dont understand this stock either. favorable news drags this stock down. Govt contracts should move this stock up. Unless this company is very poorly managed or some other factor that is unknown to us keeping this stock down. vector vest has .13 a share for valuation 

Sometimes just need to add some patience with you're trading.I'll give a stock a month to see some reaction then I'll start thinking about selling and how much of a loss I'm willing to take.All stocks move up and down ,how long you are willing to wait will be the question you will have to ask.I have learned from my past mistakes from selling to fast, to be patient.Held a stock onced for 2 months and finnally decided to sell and the very next day it shot up more than what I had a limit price on it for.Been kicking myself in the rear ever since.Good luck with the market and you're decisions.

  have had this stock since september and have been averaging down.  There is huge amount of insider selling going on  the last two months. Iknow how it feels to sell to fast
   i have done that twice this week and the next day  it rises by  50% and more.
what is your take on the insider selling issue

Don't know why their would be so much insider selling with all the recent news that been given for them.Sometimes insiders are given shares as options and they have to hold them for a certain length of time before they are allowed to sell them.Don't know if that's whats going on but it might be.I myself think this will be a good stock for long term investors.

I don't know how much effect this has had on MRKL performance but it has been on the naked short list since Aug 24.

Don't know to much about naked short selling but you have put some thought in my head about this.I'm going to start learning about this subject  so I can stay away from stocks doing this.Went to the link you gave .It was interesting I'm going to check it out more,might be helpful for trading information.Have learned there is a lot of lessons to be learned trading stocks and you've got to study it everyday if you plan on winning this game.

  what is naked short selling

I'm no expert on it but naked shorting has to do with shorting stocks when you don't have the borrowed stocks in hand.  It is illegal but it is done anyway and it can really drive a stock price down.

I should also study it more.  It seems that when a stock is done with the naked shorting, it should be ready to spring back up - MRKL being a prime example.  I also see on the naked short list that some stocks don't go down with the shorting and that naked shorting wouldn't allow for a short squeeze since the people doing the naked shorting wouldn't have to cover to avoid the squeeze.

Any thoughts from our more experienced folks?

Loadded my bags at 0.042 on Spet. 20 and bought more on Sept. 21 at 0.04!

Ok AMEP, i bought in at .045...had to wait for the high of the day of course....couldnt catch ckei...so i figured this is still close to the bottom...lets hope it goes nice and high.

ps..this stock used to go down on news for some reason...finally news that actually makes it go up for  once..i guess when u hit bottom, there is no where else to go.

You did indeed buy at the high of the day that time but give it some time . I am sure you can make an easy double out of it.

do you figure mrkl will breakout   The volume was certainly up today
and it did end the day up even though it was marginal.
