Capital for their spin offs. 4Q should be a blast as most of their profits will come in then and we may also hear additional spin offs such as Newmarket China and Newmarket Latin America. May want to wait 3Q/4Q or begin accumulation. JMO

A rather interesting chart...

NMKT have a great fundamental story for sure they are priced way below value based on revenues etc.  But some stocks just don't reflect what they should and this is one. Great news today, biggest ever contract and in China, they should be ON FIRE:

NewMarket Technology Inc. Signs Letter of Intent in China for $24 Million in Annual Recurring Revenue to Bring NewMarket Annualized Revenue to Over $60 Million
Business Wire - July 28, 2005 09:00
Contract Anticipated by September 1st is the First in Large Contract Pipeline Currently Under Development

DALLAS, Jul 28, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- NewMarket Technology Inc. (OTCBB:NMKT) today announced the execution of a letter of intent in China for $24 million in annual sales. The contract is anticipated to be closed on and commence no later than September 1, 2005. The contract calls for NewMarket to provide core systems integration services to a host of business clients mainly in the Zhejiang Province of China. NewMarket will service the contracts in a joint venture with Huali Computer Co. Ltd. Huali is entering into the joint venture with NewMarket as an integral part of a strategy to expand the services currently offered to this existing base of clients already established by Huali.

"NewMarket is dedicated to continuously introducing next generation technologies to the marketplace," explains Philip Verges, CEO of NewMarket Technology Inc. "We do this by first establishing a traditional systems integration relationship with a customer base. After developing a reputation as a trusted vendor, we then introduce next generation technology solutions to the client. This is how we have grown from $1 million in annual revenue three years ago to a current annualized revenue run rate of more than $40 million before factoring in the financial impact of this new opportunity in China. After this recurring revenue contract in China closes, NewMarket will have a $60 million annualized revenue run rate. This first major contract in China and largest contract in the history of NewMarket will give our company the systems integration client base where we can subsequently introduce next generation technologies. The magnitude of this single contract is a good indication of how much faster we expect our business model to grow in China's rapidly expanding economy."

Philip Verges commented from, Ningbo, China where he finalized the letter of intent yesterday, July 27th. Mr. Verges will return to China on August 22nd for the execution of this contract and the definitive joint venture agreement with Huali.

NewMarket has implemented a sales campaign this year to increase the Company's overall revenue through organic sales by increasing the average size of its individual contracts. This contract in China will be the first in a pipeline of large contracts under development. Management views this contract as a watershed event and anticipates the signing of this contract to accelerate the closing of similarly sized contracts.

"Our growth and the resulting increased revenues, profits and improved balance sheet also improve our credibility with prospective clients and partners," said Philip Verges, commenting on NewMarket's anticipated sales acceleration. "When we acquired our first company and we had a negligible market capitalization and a start-up balance sheet, it became clear that the acquisition was a watershed event which led to the rapid acquisition of four additional companies in the following few months. Signing a contract that will result in an increase in annualized revenue approaching what NewMarket reported for the entire 2004 fiscal year is a similar watershed event that we anticipate will lead to the rapid closing of several subsequent large contracts that we have been working on these past few months."

I traded NMKT before when it ran over $1 and then sank to the levels it is at now. I am tempted to take a value position at these levels, not because the chart is a screaming buy, just because I feel it is a great longer term hold. Just a feeling.......bt like Jessie ;)

A few thoughts on this one.  Bought more shares today at .045.

Revenue for 2005 is being touted at 75 million as a positive.

The news today is in China and worth I think 6 million in 2005 and an estimated 30 million in 2006.  First multi million dollar deal that I am aware of.  Went from .60 on some good news all the way back down to .42 recently.   With a multi million dollar deal on the books, credibility should increase.  Granted you have a letter of intent, but it looks pretty rosey to me.

dickfromalberta

I am in again at .43  been on this one for a year sold at a loss when the big drop occurred and i still cant figure why the drop occurred.  news has always been positive with large deals going down. they also have an interest in dfts which i think is a undervalued stock
