Please place your suggestions or comments and I'll start covering them in a few moments.
I'm holding TRMM and HGR and I'm not planning to sell them in the morning.
Have a nice day :)
Hi David, please your opinion for ASIA. Q report yesterday. Nice after hours.
Thanks!!!
I'm glad you're not posting anything now, as I'm digesting the current 7% fall on TRMM, to $3.08.
I think it is a buying opportunity, as I see the value implied by the recent deals at $6.8 a share.
OFI
New deal with sales worth 43 million.
Just realized OFI...may not be the one for this type of portfolio...but the fundamentals look good. ;)
Could you look at HIHO? I had large position and most at profit last week. Stock pays dividends and might be in for another runup. rudy

Still preparing the new computer for videos, but I want to say results don't impress me at all. EPS guidance for Q1 2007 is $0.03 - $0.04 EPS, so about $0.12 for the full year, perhaps? Even if it is $0.15, earnings multiple would be 56.
ASIA looks extremely expensive.
In fact I just sold it short at $8.37 for the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio (http://www.3stocksonfire.org/3stocksonfire_3sof.php) !
hi,
what do you think of trmm at these levels . some of the fire seems to have gone out. is thisa buying op? or will it drift below 3?
thanks,
maxi
There's a server problem with the Portfolio's backup, so I wasn't able to put this short sale on the portfolio just yet, but it is already on the Trades (http://www.3stocksonfire.org/trading/index.php?topic=8769.msg85690#msg85690) thread.
Ramsburg is solving the technical problem as we speak.

Hi rickjust, nice to see you :)
Yes, TRMM lost a bit of the fire from yesterday, but you know, it's much better to have a lower open than a higher one followed by a loss of momentum.
Candlesticks suggest the stock may have a change to push to new highs today, the short term setup is bullish. I'm going to hold it some more towards the end of the session, not expecting it to die so soon. After the early birds profit taking, it will probably shoot higher again.
We'll see :)
BHP moving with some volume

BHIP
How about EVCC, i cant seem to find any news on it, yet it's up over 300% (21% today)in the last 2 months. My mom saw the letters in a dream and told me to buy it back when it was .75. She also saw the letters ELN in a dream and i bought that at $3. you might want to hire the crazy old broad.
IGAI looks like it may take off-watching for volume

I bought it at $3.80 for the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio.

Jesus Quilan, I would sell it right now (@$0.093 now). Sales are rising 1125% from a very low base of just $34 K in Q4, 2004.
That means sales for Q4 2006 were $348.5 K, below the $531 K in Q3 2006 and $506 in Q2 2006.
That stock will tank when people realize the news.
Anyway, nice trade, congrats :)

David you analyze short picks? If so CFC is my short pick, earnings are out january 30th one of the top suprime lenders. The subprime industry is doing horrible, many suprime lenders are closing up shop. Here is a nice website tracking the subprime lenders going under http://ml-implode.com/ . Im suprised CFC was still over its 50dma as of earlier today. Volume today is already half of average volume currently down over -2%.
yeah ..i guess you were ..;) im from aveiro. pmcs had some big news lately so their guidance maybe can top the estimates..

Hi Rudy :)
I didn't have time to see much, but the company looks fundamentally strong. I would ignore my final comment about dilution, the balance sheet is strong enough for them not to need that.
Technically not on fire today with just 15,000 shares traded, but the chart is bullish and fundamentals look sound.
Good luck :)

The short term chart is truly compelling, I wonder if it will be able to cross over the $3.15 resistance level. Moving up on bad news (quarterly results were really bad), but trading much below revenues, so, probably the bad news is completely priced in.
The setup is for higher prices over the short term, good luck !

Well, I guess people want to see something about their suggestion, not just "not on fire", "not on fire", lol.
But thanks for the suggestion, let's keep this moving, keep up :)
You have to be quick with these trade. With BHIP up so much today, is there more room for it to go higher? Or is there resistence up ahead based on the initial research? I am sure it's covered in the video but from work I cannot access the video. >:(

I can't study PK stocks due to the lack of information. Unless one is a pure technical player it is almost impossible to know what you're doing on PK.
and what I meant by "you have to be quick" was referring to me. I can't hit the refresh button fast enough. lol

There's some resistance at $3.15. But I think the stock has a chance of pushing through that. It looks cheap (although it has many, many problems) and is reacting positively to bad news. That is a short term bullish setup.
Good luck :)

Small market cap is good, that's what we're looking for. If the market cap is already $1 B or more, it would be much harder to make a big move over the short term.
FUEL is 12th on my list, I'll get there :)

PMCS is already a $1.3 B market cap company, so not what we're looking for here. Moreover the company looks expensive to me, although there are positive expectations for 2007, I'm not sure PMCS will live up to them.
Also, the revenue and earnings multiple tells me the positive scenarios is kind of priced in. Good luck though :)
David, some fresh meat just hit the market: IPO today of OCLS. Opened at 8, went to 8.40, dropped below opening and is now trading around 8. Do you do run downs on new stocks? Also, TRMM seems to be trading sideways. Do you think it will go up today? Thanks, rudy

Man, according to my method, this is one of the cheapest stocks on the market. Earnings can be cut in half and it would still be trading with a below average earnings multiple.
So, I guess the stock is already, at least partially, discounting a big slowdown in the housing market. Technically it may go down to the $39 ascending support or so ... but the long term trend is bullish.
Good luck :)

Generally I don't like recent IPO stocks because many times they don't sell enough at the IPO and dilute shareholder's value right after they hit the public market. Also, usually there isn't sufficient financial information to make a trend.
TRMM ... I don't know about today. At $3.11 now, I'm in at $3.18. I see justification for it to rise much higher, but perhaps today is a pause day.
It can be on fire again tomorrow. Stocks do this many times, a strong up move in one day, then a pause after a lower open (the lower open is essential to keep the short term momentum alive), and another leg up on the third day.
I wouldn't mind if it closes around where it is now ...

Could you review IMOS please David, if you have the fundamental software up and running now? It made a new high for the current bull run today at 7.40, and the 52 week high is 8.32. The thing I'm most impressed by is the combination of revenue growth (in the business of making semi test equipment for the high growth LCD and DDR II spaces, as you might be aware as an AMKR holder), the valuation metrics (PE is about 7, 2006 revenues will be greater than market cap.), and the chart is looking great.
Thanks for all the hard work you do around here, David.

I just bought it at $1.56 for the 3 Stocks on Fire Portfolio (http://www.3stocksonfire.org/3stocksonfire_3sof.php). Closed the short on ASIA (I really shouldn't short, I'm lousy at it) at $8.35. I don't want to do day trades because of the pattern day trader rule, but just 1 in a week doesn't put any problem with that rule.

If what you say is accurate (and I don't doubt that it is) then IMOS deserves more than a 3 minute look. I'll try to make a full video analysis on it for tomorrow's session (it's a 10 minute video with fundamental graphs that I usually do on the Premium area).

NAWL.ob...quite a move, currently up 187.5%, but the market cap is only 465k even after almost tripling in a day. That has to be one of the smallest market caps I've ever seen.
And I'm pretty sure Yahoo's EPS information on IMOS is incorrect. You can check the IMOS thread in the Previous 3sof and the IMOS thread in the regular Stock Picking forum for some awesome fundamental charts from la-onda. I know Yahoo doesn't have all the quarterly Income Statement info, but it's easily found in those 2 threads, thanks to la-onda.
