eliteg,

what you think of bign? similar to upda? it came down from 0.25 to 0.01 and now moving after latest pr.

It looks good but I could never enter it here.. just not safe.. i mean it could go way higher but I would need another consolidation to show up and then a rebreak of that to get back in.  These pennies are risky and they gotta meet your rules, your criteria or they will send you packing, imo.

OneStockMind

OK, back to HYRF... Could anybody predict today's drop?
I mean yesterday it closed at HOD, gapped up today and then 37% drop!?
I'm still in the positive territory but if I could somehow predict that kind of a fast drop that would make a very nice swing trade. I was in front of my comp all morning but once it started heading south I wasn't fast enough.
DId anybody take advantage of this swing?

ScottishTrader

No, I'll corect myself, I didn't predict the drop as it happened - no way I would have thought it would do that, but I had a strong feeling that a large portion of gains made from the announcement would be pulled back from swing traders/profit taking - I'm just amazed it happened first thing!!

I was expecting a morning rip that would push it too high, and then a fairly large pullback.  And as I bought 10000 at .21, every penny is $100 to me, the potential to swing trade it intraday is a real one.  If you saw my post on the HYRF board, HYRF has been averaging at least a 10-15% high low spread most days, even when the open/close has been small.  I think there are quite a few traders out there milking HYRF for what they can get, and today is a perfect example.

Unfortunately, doing thee same is a lot easier said than done!!!

OneStockMind

Well... there are so many opportunities.. Fortunately HYRF has very good fundamentals so holding it for a bigger gain is a good thing too. It's just that you always want that extra buck :)

WDAM is going crazy again today..

you gotta let um go, OneStock.. cause they'll burn you on the chase.  But you study what happened and hopefully you will be able to spot and DD one when it just starts.

Heading out.. gotta get rabies certificate for the dogs because neighbor complained my dogs(1 yr old golden retriever brothers that couldn't hurt a fly) were aggressive towards her lil dogs.. grrrr what a pain some people are.  It takes just one to ruin the neighborhood huh?

Trade it good everybody.  Remember the Friday selloff.  And have a nice weekend.  :)

These pennies are amazing, and extremely hazordous at times. I placed a limit order this morning on MBAH at .058...20,000 shares....got a partial fill of 5000 almost immediately while it was in that range, 5000 fill at my limit after it broke .06, then the balance of the fill at my limit while it was in the mid 6's...............you just never know do you?!  :o

mezz

i find its better to do market orders on these. you might pay a little too much but you will get all shares. and if it moves 40-80% that litte extra on the buy wont matter

OneStockMind

It really depends on your trading platform. I'm using Ameritrade and they don't allow market orders on penny stocks. Also, it's been proven that market orders for penny stocks can be very dangerous since those stocks are easily manipulated. IMO.

Mezz.

Maybe I did not clearly indicate my plight. I am quite happy getting 20,000 shares @.058 (actually ended with 27,000) when the price was already above .06 and midway to .07 I was merely stating that "you just never know" as a complete surprise to the end result  :)

I would never enter a market order on a penny, that begins an entirely different journey in my meager experience. Sorry if I was not clear.

I would applaud G-man but I have a bit of posting yet to go....I will later....Thanks "G"..... again ;)

Looking just at the chart, I like SKVI as one to watch.  I like the patern on the yearly chart but the volume is still too low for me to consider(according to my rules)  Opening up the chart (looking at a longer term chart) it looks like its making a move out of a base and through a resistance point, which is nice.  I like the price action lately so I would be waiting for volume to kick in to make it feel safe to me.  Of course it may just continue upwards on this volume(and the volume aint that bad its just not meeting my requirements).  Lets see what happens.  Hope this helps.

and..

NNVC man o man.. what a great buy it was under .3.  But now I just cant buy it.  I was considering all day but it went along without me.  I'll watch.  I'm awaiting something else to trigger.

might be an early G starfire but its a new stock so hard to judge.

Mr. EliteG -

What is your response to the drop MBAH is having today?

I knew it would drop because of 3 large white candels, but I didn't expect it to be so big a drop.
