Hi,
Suggest a word of caution.  It is entirely possible that this news was known 'behind the scenes' & was the cause for the selloff recently.  Rarely does this sort of announcement lead to accumulation.  Often it leads to distribution.

Set you stops & beware for further tumbling if 'upside volume' dries up.

Bought my small chunk back mid-day slightly less than my previous sale price  ::)

I like the uptick on volume.  We'll see.

Anyone think this was a short attack?

Who knows what tomorrow will bring.  But it sure feels better holding it today than it has for the past few days.  A great big WHEW!

I need to choose if I am going between AOB and HOM and I choose HOM due to news that shift its fundamental. Go HOM Go...

That was a very wise move Tugsinav,
HOM was chose  in 3SOF portfolio for its fondamental 2 weeks ago, since Dave dump it for technical raison, now the stock rebound from  lowers supports lines, I feel it is still a very promissing stock IMHO!
And welkom in our HOM thread!

The last two candlesticks formed a Bullish Kicking Pattern . This is a bullish reversal pattern that marks a potential change in trend. Though it is highly reliable confirmation is still recommended.

QuoteAussieTrader Right now HOM is consolidating around $5, in fact it is fighting somewhat to turn $5 resistance into $5 support a battle between bulls and bears taking place here for sure.

Bears won the $5 fight, I stopped out around $4.4. No problem I have a 50%+ gain and can look to get back in if the chart sets up right.

HOM closed at the LOD which is never a good technical sign. I would expect to see consolidation around the $4 zone now and await the averages / support to re-position. Out of interest take a look at the AOB chart and then HOM chart, both had a bull bear fight at $5 with spike action through it. Both succombed to selling pressure and fell back hard. Their charts are very similar.

A word of caution, a lot of strong charts are turning over right now. HOM fundamentals haven't changed, just the chart.

Hey I'm back in HOM quicker than I anticipated. Following the gap open a nice flag developed supported by the 9ema on my daily chart, combined with the great revenue news meant I had to get back in, which I did at $4.60. At the same time I was watching AOB at the 50SMA and lower bollinger band $3.50 with super support, but got distracted and didn't re-enter AOB, but what the heck ;) Todays close would suggest continuation Friday, lets see.

Hi,

Suggest caution.  A gap to fill below & it will attract 'selling shares' IF the volume doesn't rise to the upside & soon.  Suggest taking profits now & buy back lower after the gap gets filled.

good fortune to you however you play it

I'm a newbie but one of the first things i learned is that there are different kind of gaps and that they don't always have to be filled!

These charts you guys post are beautiful works of art.  Also a bit like constellations, in that you  can subjectively interpret what you're seeing.  Does the URSA constellation look like a bear or a bowl of chicken soup?  It's all an education to me.

I'm still holding since 2.97. This has got some legs to it. Last year I owned BMHC from 17 and sold at 32, today it's 93.26 a share. Who knows?

HOM rested on Friday after the bounceback. It now sits on support (blue line, with 9ema just below) but significantly still has to deal with the pscyh $5 level. A close above $5.20 area would get things moving again. I am watching carefully to make sure previous uptrend line doesn't turn into to much of a resistance and send HOM away. Many stocks do return to their previous support lines (after a failure of it) only for it to now be  big resistance.

I have been out for a few days (thanks Willey).  Hopefully HOM is setting up for another trade- maybe filling the gap?
