Is GIGA a good buy at this level (4.18)?  Or do you think it may drop below 4 and seek a new base there before going up again?  They just reported good financial results, and I am surprised that this stock didn't take off like it did in the past on non-financial news.

Any opinions?

Thanks!

The thing is back in March the stock hit a high of about $5.  It went up real fast then dropped.  I think a lot of people thought it was going to break out from there.

I think a lot of those people are selling off.  A lot of ask prices.  But My opinion is this is a good entry point.  The stock is recovering.

I am always leary of a fast up move in a stock.  if you look at the chart the move was alsmost onf a 90 degree angle.  It was bound to retract.

Good luck.

I have had GIGA for a few weeks now, starting at $4.11.  It has been going up and down with not much moving in either direction, and the volume has been considerably low.  It has been behaving completely contrary to my expectations.  Do you think this stock will take off this week, or continue its recent behavior?  If the latter, I may sell at near-breakeven and get something else instead.

Thanks,
Jeff

News today:

09:19  GIGA Giga-tronics announces Israel Ministry of Defense contract award (4.71 )

GIGA, nice buy Tommy, personaly I'd be locking in profits on GIGA,big move history suggests spikey run followed by  downward drift. That said nice news on the Israel contract, military deal will go on for ages, maybe this could run more. For some reason it hasn't appeared on my vol mover filter, hmm something to look into.
Again nice buy, you get some good winners.

Looks like GIGA may be shaping up for gap open, nice bounce of the 9 ema zone from the pullback 2 sessions back, close near hod on good vol, lot of filters will pick it up tonight.
