Instituational ownership is up from 21.5% before earning to 26.7% today (seems to be a pretty large increase - VPHM has been up 5%+ in the last 2 weeks).

The CEO seems to be a lot more charming in the conference call than the last. I believe the company has learned to be a short killer by release the earning in pre-market instead of after market. And "a lot more good news to come", according to the CEO.

I bought in at $15, and this time, I think it's heading to $30+ shortly, with a large short ratio, and a good bull general market.

Great pick and result Michael, applaud.

Hi Stocky,

Thanks for the applaud  :D

Fundamentally this is a no-brainer. It should trade at a PE around 40 having their phenomonal growth in mind.

Technically I see the August gap in play. It would be nice to see the stock close above 26 in the near future.

Another great day for CKCM.

The August gab is definately in play now.

With earnings growing 176% this stock should trade at a PE of 40 or a PPS of 53. We will not go there now but I have patience to wait.

CKCM is a great stock and it will continue to climb till it has reached fair value.

Much deserved applause Michael.  :)  I own 2 of your picks from here, CKCM and CRYP.  And your analysis on other stocks helped validate some of my choices.

I agree that CKCM should be trading at a much higher PE.  Shorts have been playing an increasing important part in stocks as of late.  Today seemed like a short squeeze as extraordinary volume came on no news.

IMO CKCM is the best RFID play out there.

Hi Michael,

Another applaud here, after the one from AOB.

As I mentioned at the beginning of the tread, I bought around $22-23 back in July, and watched it to go up to $28, and only had to sell at $20 after the short attack in August.

I have been back since $15 (the 1st day of reversal), with 50% more shares than the 1st buy. CKCM is my largest holding after VPHM. I think we will hit $30 perhaps this month or early Dec. I will hold it till the next earning and watch out for the short interest at that time before deciding whether to hold through the next earning or not.

Looks like CKCM may be moving out of an oversold condition. It has great fundamentals.  How do I post a chart to this thread ?  Arghhh

brandyjoco,

Hope this helps...

I took me awhile to figure it out, too.   EliteG, cumulina, Ramsburg and others helped me out.  Here's what I do:

1. When you have a chart up on your screen, you can capture it  by pressing the Print Screen key on your keyoard.    On my keyboard, it's on the top row, to the right of F12.

2. When you press the Print Screen key on your keyboard it saves the image to the clipboard.  You then...

A. Click your Start Button
B. Click All Programs
C. Click Accessories
D. Click Paint

3. When the Paint Sceen opens, Click Edit, then Click Paste on the Drop Down Menu.  Your chart should appear on the blank page.

4.  Click File.

A. On the drop down, click Save As.

B. When that opens, on the first line, put whatever name you want for your chart.  I use the stock symbol, and the date.  Example: CRYP 9-12-05.  Don't use slashes. "/" For some reason, it won't accept it.

C. On the second line, click on the drop down menu, and select either .png or .jpg

D. After that, be sure to click the Save button

Now your chart is saved on your computer.  To post your chart...

from EliteG...

"**to post image** - When you are writing a post in 3stocks there is a button underneath the text editor called Additional Options...you hit that and then hit browse to locate the chart saved on your computer.  If you want to attach more, hit the more attachments button."

Good luck!

Hmmm..... sometimes Christmas comes early and I guess that XMAS in January is a bit premature .

I am not sure why CKCM is up 11% today but then I really don't understand why the price is below 40.

When that is said we are in the middle of the earnings season and these kinds of nice surprises sometimes is a prophecy about what to expect - It can still be a lot better  ;)

Rober E. New issued an update after the close with CKCM as one of his favorite picks with a target of 40

CKCM is making a nice move today. Let me just be honest. I am not sure why  ???

Now that doesn't mean that the price is not justified. In fact the price should be much higher based on the fundamentals of the comapny.

There might be two reasons. Either somebody really wants to hold the stock over earnings or somebody really wants to cover before earnings. Anyway it is a good omen for the earnings.

I would obviously prefer if we have a solid short postion going into earnings but if it is short covering there is still a long way to go!

It seems to be set to breakout of the cup and handle formation. If it is a successfull breakout  the depth of the cup can be used to calculate an approx first target on leg up. That should give around a point value of 10. 38 to 39 should be an achievable target but it can always shoot up due to the big short position.

What a drop. But there was the lesson to be learnt: Whatever the charts say or the fundamentals suggest never bet against Mr. Market. CKCM was showing strength and going up against the wider market trend, end result all the gains of last few days and even more gone into smoke in a single day.
