David,

Great pick on HYRF, I am also holding EYII at your buy point and just sold CRGO today.  I hope EYII will snap back, the feel I get from the board is that it could indeed happen.

Here is my question:

Regarding HYRF, you mention in your original post that this is a play for the $1,000,000 portfolio.  That being the case, is your sell target exactly a double from your buy point? Or will you be holding this one past a double when it gets there?

Thank you,

JB

Help me with the conversion if you can.

The article says.... 100,000 square meter facility located near Shanghai,

In square feet, my calculator says over 1 million.
Cannot be correct ?

Just one opinion, do the research

422fwhp

Not sure is this is correct either but according to this website the conversion factor from square meters to square feet is:

10.76 sq.m = .0929 sq.ft

so I come up with

100000 sq.m        .0929 sq.ft
__________   *  __________  = 863.4 sq.ft
      1                 10.76 sq.m

It's the other way around 422.

Should be 1 sq mt = 10.76 sq ft.  Think about a meter equaling approximately a yard which we all know is 3 feet.  And squaring. ;)

Our building would then be 100000 sq mt = 1,076,000 sq ft (fill got it).  Not a small space.  ;D

That would also equal 24+ acres.  Is that the right size?  That's huge!

fill_the_gap

That has to be a typo on their part.
I will call tomorrow.
Not a huge deal, just blew me away with the conversion.

:o

Ah yes, I see the error of my ways  ;D

Misread the chart...good catch.

...and to think, I have a minor in math  :-\

I was out most of the day and come back to CHA-CHING!  Anyone taking any off the table...I don't want to be a pig  :)

Thanks for your posts guys  :)

My quote:

Well, it did reach $0.335, when it was up 40% during this session  :o

No, no, EYII is the $1,000,000 experience stock (the worst stock I ever bought, I can tell you  :-[), HYRF is on the 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio and I'm not thinking about selling with just 100% profit.

I think it is not too late to buy HYRF.OB. I will definitely continue to hold the stock, I can only see strong sales and profits ahead.

David,

Do you think EYII will follow HYRF ?
A potential conclusion is that HYRF has manufacturing capabilites to get redy for the EYII order ?

Aside from your buy price, do you not like EYII future ?

David ... I am all over this one and in a big way.  What a great find, and in my own state of North Carolina.  An afternoon press release suggests that this may be bigger than we all had hoped.  Relevant portion below:  Dave

MARTI Provides Details Regarding China Manufacturing
Wednesday September 7, 3:38 pm ET
North Carolina Production Contract

RALEIGH, NC--(MARKET WIRE)--Sep 7, 2005 -- Metals & Arsenic Removal Technology, Inc. (MARTI), a portfolio company of HydroFlo, Inc. (OTC BB:HYRF.OB - News) continues to expand on released information regarding their new agreement for pitcher and filtration system manufacturing contracts. Yesterday the company announced an agreement with a major Chinese international plastics injection molding firm for production of their water filtration units. MARTI went on to confirm speculation that the contract with their European contractor, WAL S.A., based on a mutual agreement between both parties, was terminated to ensure increased production through the current distribution channel.

Yesterday's release of information also declared initial production estimates in amounts of up to 1,200 pitchers and 4,000 filters daily; however, after further negotiation and discussion with the manufacturer, these numbers have increased by more than 5 times their original projections. The company today announced that approximately 8,000 pitchers and 25,000 filters will begin the initial daily production goal. The new manufacturer will produce over 2 million pitchers and 6 million filters per year; providing the company more opportunity for order fulfillment than ever before.

MARTI also announced that contracts are complete with a textile firm in Eastern North Carolina to manufacture the ARTI-64(TM) media for their filtration units. The company will provide an abundant supply of inserts for each of the water filtration units with the patented arsenic and bacterial removal technology.

The e-mail and reply from Investor Relations.
I would like to know more and will contact Dennis the CEO.

Jeff,

I will quote the company directly, "100,000 sq. metre facility."

Regards,
Rebecca

I love EYII fill_the_gap, but it is the worst stock I've ever bought because I'm losing 59% on it. Anyway, I believe over the long term fundamentals will win and the stock will rise, but I don't know when. For know the market doesn't agree this was a good pick, in fact, it says it was awful and the market is always right.

Wow, awesome news  :o, thanks for posting bigdogs !

I'll just let the profits run, this stock has the potential to be a multi-bagger for the 3 Pennies on Fire Portfolio.

When would you take some off the table?  I've been a pig in the past and don't wish to repeat  with such great profits getting in at .175

Many thanks to you!
