As I already said several times before; Im relatively new to TA and only trading for 2 months right now with a (very) small amount of money. (1800 euro's right now)

Currently I'm looking for some software to draw charts and perform TA with. But as you can imagine I don't want to buy a program like Metastock for $500 (at this moment that is). Anyone got some tips?

hey nikao  :)

I have really liked using www.stockcharts.com for my T/A.  They offer T/A drawing(annotation), listmaking and scans.  I pay around $30/month because I wanted to add real-time service.  If you don't need that it would be $20/month.  Check it out  ;) ;D

nikao,

you might be interested in this site..tho, no provisions to draw. I don't believe one can use these charts exclusively without taking into account news, earning etc.

eliteG, I have yet had to pay a subscription to access stockcharts.com. Maybe there are features I'm not able to use but can;t think of anything I need either......

good luck

you can't store the charts you draw online for free and the charts are tiny ;)

I will look at the site you mentioned. Thx for the tip ;)

quotetracker.com  is free - you have to provide that data feed but most brokers do this and if not you can find one for maybe $10 a month. Quotetracker is not really a charting program but it has charts you can draw on.

Someone mentioned stockcharts and that is the most popular to draw charts as it is not expensive and you can easily share the charts with others.

I also use Qcharts a great real time charting program - the program is free and the service starts at about $100/month  quote.com
