I'm talking about Melfelf's cool technical charts with all that cloud stuff above the current prices. I want to get his latest take.

Why do I have this sneaking suspicion that Pepsi or someone like them showed up and said wait a minute we'll give you more........ and forced CCE's hand. CCE almost stole the company!

Well Well,

Interesting news out today after the bell. CCE will not take majority control, now only seeks 10%. MDA still expected by CCE.

I think this is a positive for BRVO. I wonder if BRVO said something like if you want control pay up - 16 cents a share don't cut it. At least I hope that's what happened. Go Roy Warren. Take care of the shareholders.

David, what's your take?

I want to set straight a misunderstanding about a statement I made.

Roy's comment about not building up the company only to see it get sold to Pepsi was in regards to Coke. He said CCE wants majority control of BRVO because they (CCE) don't want to build up the company only to see it sold to Pepsi. With majority control they can prevent such a transaction.

"It is anticipated"

(that CCE's total investment would be 38M)

Doesn't mean it will be. I think this is a lowball offer. We'll see how well BRVO can negotiate. I think they both want eachother and that CCE should be willing to pay 1-1.20 per share for the 81M. We'll see

David may be right about the short term and I won't discount his analysis. After all he put me onto this stock. I do hope he's wrong, however.

My own take is different. l think the deal is misunderstood by the market and will be wildly positive for BRCVO holders with some guts. I think it's in the category of one of the best investment opportunities available in US equities right now.

The Raging Bull board shows the confusion over the deal and represents the yin and yang of the debate.  Miggie, Clarksavage and Binnieo have some good reads.

We'll see soon enough how it all shakes out once this deal is degaussed.

(OT, David I just read Jimmy Rogers book Hot Commodities. You recently posted you were a futures trader at one time. From Rogers book now I know futures trader is the same thing as commodities trader. If you don't mind my asking, what commodities did you trade? I'd like to invest in commodities but I don't know where to start. Any ideas? What commodities look appealing to you now? Rogers likes oil, lead, coffee and sugar. He also has a commodities index fund but it's not for sale in Minnesota yet.)

Peace Out (from Napoleon Dynamite- best comedy of the decade!)

I called the company and talked to the CEO. I told him I was confused and didn't understand the market reaction.

He said the market doesn't understand what an opportunity this is for brvo and its shareholders. He said to get Coke's distribution channel and marketing muscle, we had to give them some cheap shares. He said if it was a buyout at this price that would be different, but shareholders get to go along for the ride with CCE doing a lot of the work.

He said they weren't going to build up the company only to see it get sold to Pepsi.

We'll see how this shakes out, but as for me, I added shares today.

I do not understand today's action.  ???

I saw the news before market open and briefly thought I might be able to retire. Or at least buy lunch for everyone at work.

I finally had time to check the price about 15 mins after open (1.09) and thought it must be halted.

I am still mystified, I must be missing something. However, I do feel more comfortable holding now with the CCE imprimatur. Maybe speculators were expecting a better offer.

I bot aobo at near David's price. I like the concept, Chinese medicine. Hey, they've been around awhile. Besides, I work in healthcare in the US and ... need I say more?

Kanarri-

I tried the strawberry starburst at walgreens and did not like it either. That is until I put rum in it.

What flavor did you try?

Elite-

Have you given a look at AAPL? I shorted some recently and covered Friday for a small gain. It has that rounding top with crumbling-like weakness on the right side like I remember with ADCT some years ago. Characteristic of distribution, IMO.

Let me know what you think

PS I love the short thread inaddition to the long
