Grubb & Ellis ( GBE) Apartment REIT, a non-traded real estate investment trust sponsored by Grubb & Ellis Company , announced a 182 million dollar deal to acquire nine multifamily properties from affiliates of MR Holdings, plus the associated property management business. The company said the deal would increase equity by 18%, and immediately boost bottom line earnings.
