David Randolph

Ok, it will be SIRI. When I post the analysis on SIRI I will ask for another ...

Thank you no fear, have a nice day !

cumulina

I'll step up next in line with:

SOSA

(Stolt Offshore)

This is really neat, David!

Thanks.

Happy trading...

:)

Cumulina.

Next one in line HOGC.OB.   :)

I see SIRI's results were out yesterday and the market reaction isn't much inspiring. Technically this advance phase has been made with much less volume than the last one, and that is a sign of weakness (volume as a technical indicator must be used in relative terms, you should compare volume now with its historical average).

I've made some analysis on SIRI and thought the stock came up just to close the gap showed on the next chart:

Over the short term I see an important ascending trendline break:

If today the stock closes lower we get a technical sell signal that will probably take the stock down at least to the first support area around $6.10. To remain bullish (holding the trendline on close), SIRI needs to close today above $6.87.

Good luck nofear !

Now someone give me another, thanks ! (you need to post after the analysis, not before, thanks)

It's a strange thing HOGC is down so much over the past two years, considering the sector it's involved, the Oil and Gas sector. I guess the fall happened because the company had little production and revenues (I have no time to dig much):

On Friday we've had these news: Heartland Oil and Gas announces gas sales contracts, provides operational update

So the company is not dead and doesn't seem to be dying.

Over the short term I see the stock is building a base and attempting to rally. Volume suggests the lower prices have attracted some buyers. Perhaps a run to the long term descending resistance is next, that line is now around $1.07 (goes down $0.009 everyday):

I would do this:

1) Buy if the stock closes above $0.56 with a target price of $1.07 (going down a bit everyday)
2) Sell if the stock ever closes below the short term support line, which today will stand at $0.43

Good luck dhiraj19  :) Now someone give me another, thanks !

David,

Thanks a lot....

To add more.. HOGC only has 80 mil outstanding shares....Considering its an OB stock, the float is low.....
One philosophical question.

Which tools do you use for drawing lines on charts to see the resistances and I want to learn that now after learning TA candlestick analysis, volume accumulation and also selling at a small loss ( 5-7%) when stock goes down.

Thanks,
Dhiraj

Stolt Offshore SA (SOSA). The Group's principal activities are those of offshore contractors, providing services to subsea oil and gas operations from exploration to decommissioning. These services include the design, supply and installation of all the subsea archicture, from the subsea wellheads to fixed or floating process platforms. The Group operates in more than 60 countries and has regional offices in the UK, France, the USA, Norway, Singapore and Brazil.

Uau cumulina, now I call this a real bull stock:

Considering the sector, this is not strange. The chart has many gaps because this is an ADR, so the open on the US is always influenced by quotes at the original market (for curiosity, what's that market? Norway? Denmark?)

Since this is an oil related company it's impossible to know until where it will rise, and it would be very dangerous to consider it overvalued (it looks like it is, but that doesn't mean, at all, the price won't continue to rise, it doesn't mean it won't rise tenfold, ok?)

Anyway, this is no small or medium cap stock, I see $2.33B in market cap.

I only know a way to play these kind of stocks with strong up moves: try to buy it close to an ascending support line and hold the stock as long as the ascending trend remains in place:

I would try to buy it around $11 and hold for the expected speculative oil bubble that's coming. When oil hits $80 or something and this stock breaks the uptrend line I would sell it and probably short it. But for now bulls have the ball and it wouldn't surprise me to see this stock at a new all time high, above $20, before it's all over.

Good luck cumulina, I hope you have this stock  :D  Now someone give me another, the last one for today ... thanks !
