Also, don't forget that 1Q 2008 earnings will be announced just 6 weeks from now. The quarter will end on Monday.

Considering that 1Q 2007 revenues were only $14.7M, the expecetd 1Q 2008 of $30M in revenues will beat last year's numbers by 100%.

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=SOYO.OB

Also remember, the Super Bowl was played in Q1 and per my conversations with "people in the know" sales of HDTVs were brisk in the US and Canada (Prive) going into the Super bowl.

Anyway, what I am trying to tell you is that there are potentially huge catalysts for explosive gains going forward including a potential extension of the credit limit, and the impending launch of the Honeywell line later this year. Towards the end of the year we will have Holiday sales and people buying cheap HDTVs to replace their soon-to-be-obsolete analog bulky old TV sets.

And sooner or later SOYO will be trading in the AMEX exchange here institutional investotrs can start buying this undervalued gem.

The bottom line is that there are a lot of catalysts for explosive gains in the next few months to few years

We increased our revenues 95% from 2006, we had our most profitable year ever and we established new brands. With the SOYO and Le Vello brands selling well, the reception our products received at CES in January and the launch of the Honeywell Brand of Consumer Electronics products, 2008 is already off to a great start, and is poised to be an even better year. Our entire team worked very hard to make 2007 a successful year for us, and we are all very pleased with these record financial results.''

.." Our biggest limitation as a Company has been that we have grown so quickly that we reached our maximum credit lines for buying products from our suppliers. We are still working on new credit facilities, but regardless of whether or not we can expand our credit, I am confident that we can reach $140,000,000 in revenues and earn a net profit of $5,000,000 in 2008"

.." The Company expects to see significant growth in its SOYO and Prive brands, and a new revenue stream with the introduction of the Honeywell Consumer Electronics product line."

- In 2007 SOYO entered into an exclusive long-term license agreement with Honeywell to manufacture LCD HDTVs and a full line of consumer electronic products bearing the Honeywell brand name.

SOYO will launch the Honeywell LCD HDTVs in the 3rd or 4th Quarter of 2008 per company comments. More clarity about this on Monday's earnings release/CC

This is the initial Honeywell line that SOYO plans to launch this year:

* Honeywell Altura™ LCD full HD TV's with sizes ranging from 42" to 82"

* Honeywell Arius™ LCD Monitors from 19" to 24"

* Honeywell SecuraDrive™1.8 inch Portable Storage in 80GB to 160GB Capacities

* Honeywell Airlite™ 700 Bluetooth Headsets

- SOYO is well positioned to take advantage of the conversion to all-digital broadcasting scheduled for February 2009. SOYO's least expensive, well-reviewed LCD HDTVs start in the low $400's.

"Our entire team worked very hard to make 2007 a successful year for us, and we are all very pleased with these record financial results."

Also on March 31, 2008, Ming Tung Chok, the president and CEO of SOYO announced that he and his wife, Nancy Chu, Chief Financial Officer of the Company today purchased 776,000 shares of the Company's common stock from the Company in a private placement at a price of $1.25 per share.

Mr. Chok further announced his plans to purchase another 750,000 shares of the Company's common stock in a private placement during April 2008 at a price of $1.25 per share.

3/31/08 CC notes:

- Gave guidance for 2008. " At least $140M in revenues and at Least $5M in net income"... assuming no extension on their existing credit limit.

- Non-dilutive financing will be announced soon. Management is not interested in dilutive financing despite many offers to that effect.

- The new Honeywell line of LCD HDTVs ranging from 47" to 82" will be launched in May - June 2008.

- Honeywell LCD HDTVs will be sold at large retailers (Fry's, others) and some of the other avenues they currently use (OSTK, etc)

- The company opted for not selling SOYO HDTVs at WalMart USA. SOYO has had huge success with WalMart Canada where they sell SOYO's Prive brand of LCD TVs. SOYO made the decision not to have to have to depend on a dominant outlet for their products.

- Several new model smaller LCD HDTVs (to 22')and larger monitors (up to 26") will be launched in upcoming days, weeks to address niche mnarkets

- SOYO is prepared to take advantage of the shift to all-digital broadcasting in February 2009. Exec commented that while larger companies take forver to make a decision, SOYO being very lean and focused can roll out products a lot quicker.

- Sales in Mexico are expected to grow significantly

- Currently on a major campaign to attract Hispanic buyers in the US. A virtually untapped segment of the population.

- Company officials do not want to resort to a reverse split to get to the minimum $2 share price that AMEX requires for initial listing. They believe that by systematically executing their business plan they will get there soon. They said that they already met all the other AMEX requirements is response to a question from one of the callers.

SOYO will announce record 1Q 2008 earnings next week. I expect 100% revenues and net income growth and an update on the Honeywell line of LCD HDTVs

bounceahead

SOYO's analyst has high expectations for 2008 and beyond. His new revenue target for 2008 is $166M....which is consistent with CEO's projection of " at least $140M revenues." He dropped his net income projection for 2008 to 11c/share, which is 90% higher than 2007. His new target is $2. And  that does not even assume a trip to the AMEX.

bounceahead

According to IR 1Q 2008 earnings will be announced in about 2 weeks. I expect the following:

- $30M - $35M revenues vs. $14.6M in 1Q 2007

- $700K - $1M net income vs. $460K in 1Q 2007

- Update on the May- June launch of the Honeywell line of LCDs and other consumer electronics products.

- Reiterate that the CREO purchased another 760,000 shares at $1.25

.....not bad for a 77c stock with a 8 forward PE and a 0.4 PEG tading at 0.3 times sales

This from Yahoo. The poster is 100% bright:

" To me this is like Christmas in April (being able to load up at 70c thanks to MMs games). The CEO and his wife paid $1.25/share for 1.5M shares on March 31, 2008....adding to their over 20M shares. Where else do you see insiders buying at a 40% premium over the price at the time they bought those shares??.....No where.

Hold your shares for a year and they will be worth over $3. I know I am.

This is great news for SOYO:

Corning Upbeat on LCD TV Market04/24/08 - 02:02 PM EDT

Shares of Corning (GLW - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr) got a boost after the company's CEO said its model for the LCD TV market may be too conservative.

CEO Wendell Weeks, speaking at the company's annual meeting Thursday, observed that the LCD TV market appears to have grown faster than Corning predicted. He pointed out several trends that indicate an increase in demand could come, including a swifter-than-expected replacement of traditional cathode-ray technology with LCDs and a pickup in the number of TVs per household.

Does that mean that I would have a May Christmas if I buy now ahead of earnings next week?

At 72c the downside seems minimal for a company trading at a 5 forward PE, 0.2 PEG, and 0.25 P/S with strong insider support. And should I add that they will launch the Honeywell line of HDTV shortly?

OK. I guess I convinced my self   ;D

SOYO, a US-based LCD HDTV manufacturer, is starting to move up ahead of record earnings tomorrow. SOYO will rally well above $1 with earnings and the announcement of the official launch of the Honeywell line of HDTVs and consumer electronic products.

A recent research note predicts 18c/share net income for next year and revenue of $220M or 8 times today's market cap. SOYO recorded $110M in  revenues or 100% growth in 2007 and earned 6c/share net income.

The CEO bought 1.5M shares at $1.25 last month in a private placement to add to his over 20M shares or about 55% of the O/S shares. He paid 50% over the going rate. He did so to help launch the Honeywell line next month.
