With AMEP... you just never know...

QuestSolver

AMEP is a given "gap and runner" Monday, this is my top OTC ONG pick based on fundamentals alone and not even ONG production and posted it throughout at .013's.

Look also at the Biotech pick and DD it...CLBE,I put some info in this forum and you will see anywhere under .20's will be a gift very soon.

OneStockMind

Looks like AMEP is bouncing off of 0.058 as a good support. Let's hope it holds and goes back up.

American Energy Production Inc. Announces 20% Increase in 3rd Quarter Production Revenues for Two Investees
10/27/2005 07:00
American Energy Production Inc. (OTCBB: AMEP) announced today 3rd quarter production revenues for it's two wholly owned investees, Production Resources Inc. and Bend Arch Petroleum Inc.

American Energy Production Inc. investee, Production Resources Inc., sold approximately 2761 barrels of oil in the third quarter for total net oil revenue of $97,617.00.

Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. sold 2782 barrels of oil and 26,431 MCF of natural gas for approximate total gross revenue of $436,281. Total approximate gross revenues for Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. and Production Resources Inc. totaled $533,898.

Charles Bitters, President of American Energy Production Inc. stated, "Oil and Gas revenues in the 3rd quarter increased approximately 20% from the 2nd quarter even though Bend Arch Petroleum Inc has not been able to fracture stimulate several oil and gas wells due to a lack of water caused by the severe drought in the north Texas area. In fracture stimulating a well the amount of slick water required is over 5,000 barrels per well."

Mr. Bitters also stated, "After a few delays with mechanics and part order delays, we are pleased to announce that all drilling rig and mud pump engines started and ran without any major problems or repairs. The derrick should be raised in the next few days and then the drilling rig will be moved to a location on a Bend Arch Petroleum lease to drill a 3100 foot natural gas well and test out the rig."

American Energy Production Inc. Announces 3D Seismic Study of Two Tracts in the Barnett Shale

Business Editors / Energy Editors

MINERAL WELLS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 2005--
American Energy Production Inc. (OTCBB:AMEP) announced
today, two of AMEP Investees Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. and Oil America
Group have initiated work on an extensive 3D seismic study on 2500+
acres, consisting of two tracts, in Central and North Central Palo
Pinto County, Texas. The purpose of the seismic evaluation is to
prepare the way for the re-entry and deepening of two existing wells
by Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. into the Barnett Shale formation with
horizontal lines and two proposed new joint venture horizontal Barnett
Shale wells to be drilled by Oil America Group over the next few
months.
"We know the Barnett Shale formation is there. The question is
what is the best way to approach its development? The purpose of this
study is to develop a clearer picture of the formation in order to
attempt to use the specific characteristics of the formation
underlying these tracts to our advantage. There are naturally
occurring fractures in the formation and we want use the data of this
3-D seismic shoot in both our lateral direction of drilling, and the
design of the hydraulic "slick water" fracture used to complete the
wells." said Charles Bitters, President of American Energy Production
Inc.
"We are cautiously optimistic at the prospect of a substantial
increase in the production of both oil and gas in these horizontal
wells, over the production rates of the vertical wells we currently
have in the immediate vicinity. Drilling horizontal wells in the
Barnett Shale has evolved from picking any location to adding a great
deal of science and new technology such as the 3-D seismic. With the
cost of drilling, completing and equipping a Barnett Shale well today
there is very little room for mistakes," stated Mr. Bitters.
Joe Christopher, President of Oil America Group said, "We are
thrilled that a spot opened up for us to be able to do this 3-D
seismic shoot now because we hope to be drilling on the first well of
our program in the next several weeks."

basonista

Are you in this gmarc?  Let's see if this news helps AMEP break it's triangle to the upside!  I bought back in yesterday at .065 with a break of support at .064 as my stop.  Minimal risk with nice potential upside.  The horizontal support on the 2nd chart is right around .064 which happens to be the 61.8% fib retracement level.  Since AMEP's last run, this level has held either at close or as a bounce (like the last couple of days).

gmarc66

Hey Basonista,

no, i am no longer in amep..sold a good while back.

