But as to current stock price activity, I believe what is happening is this post:

= In the spirit of the "swing trading" method, you sell and buy back more shares.  You can also do this as the stock is going down in price, so when the stock rebounds, you will still have more shares.  Of course, as I posted numerous times before, at any time you are "uncomfortable," holding cash is a very viable trading option and buy back when you are "comfortable again."

Thanks pagdinger3 for the post from Raging Bull MB:

Just remeber folks take profit when you can, limit your losses. No company has ever survived financing with no bottom limit to warrents. So buy on dips where you see bounces and take profit.

MUST READ! THE RELEASE OF MICROSOFT CORP.'S (MSFT) Xbox 360 just two days before Thanksgiving juiced videogame rentals during that key holiday-shopping week. U.S. consumer spending on rentals shot up 44% to $24.4 million during the week ended Nov. 27, from $17 million in the prior week, according to point-of-sale research by Rentrak Corp. (RENT) Among the top Xbox 360 titles rented that week were Activision Inc.'s (ATVI) "Call of Duty 2," and Electronic Arts Inc.'s (ERTS) "Need for Speed Most Wanted" and "Madden NFL 06."

This is just my opinion.

When the last 5 days of profit taking and sell offs, all the "nervous" and "uncomfortable" sellers probably took profit or sold at loss.

Those that took profit and watched the stock price fall will buy back at some point and "hold" shares along with long-term holders until the next sell target.

= Stock price up and down is dictated by the law of "Supply and Demand."  When the sellers out number the buyers, stock price goes down.  When the buyers out number sellers, stock price goes up.  If stock holders are not selling, "Bid" price must be continuuously increased to "entice" the holders to sell.  Yes, this rule of "Supply and Demand" applies to every stock (with some exceptions merger, buyouts, etc. - and perhaps money manager/market maker influence.  Penny stocks, unlike "listed stocks" (NYSE, Nasdaq, AMEX) don't need a seller to buy.  Outstanding shares can be bought directly without going through a seller. - correct me if I am wrong -  ;)). =

When the share price rebounds, it will bring in more buyers (who sold at loss and new buyers learning of GameZnFlix (probably through Circuit City, GameZnFlix flyers/website, internet/MB "buzz" and word of mouth).

Whether this is the case, time once again will be the judge.

Good trading!

I have just had a discussion with my wife about GZFX (buy/hold/sell).

This is just my "theory"

Let's say, if you are "in the know" group of GameZnFlix or Circuit City who have the current and future projections, and let's say the outlook is good (let's say CC is going national with GameZnFlix and about to break the news this month).

Would you want the stock to take off right now?

I believe you would want to "accumulate" as many shares before the "big climb" up after any future positive announcements that will push the share price up.  I know, the outstanding shares can be bought directly, but what about the "lowly" GameZnFlix employees (the ones packing and mailing out the DVDs/games) who have to buy shares like us retail traders?

I told my wife I will give GZFX this week to show signs of rebound, it not, I will sell and wait for more rebound activity.  If GZFX rebounds this week, then I will hold.

Good trading!

I am holding cash to see where GZFX goes.

I would like to see an uptrend on RSI, both (14) and (2).

When it rebounds, I will buy back.

What a day for SPEX (Spherix Inc.)!  Thanks again David for picking SPEX for your Fast 3SOF portfolio!!! (he already took profit, but I will swing a little longer until I see profit taking)  ;)

Day #2 of spectacular gains for obvious reasons.  Spherix Inc. makes Naturlose (sweetner like Splenda and Nutrasweet) which just received FDA approval for phase 3 clinical trials on Monday:  http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/051206/dctu024.html?.v=36

Here are some facts:
Nutrasweet (Aspartame) becomes unstable at high temperature and breaks down, so it is not suitable for use in products that are cooked/baked at high temperature or pasteurized.

Splenda (Sucralose) is stable at high temperature, but some of its 32 patents are expiring in 2006 and its maker, Tate & Lyle (TATYY), is facing lawsuits for "misleading" marketing.
http://www.businessweekasia.com/bwdaily/dnflash/jan2005/nf20050119_5391_db014.htm

"The US district court of Central California ruled that the Sugar Association had the right to continue its research into whether the Splenda campaign is deceptive with its slogan, "made from sugar, so it tastes like sugar", misleading consumers into thinking the artificial sweetener was "natural".

