but its a better short than long
reminds me at silc when it was 20 dollar excactly the same
the MACD HIst didnt turn yet in the weekly
a close below MA 50 which is near (daily not weekly chart)
no reversal candle in the daily...no signs for a trend back up

no...the day is no over yet we are in a sideway down channel no breakout yet....wait for the last 30min of the day  and lets see which way it closes....probably in the channel....lets see i short it when close of day under 8.50...now at 8.80 looks like a bear trap

NGA reacted well to the $8.5 support and the ascending 50 days SMA, closing at $8.94.

I realize now that it isn't accurate to say Zinc prices are lower now, they're lower for the last couple of weeks, but not below Q1 2007, on average:



Fortunately NGA is able to more than pass on the rise in zinc prices to its costumers:

«The company's ability to increase average selling prices above zinc cost increases had a favorable impact on operating income. The London Metals Exchange (LME) market price for zinc for the first quarter of 2007 averaged $1.57 per pound, compared to $1.02 per pound in the first quarter of 2006, representing a 54% increase. As I've written before, I call this "pricing power".

NGA is just a $109 M market cap. EPS has been growing through the roof:

AZZ reported good earnings today.  Does anyone think that this will help NGA today.  I think it will.  Also it looks as if the market will make a run today since premarket in the QQQQ's  and the SPY are taking off.  Yukii, are you still in NGA?

I don't think yukiii will answer you that, but given AZZ's response to its strong quarterly earnings, showing the galvanizing industry continues to be red hot ...



... I would say that NGA is about to push up and eventually breakout on the upside, regardless of what chart readers say.