I still look watch it though...saw the news, so thought i would post. Perhaps if i see it running today, i may jump in. ;)

Good luck to you! ;D

basonista

Thanks, Julia.  That strong support at .064 prompted me to get back in.  I was one of those that bought it around .02 something and sold it before it's run so I've had it on my watchlist also. ;D  I don't know if this news will have an impact but if support holds, I'll hand onto it for a while and see what it does.

basonista

Hmmm, interesting dip this morning.  Lots of buyers at .06 though.  Let's see what it does...

And stockcharts.com not working again this morning.  Grrrr... >:(

twodachsie

I bought a little bit of AMEP @ .055 yesterday. Waiting for some good news for a little run.

A nice move up today...Bullish Engulfing.

American Energy Production Inc. Releases Update to Shareholders on the Progress of the Ideco Drilling Rig
Friday November 18, 8:00 am ET

MINERAL WELLS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 2005--American Energy Production Inc. (OTCBB:AMEP - News) announced an update to shareholders on the most recent progress of the Ideco drilling rig purchased by Investee AMEP Strategic Investments Inc. The refurbishing of the Ideco oil drilling rig is now complete. The mud pump engines and the draw works engines are running with no problems. The company is extremely happy with these results. Overhauling two torque converters on the draw works engines are completed and re-installed and ready to operate. Pressure washing and new paint on the rig is also complete. The derrick will be raised ASAP and pictures of the drilling rig will be posted on the websites of AMEP and Oil America Group.

Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. will move the drilling rig to Bend Arch Petroleum Inc., 12 well property, and drill a 3,100 foot developmental well. This well will have four to five potential natural gas formations that could produce 200,000 to 300,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day, however there are no guarantees the well will be commercial.

In a recent news announcement, the extensive 3-D seismic study on 2500+ acres, consisting of two tracts, in Central and North Central Palo Pinto County, Texas for Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. will be completed this weekend. The purpose of the seismic evaluation is to prepare the way for the re-entry and deepening of two existing wells by Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. into the Barnett Shale formation with horizontal lines and two proposed new joint venture horizontal Barnett Shale wells to be drilled by Oil America Group over the next few months. As stated previously this 3-D seismic shoot will take some of the guess work out of staking locations for the horizontal Barnett shale wells.

As previously announced AMEP has posted its best 3rd quarter ever. With the Ideco drilling rig becoming operational and our Production Resources Inc. oil properties having great success with AMEP HOA 800 our forward-looking guidance looks positive for a strong 4th quarter and 1st quarter of 2006.

News :  ;D
American Energy Production Inc. Completes Work on Ideco Drilling Rig; Transportation to First Drilling Location Has Begun
11/29/05

MINERAL WELLS, Texas, Nov 29, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
American Energy Production Inc. (OTCBB: AMEP) announced today the first raising of the derrick on the Ideco drilling rig which is owned by wholly owned investee AMEP Strategic Investments Inc. The raising of the derrick, was the final step in the refurbishment program so the rig can now be moved to the first drilling location.

Charles Bitters, President of American Energy Production Inc., said, "The Ideco drilling rig has been completely re-furbished and the drilling rig derrick was raised the day before Thanksgiving. The drilling rig engines and torque converters ran and worked perfectly. The drilling rig derrick was raised and locked in place very smoothly for the first time since the rig was acquired."

Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. has begun moving the Ideco drilling rig to its twelve well properties, and will drill a 3,100 foot developmental well. This well will have four to five potential natural gas formations that could produce 300,000 to 500,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The company will use this relatively shallow well as a test before it attempts to drill to its maximum depth on a horizontal Barnett Shale natural gas well. This well will be used to work out any remaining issues with the rig that may occur before attempting a maximum depth effort with the rig.

Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. geologists have begun studying 3-D seismic maps from the recent seismic shoot to determine two Barnett Shale locations for the Oil America Group Limited Partnership Investor program. Potential investors can contact Joe Christopher at [email protected] or 972-386-0601.
