might be worth a look. Management is sketcky but the financials and the sector are ok and good

maris

Action from possible short squeeze. Nobody seems to be on this one yet the volume finally took off after being soft for the past month

maris

I am all alone on this one but that might be a good thing. I hope it is . Of course it might be a bad thing and then I am screwed

No, you're not alone ;D

I looked at the chart, and to me it looks good.

But reading charts are something new to me - so I'll leave that to others!

I'll put a chart in - that might catch somebodys eye.
With so many posts and suggestions it seems like a good idea to show a chart, so people can visualize... ;)

Cheers!
Happy trading...

I think there will be some follow up news to further propel this laggert. Contract ties with the big boys smart product innovations and of course the lease of their fab plant. If that bum Bambi running the  company would leave then this one will rock. The bum does have his house up for sale in NJ for 11 million so maybe he is planning to take a hike. Good riddance

maris

and there is a reason. CPST is coming of age as an energy alternative. getting the press and some important contracts. All technicals are hitting the right spots. ANAD isn't quite as hot but has something going on behind the scene. CEO putting his mansion up for sale and the company seems to have some new contracts in the wind. Most important thing is their RFID CDMA WCDMA products that are needed in this market. Telecom is now; early stages after 4 dormant years. Pent up buying to keep up with hot market. I see consolidatin in this area. Good luck . Make some big money

The new estimate shows the loss narrowing by 6 cents to 7 cents a share, or 22 percent to 25 percent, from the second quarter. The sales outlook is up 17 percent to 21 percent from what the company had reported in the second quarter.

ANADIGICS had predicted a sequential improvement of 10 percent in both loss per share and net sales when it had reported the second-quarter results.

Price Channel (continuation).........Bullish
When you're hot.....you're hot!

Lot's of News, Link:......  http://finance.yahoo.com/q/h?s=ANAD

A price channel is a continuation pattern that slopes up or down and is bound by an upper and lower trend line. The upper trend line marks resistance and the lower trend line marks support. Price channels with negative slopes (down) are considered bearish and those with positive slopes (up) bullish.
In a bullish price channel, some traders look to buy when prices reach main trend line support. Conversely, some traders look to sell (or short) when prices reach main trend line resistance in a bearish price channel. As with most price patterns, other aspects of technical analysis should be used to confirm signals.
Because technical analysis is just as much art as it is science, there is room for flexibility. Even though exact trend line touches are ideal, it is up to each individual to judge the relevance and placement of both the main trend line and the channel line. By that same token, a channel line that is exactly parallel to the main trend line is ideal.

I'm out @4.32  up 20% on it, it's been a bumpy ride on this one.Up about 12 % today on no news.  Maybe a delay action from the sierra wireless news? Shorts covering?

Richard

Looking at the 3 year weekly chart, this one is breaking from a not-quite-perfect cup with handle. Ideally, you want to see a rounder bottom on the cup, but I think this is a pretty solid move here. There should be a pretty firm resistance above it from the head-and-shoulders neckline, so that makes target #1. Once it gets thru that, target #2 is the top of the head. Beyond that is wide open.

Hopefully, I can remember this on monday (I take my weekends seriously).

Good pick Richard (applaud)... but let me enlighten a bit something here.

5 months ago, ANAD dive @ 1.26 all-time low.. & if you're a bottom hunter, you are willing to buy around 1.26 - 1.46 pps... Supposed you enter @ 1.30 & you held it until today (closed @ 4.45 pps) that would be a 242% gain in 5 months with very, very low risk ;) ...But you are not gonna sell it now that the Falling Wedge pattern has been breach, but profit taking should be expected pretty soon...

Classical charting methods work better with Relative Stength Index (RSI) than with other indicators. Trendlines, support and resistance, and the head-and-shoulders patterns work well with RSI. RSI often completes these patterns a few days in advance of prices, providing hints of likely trend changes.

Divergences between RSI and prices give the strongest buy and sell signals. They tend to occur at major tops and bottoms. They show when the trend is weak and ready to reverse.