If the industry body does – as it is sure it will – find proof of deceptive advertising it will no doubt seek corrective advertising from McNeil Nutritionals or some sort of apology from the firm saying it has mislead the American consumer."
http://www.foodnavigator-usa.com/news/news-ng.asp?n=59605-splenda-to-sweeten

Here's more info on Splenda and Tate & Lyle:
http://www.mercola.com/2005/may/11/splenda_competition.htm

"Trouble for Tate & Lyle?

Tate & Lyle, the UK-based makers of Splenda, may have good reason to be concerned about the future of its artificial sweetener. Why? There's been a buzz around the business press that the exclusive patents on Splenda may be expiring as soon as 2006.

Currently, Tate & Lyle own 32 different patents (from commercial blends and products to processing) on Splenda.

What's more, investment bank Goldman Sachs downgraded Tate & Lyle to 'underperform' from neutral, and have suggested that the artificial sweetener will face competition from alternatives soon, heralding lower costs for food and beverage makers as sucralose makers compete for market share. Analysts say the pressure of generics is creeping up on the firm." More on link

And Naturlose from Spherix is one of the alternatives!  This is from Naturlose website:
http://www.naturlose.com/naturlose-what.htm

"What is NATURLOSE?
Naturlose is our brand name for tagatose, a naturally occurring ketose that is found in some dairy products and other foods. We have patented the use of it as a low-calorie, full-bulk sweetener, and also the process to make it starting from whey, a dairy by-product. Naturlose has been determined to be a Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) substance in the U.S., with the FDA permitting its use in foods and beverages. Naturlose has also been determined GRAS for use in cosmetics and toothpastes, and in drugs.

Naturlose can currently be used as a sweetener in toothpaste, mouthwash, and other cosmetics, and can also be used as an excipient (non-active ingredient) in over-the-counter and prescription medications."  More on link.

Spherix Up on Plans for Clinical Trial
Wednesday December 7, 3:53 pm ET
Spherix Shares Up After FDA Says Co. Qualified to Begin Late-Stage Clinical Trials for Naturlose

BELTSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Shares of Spherix Inc. jumped Wednesday to a new 52-week high after the provider of biotech and information technology services said that the Food and Drug Administration told the company it was qualified to begin late-stage clinical trials for a sugar aimed at diabetics.

Spherix shares rose $1.40, or 37 percent, to $5.15 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq at more than 100 times their average volume. Shares hit a new 52-week high of $5.85, surpassing the old one of $3.95 set last December, after sliding to a recent 52-week low of $1.19. Company shares are up 59 percent on the year so far.

The company said that the FDA reviewed data from its early and mid-stage clinical trials for Naturlose, the brand name for the low-calorie natural sugar tagatose. The Phase III clinical trial would study the use of Naturlose in patients with Type 2 diabetes, or adult-onset diabetes where the body does not properly use insulin and produces low levels of the hormone.

With a successful Phase III trial, the company said it would submit an application to the FDA to market the sweetener.

Tate & Lyle (sole manufacturer of SPLENDA® Sucralose) is traded in the US as TATYY.PK and in London as TATE.L.

LONDON, Dec 8 (Reuters)
Tate & Lyle (TATE.L: Quote, Profile, Research) was another weak spot, shedding 1.5 percent as Morgan Stanley started coverage of the sugar and sweeteners firm with an "underweight" rating, dealers said.

The stock was also depressed by an announcement that its finance director had slashed his holding in the company."

I wonder why?

Good morning!

With SPEX jumping from $1.27 to $4.92 in two day, I do not believe the stock is "trendable" for the moment - I still posted a chart below anyways.

For this swing trader, the question is when will the long-term holders who bought below $1.50 and new buyers who bought at $2.00 - $4.00+ take profit?  As the news of SPEX with FDA Phase III approval for Naturlose (possibly next high temperature sweetner like Splenda) spreads, more buyers may drive the price even higher short-term (yesterday's late afternoon dip may indicate daytraders closing out their trades).

I will wait for signs of profit taking and sell when it happens.

As to GZFX, Wednesday's gain turned the RSI (14) up and rebound should continue as RSI approaches 70-80 (that would be my next sell/exit point).
