Possible Buy,,,Momentum,Money Flow,Percentage of Resistance indicators all looking good for a buy,,,and low volume spill has already happened.Any thoughts?Thks

Hello Weightlifter,

I would be a bit careful with DSTI. Look at the chart below.

The stock climbed to point A with enormous volume. Then it took a 2 month correction and is back at testing the highs. But there's less volume at this attempt. This shows me fewer people believe the stock will advance, there's less money betting on that outcome.

So this $8-$9 level might be the high for the medium term ... but you know, the charts don't predict the future, but they can give you indications of what investors are thinking.

Thks for the quick reply and your feedback,You have a excellent site here,, :).

DSTI is one of my favorites, along with ENER.
I believe in their strong potential, especially looking for the long term.

Good luck with your trading.

Happy trading...

There are better picks on this site  with lower risk, in that range.  Pehaps this stock will go up over time, but who wants to wait that long and how long will that be?

When the market is up this week, but still light volume, we have to be careful with stocks that are not showing bullish behavior.  Volume is key to a move up past resistance.   It may go up with low volume, but can it sustain that and is it real?  I am not sure.

That's just my personal opinion.  Good luck trading.

EliteG do you have any target for this stock in mind? Or will wait for the momentum to fizzle out.

Weightlifter

check out my post going back onĀ  May 20 ;) I was in at $7.44 ;D

stocky - I will take half out at the first sign of weakness, and let the rest ride out for the moment.  Protective stop starting out at a lil under $10. If it does jump a lot, I do daytrade my swing positions sometimes.  I will sell just before a whole number like 20...and look to buy in the dips.  Mental barriers on this one would be 12.50,15.17.50,20 at this point.

Weighlighter - just awesome  8)

Thanks eliteG. I will be tracking your moves  ;)

Kicking myself for not pulling the trigger earlier. I had a target buy at $6.25-6.50 but it obviously didnt get that low...

Looking to get back in around the low 9.00's if i get that opportunity. Could possibly see more rally tomorrow morning after a sell off at the open. Good momentum here. Riskly play to buy in tomorrow after a 60% run today.

I can't predict the initial sell off tomorrow but DSTI being a low float stock, there will be eager buyer at the very first dip and thats the precise reason that you did not saw any meaningful dip today. Also there are some traders who jump the stock at open. This usually lead to gap up. If the crude futures more rises for tomorrow then you can see more of the action in all energy related stocks.
