Yes true. Though today it was 1.5x Avg Volume. May be we see some more action next week. Dont have a position in it yet.

My technical analysis skills are very raw, so I wont be in a position to comment on it. However, due to the biotech conference next week, most of the biotech/pharma camp is bullish. Plus the trend with SVNT is on the up. If the volume shows up you can flow with the tide. Also to me it looks like a good stock with decent fundamentals. However all biotech/pharma stocks are more risky then the high octane tech stocks. So caution needed.

I have not taken any position in SVNT yet. Waiting for volume and gauging the NASDAQ direction in general.

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Savient Pharmaceuticals Inc. (SVNT :

SVNT13.42, +0.68, +5.3% ) shares rose 7.8% to $12.57 in Monday morning trade after the East Brunswick, N.J.-based company announced late Friday that, as part of its restructuring of its commercial operations, it will discontinue its 19-person Oxandrin field sales force. The move follows the company's launch of oxandrolone, the generic version of Oxandrin. 

Moving higher once again.
