hey randolph this thing is waking up.. >:D patience might pay off...i came back loaded up today...lets see  8)

Today? That means you weren't holding prior to today?

You're right about patience paying off, and GSCP.OB provides us a nice lesson about patience, since over the past three to four weeks there were several positive news releases out and nothing happened. Today, without any news, the stock pushed 12.63% higher :o

It goes to show how stocks, especially micro cap stocks, work.

Fundamentally Globalscape is a stock to own for the long term.

david...i am not the type to hold stocks long time....my first trade was 3.45 in out at 3.80....waited for an end of the consolidation....was planning weeks ago to re-enter at 4.00 what i did yesterday....i better play it save to buy the breakout and to pay 5% more instead of holding at 3.80 and probably loosing my gains.....now i will hold a bit longer i think to 5 or 6 dollar depends on the action here.

cheers ket

more details from the analysts

http://www.andersonstrudwick.com/research_report_pages/07.07-09_GlobalSCAPE_Inc.pdf

Great info ket, thanks a lot :)

I love it when they compare companies with RVBD, because that one trades at a stratospheric valuation!

Lots of juice in that report for the next update, I can't wait to do it!

From what we read here ...

We see that the company's rapid growth engine now is WAFS and CDP products. Now, what the hell is WAFS and CDP?

«Through Availl Inc. (Availl), our wholly-owned subsidiary which we acquired in September 2006, we also provide Wide-Area Files Systems (WAFS) and Continuous Data Protection (CDP) software.  This addition expands GlobalSCAPE's technology base into data replication, acceleration of file transfer, sharing/collaboration and continuous data backup and recovery.  We believe that our expanded product offering uniquely positions us to provide comprehensive, secure transfer, sharing, and replication of files that need to be transmitted inside the user's firewall to distributed offices, or outside the user's firewall to business and trading partners.»

Sounds good, but we see the growth in this area came from an acquisition.

Now this:

TMWD is a $125.2 M market cap which lost ($6.74 M) over the last four quarters.

RVBD is a $3.18 B market cap which lost ($8.3 M) over the last four quarters.

PKTR is a $301 M market cap which earned $4.89 M over the last four quarters.

GSCP.OB is a $71 M market cap which is expected to earn $4.5 M in 2007 (and made money over the last four quarters, but I don't have the exact number here, roughly $2 M).

These analysts are expecting GSCP.OB to make $0.26 in 2007, which I agree. But they expect just $0.33 for 2008, which I disagree, I expect a lot more. If the company delivers $10 M net income in 2008 (25% net profit margin on $40 M revenue after a 100% revenue growth rate from 2007 levels - growth in 2007 is expected to be 82%), that will mean $0.58 EPS for 2008, not $0.33.

Applying the same multiple they did, of 25 times earnings, I get a price per share of $14.5 for 2008, not $8. But, of course, they're being conservative.

GSCP.OB is an extremely attractive stock to own at this point, no doubt about it. I'll keep holding.

David Randolph

Just thinking about 2007, where GSCP.OB is expected to make $0.26 EPS, if the stock were to trade at the Internet Service Providers industry average PER, it would close the year at $0.26*36.81 = $9.57.

Not bad.

But, for example, if we consider RVBD's 2007 earnings multiple of 82.2, then GSCP.OB would close the year at $21.37 :o

It just goes to show how valuations in this Wide Area File Sharing (WAFS) space are red hot now.

I'll continue holding GSCP.OB with strong hands, it appears the bull run is just starting.

David,

GSCP has been listed on the naked short list. What does this mean.Check it out on the Knobias website..

David,

GSCP has been listed on the naked short list. What does this mean.Check it out on the Knobias website..

It means that some people sold shares short, even though they couldn't borrow shares to do it. That probably happened because GSCP.OB is relatively illiquid, but it doesn't mean anything from a fundamental standpoint.

Let me know if you have further doubts.

Nothing changed in GSCP.OB, I'll keep holding the stock.

David please check this announcement about listing at the amex
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1112920/000110465907054311/a07-19635_18a12b.htm

GSCP is registering its shares on the AMEX. I expect them to issue a press release announcing the fact (but it's not really necessary).

I also enjoyed this:

«At July 16, 2007, there were 17,232,256 shares of GlobalSCAPE common stock issued and outstanding.»

Which is almost the same as:

«As of March 22, 2007 there were 17,225,226 shares of common stock outstanding.»

I'll keep holding GSCP, the best is yet to come.
